Any advice for my post? Again when I downloaded the ROM you put and played it, it seems to be the standard Fire Red. The size matches the standard ROM when unzipped too. My apologies for the trouble.

Alright, done a few more for today. Here are my takes on Sandshrew, Sandslash, and the Nidos.

 

these are reall good personally i would have made nidoking line into a futaline just like i would do with gallade, but i know thats just me and not everyone is into every one.

Take your time.
But once you figured it out, it would be really helpful if you mentioned the exact checksum of the unedited version of the ROM you used, so that patches can be applied successfully.
With these old games, data in the ROM can be in different places (banks), depending on which language they are in, whether or not it's a revision, etc..
You can check the checksum of your ROM by loading it in this tool:

For example, I once had to patch a Pokemon hack that was focusing on Mario & Luigi that required a ROM from archive.org, which apparently is different from the more commonly used ''Squirrels'' version of the ROM. And even the latter might be around the web under different names.

Anyways, usually, when creating a patch file, you are required to have an unedited version of the ROM to select, then select the ROM with the edits you made and then create a patch file based on these edits. That's why it's important to always use the exact same ROM, when creating hacks.

Hopefully, this helps. I'm not exactly an expert with this either.

I'm so sorry to point this out but I was messing around looking at shines specifically starters and mankey and from what it looks like from what I've seen only shiny venusaur has a messed up pallet.

Oh no it’s totally fine that you pointed that out

I just decided that it would be more beneficial to just add the non shinies sprite in first


It can help push the sprites out a lot quicker and not that many people uses Shinies anyway


So until I manage to finish all obtainable in FireRed and start moving on to adding their Shinies pallet just keep in mind that shinies will just be horror beyond comprehension (unless you have a specific Pokémon that you want the shiny version in then you can just tell me and I’ll push it up the update after)

Been really busy lately so I haven't done too much more than before. Here's clefairy and clefable at least. About half way done with vulpix and also on this sheet I tweaked a few of the others I wasn't too happy with.

I'll probably be back in January with a few more of my gen 1 project. Hopefully at least up to wigglytuff if not more.

I'm leaving them in this resolution because that's how they already are in the folder where I'm getting most of the sprites from, and I was too lazy to change them XD

a few word of advice asi'm updating the gba file
1st. please take a bit of your time to edit the oeverall sprite border. keep it to a 64x64. I don't know how you're editing your sprite but it would be a major convenient for me not to do the monotonous process of editing the border with the amount of sprite you're releasing
2nd. keep the colors amount to about 16 maximum. some of your sprite has more than 16 (probably because of the nipples stuff) which would break the color pallete of the hex maniac

3rd. some of them are compressed which makes them very blurry and just filled with junk color. idk how this happens but I recommend just checking before you send the sprites over

Updated. Sorry for being gone for too long, I'm now addicted to monster hunter.
Added the three legendarybird, mew, snorlax. Currently working on the Dratini line
Only added @seijita's aerodactyl, rapidash, magnemite, the first two of the victreebel line and their heracross
The others are unusable at the moment.

Now's a good time to remind yall that 
If you want any specific moemon sprite version of any moemon just tell me and I'll work on them myself
The same goes for any skin edit to your liking. Both would be preferable actually.

And if you want to share your sprites feel free to do so, I'm always looking for help with this. Especially gen 1-3 atm

A good way I've found to fix compression is to submit the files as pngs in a zip folder.

I shared an example in this message. You just need to put all your files in a folder, compress that folder, and then share it with the thread.

That way you're sharing the normal image files and they won't be compressed when you add them to the site. @seijita

I've had issues with compression too.

I wish loverslab was normal.
