I'm running into an issue where I can't import the Shiny sprite in without it somehow messing up the base pallette. I've tried all 3 option of importing prites and none of them work without mixing up the colors in either the base or shiny. Does anybody know how this happens ?

Ugh, I'm back. My PC won't turn on, so I thought my video card was dead, but I finally figured out it was just the HDMI cable. So these are all I've done this whole time.

These are nicely done! I’ll make sure to save them down for later use.
We’re focusing on Gen 1 FireRed sprites for a complete rom first so if you can work on some of them it’ll be incredible

ok bro,Ā I'm going to do gyarados, jolteon, golem, sandslash andĀ  try to gender warp of hitmonlee, hitmonchan and tauros,Ā I hope to have them ready in a week or two.

You don't have to make new gender warps for two reasons:

  1. The Moemon team already has gender warps of them. The Moemon Discord may have an edit for Tauros, but it's not here yet.

  2. The Moemon will be male in-game no matter what, so it doesn't make sense to make their sprites female. So many nude mods change the genders from male to female just because female sprites are easier to edit, even if it does not make sense. I had this problem in my projects until I found artists who liked to edit the male sprites.

Also, gen 2 Moemon are fair game as well if you want to edit them, since FRLG's post-game adds a bunch.

The postgame adds a lot of gen 2 pokemon, and we don't want people to be able to use normal pokemon.

I've already done Sandslash and Sandshrew so you can check that off your lists
I would prefer to keep the male actually, it just adds a little more to the game imo

Cool to see this is gaining traction again. It's inspired me to keep working on more sprites myself. I'll see if I can finish the second row of gen 1.

But I’m planning to just do the base form first before moving onto the shinies

i guess anyone who gets a shiny until then can consider it a horrific looking Moemon as a token of luck

I feel like you should pin the current full sheet (gen 1 plus gen 2) to your signature whenever you or someone else adds new sprites so that people don't redraw the same sprites.

That, and/or you should post an updated version every week.

I just don't want people to redo sprites that have already been done.

Using HMA, the only way to really do shiny sprites is importing the regular sprite and manually editing the shiny sprite's palette. Importing one always seems to break the other's pallette no matter what you do.Ā

This is more so a test patch, but also the start. I'm still figuring out how to use Hex Maniac so...
This patch doesn't offer much, it only have the fully evolution of the 3 starters. There's Shiny
I also don't know the difference between IPS and UPS files so the folder has both of them for reassurance.

Didn't we have edited Feraligatr line sprites? I know that they don't appear in FRLG, but it would make sense to still have them on the sheet, I think.

Yeah I haven't ported any of the sprites I made with a hack of Renegade Platinum yet

Apologies for the bother. When looking into the zip and actually launching, it looks to be the standard FireRed ROM? I did try to patch the normal Moemon 1.4 very to see if that made any difference, which it did not. When patching, only IPS patches and doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference. I can't patch the UPS file to my created Moemon ROM due to checksum mismatch. Any advice? Thank you for any assistance provided!

I patched it already
there's no need to apply the patch again
it's just the patched rom
