So the Torterra line has 2 variation sprites in the platinum Moemon rom file (one for each gender, Female and Male respectively)
Would you guys like it if there's different sprites of the same Pokemon line exclusive to what gender it is ?



Especially with Moemon since they have some Pokemon that has the same sprites difference with define trait of male and female between the two



At the same time, the Moemon platinum sprites I'm using is a bit outdated compared to the current running spreadsheets that has some different sprites of specific Pokemon. Would you guys want to include these in at the same time as a "Female" and "Male" version of the same Pokemon (The pink is to shown what I've done btw)

I'd love to see iterations that differ male and female! I especially like the male Latios sprite given Latios is 100% male :3

I'm 100% down for male variants where applicable. Though, you already knew this since my Platinude has male sprites. It just makes the world feel more alive.

Plus, if you didn't do that, you wouldn't be able to do male-only moemon like Nidoking, Hitmonchan, and Tauros.

Oh your second question though, I don't think so.

Just to minimize the work we have, I think we should just do one set per gender, and we just pick which one we want. That Infernape looks great!

We already have 493 Moemon in Platinum not counting alternate forms, which also need editing. I just don't want the project to get too ambitious.

Plus, as we've seen with Jirachi, we don't need the "most recent" version of the sprites.

I was asking because I found that there's these "Gender Paradox" section in one of the sprite sheets. So I'm guessing that they do want to incorporate them into the game at some point, or at least "plan" at because most of them aren't even finished.

Maybe in the future when I decide some sprites can have a dick, but definitely not on males lol. I mean I could reskin some sprites in the future to be futanari but I personally wouldn't go through the trouble of turning male sprites nude just to turn them into girls, there's already plenty of female sprites to go around so it would make much more sense to turn some of those one into futanari no ?

There is precedence for *some* species to be futanari, like Mightiyena, since female hiyena have large clits able to fuck other females for pleasure

I have a question: could we please have some of the normal Moemon have different skin colors?

The vast majority are white and only have darker skin colors in shinies.

It'd also help it so that not all of them look similar when naked.

I really liked the new Feraligatr for that.

I certainly did not expect all of this when I woke up at 3 in the morning.

May I ask what program you’re using ? I’m still finding out ways to access sprites gen 3 rom and I have never seen this one

Of course we can! It’s something I notice while looking through the sprites of the Moemons too, “Hold on why are so many of them white” was my exact thoughts lol. I guess I can figure a way out to change their skin tone and color or swap some with their shiny counterparts comfortably since I’m still new to these system as a whole

 

I’ll try my best to be active up here, I just probably won’t touch on sprites making now and leave it for later since I have some pretty important work coming up that I want to be laser focus on.

I think Feraligatr skin color should have her original skin tone, I’m just not a big fan of her having a lighter one.

 

On the other hand, Deoxys looks like a goddess. The darker skin tone made the markings of colors across her body and her private parts way more visible and better looking.

That is definitely a concern.

I have that same thought with my nude mods.

I have nothing but respect the original creators, but I can definitely feel like they'd think we're perverting their work and ruining it.

If anyone has problems with the sprites, feel free to let us know.
