This image comes from many years ago.

So basically, when I was still a kid, I had a Moemon phase.

So, I found two Moemon threads and just copied every sprite I liked or thought was attractive into a single MS Paint document.

I didn't end up getting all the sprites from the threads, though.

I did the front sprites first and then kinda gave up while doing the back sprites.

So, if the links in the image still work, you can go there and directly download the sprites yourself!

I just remembered this file and thought it would be a helpful resource.

Other than that, it doesn't seem like neither PGE nor NPE likes Star Emerald and Mega Fire Red lmao. I tried to open the rom with them and they just told me it's not a Pokemon game for some reason.

Oh she is BEAUTIFUL!!!! The darker skin complements her light hair and leaves so well.

I think I might just have to choose Venusaur in all the FRLG games I use this mod in once it's completed.

I do think Ivysaur's boobs need some touch-ups, though. The nipple placement on the front sprite and back sprite just look off to me.

The one on the left is the one I want naked. However, I really like the color palette of the one on the right.

Could we give the left girl the right one's palette and then remove her clothes? I really like the pink and the lighter reds.

I don't want the right Magmar's clothes removed, though. She's my favorite Moemon of all time and I have an emotional attachment to her.

(I had a whole Moemon phase. It's inevitable that I'd get really attached to some of them. She's my baby and I don't want anything bad to happen to her.)

Does that make sense?

My thoughts:

Which Bulbasaur sprite do you want to go with? Both look adorable.

Ivysaur looks a lot better now. 

Venusaur still looks as beautiful as ever.

That skin tone definitely fits the Charizard line.

I feel like Charmander's boobs might be a bit too low on both sets of sprites. Maybe I'm also thrown off by the fact that Charmander's left arm is bending backwards in her back sprite. How did they not notice that?

Charmeleon and Charizard's sprites are perfect.

I like the somewhat pink skin color of the Blastoise line.

Squirtle is perfect. I wouldn't change a single thing.

I'm not sure if the S-shaped nipples on Blastoise and Wartortle's back sprite sit right with me.

Unfortunately, I could not find Blastoise a better color. It had been changed to be a bit less white in there but I can't see anything else fitting her.
Most gijinka designs of Blastoise is also white for some reason, unlike with Charizard's tan or Venusaur's dark.

I think it works. We can still keep some Moemon white. I think the somewhat pinkish skin really works.

It really highlight's Squirtle's blush, for instance.

Honestly I’ve been using the S-shape nipples due to the fact that I don’t actually know how to draw nipples that makes sense. I honestly don’t want to make the nipples too big or have massive yet wonky areola, both seems a bit fetish-ish to me which I’m not a big fan off really. I love breasts to death and everything that it has but I struggle a lot on the nipples.

 

I think I’ll have to tweak the nipples and learn how to balance how to put nipples on the sprites properly. And re do a bit of Charmander’s arm and boobs on the front facing sprites.

 

If you ask me, I really want to use the different skin tone I gave them, not because it took time for me to rearrange each color, but because it makes the game so much more fun to look at. I don’t mind having white and pale skin tone on the sprites, but if like 97% of the sprites available has basically the same skin color then it just looks pretty boring.

 

Honestly I’m doing this sprites thing not only because I started to gain interest in sprites making from seeing Platinude being made, but I want to diverse up the Moemon’s sprites myself.

 

As a proud lover of all men and woman, I believe every Moemon’s sprites should have some differences in skin color/body types besides their Pokémon feature.

 

Besides, I would kill to learn how to make good looking yet different body types across the chubby and muscular spectrum.

I love boobs too. Not just the big ones. All sizes are lovely and unique, even the small ones. And same with body types. Everyone's different and deserves to be included in art. Not very the conventionally attractive women with big boobs. If everyone's the same, it gets boring.

Eh, my best guess is that Moemon is trying their best to follow Pokemon's original design, which is why there's so few black Moemon because there are very little "black" Pokemon or "black-coded" Pokemon

I believe this is changing somewhat though, Gen 7 on wards has some reallyyy cool design that somewhat takes inspiration from black culture. Alola for example have pokemon that would go crazy if they had dark skinned Moemon *yet most of Alola's Moemon is still white*

Which leads me to the second possible answer

Darker skin are harder to figure out for them. I guess many sprite artists are afraid to play around and move out of their comfort zone, which can cause the sprite making process to be longer, so they prompted to just use the same color set that has worked in the past to speed up. Resulting in almost the exact same skin color every time, or at best just a standard light dark skin.

I could very well be 100% wrong but that's all I could think off that could pass as a reason. Honestly I do hope to see at least a form of diversity in body type.

That is so real. Some of the earlier Moemon designs are actually kinda better in this regard since most seemed to be doing their own thing and weren't all trying to be cohesive.

We need more Moemon like Walrein. Look at her chub.
