TIA MO2 Covers it - just need to install this so MO2 recognises the game: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/366

But is ultimately the ball is in Bethesda's & Virtuous corner here, but they would shoot themselves in the foot if they didn't give those tools, since they would directly correlate to sales. But I will throw this out there, I have heard these weird mentions of the game running basically on 2 engines paired together, the Unreal 5 engine, and then the creation engine, now how all of this is made, I don't know, and will this make modding the game harder, Maybe I cannot say. So having said all that, I would make an estimated guess that its about 80% chance that there will be mod support, how soon, I cannot say. Personally I think they are letting the players now filter out the bugs for a week or 2, so whatever mods can be made, are made on a more solid foundation, especially if they add CC, since ain't nobody going to pay for a mod that causes issue with the game. So yes I am 100% with you and hope that Oblivion Remaster gets as vibrant of a modding scene both here on LL, and on other sites obviously. I mean it's Bethesda the official mod support will likely come sooner than it has with more recent titles, as it will be far simpler to add it using unreal, Bethesda is famous for having mod support for they're single player only titles! Also I would imagine making a multiplayer mod would be reasonably easy with unreal depending on how much freedom they give us.

sophiextime Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 So carrying on from the comment that Bethesda will not provide support for mods with this game, does that mean that Oblivion Remastered wont ever have mods as complex as SexLab that skyrim has and all of the other mods like defeat, aroused, prison overhauls, various quest mods like bestial essence, Animal mansion, Amorous adventures plus the amazing animations packs like what Billyy does and Leito etc? I have been blown away but the daily growth of nexus mods. every day there are so many mods being added and updated. Most are UI or textures but its impressive. I just curious how likely this kind of activity will occur in Lovers Lab.

It basically means in short: "If you have mods in your game we don't provide game support for Problems!" The bethesda solution of what other games have as a short line of text in the game itself on the bottom border of the main or the load game screen. Plus as I mentioned it is a first step for "paid mods" in a bethesda shop. It does NOT mean that mods themselves are not supported by the game.
NoppaiKohai Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 I really hope we get sexlab and some NSFW mods rolling in soon
