It have uploaded and deleted it several times.
The comment area of the latest upload has officially become a US political battlefield.
Many people claim that they did not play but read the comments.

On nexus the staff is banning all mods that in any way glorify the female body, which is a bit sad. I sincerely hope that on this historic and great forum we can get some mods of a sort at this point.. it's absurd that they are banning these mods, on a game that, in the original version, had hundreds and hundreds of them. And it's a bit of a defeat, mods are a way to customize the game, nothing is official in the vanilla game, banning mods of this kind on a title that has made mods one of the workhorses is a bit of a defeat.. I'm a bit sad and bitter about this. At this point I'm definitely worried about when the next TES will come out.

Any actual evidence of this? I'm aware there's currently a harassment campaign from trans-phobes against Nexus Mods staff at the moment since the game has the type1/2 body names, so are you sure you're just not hearing crybabies getting angry their bigot mods aren't allowed? I've seen a number of people try and claim their mod was NSFW but it was actually just another transphobic mod. Nexus shows all their bans and removals on the forums by the way, if you can find the post there you'd probably want to link it.

On a productive note, I've been looking into Oblivion Remastered and have a good number of findings, though been spending a good amount of time actually playing the game so maybe not as much as others.. lol. (It's surprisingly solid, hadn't played Oblivion in over a decade and with the remaster changes it holds up much better than expected O.o) I'm also thinking of making a quick nude mod for testing, however I'm not well versed in photorealisic art styles so it probably won't be great on that front >.<.

I've also been digging into the game here and there on the UE side of things, currently most people seem either focused on complaining about type1/2, or focused on the older tools and getting older mods to work on the new version. I hope to try and investigate what we can do from the Unreal side of things, with my experience in Palworld modding I think it would be interesting if we got the best of both worlds rather than the worst of both. If anyone knows some actually productive communities to join for reverse engineering things and actually making mods, I'm looking for peoples ^-^ (Otherwise, always open to people joining our own Discord, The Broken Chatbox, if you want to actually share and collaborate ^-^)

I hope it's as you guys say. From the information I found it seems to me that it doesn't only depend on transphobic posts, there are many people who simply request more curves in the female body, not for transphobia, but for the pleasure of making a good-looking and personalized female character, as has always been done on Skyimi and old Oblivion. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, I sincerely hope, that it is not a censorship in itself for "political" reasons, regardless of the reasons, at the request of Bethesda itself (or third parties who apply pressure)

They keep banning mods that change body type to male/female naming. I don't honestly see the bigotry with that at all, it's a choice. Nexus is being run by a bunch of deranged individuals that force some very questionable politics on whoever frequents their site. There's a reason I barely visit Nexus anymore unless there's no other choice.

cause half the site is mods "glorifying the female body" 

the only mods banned so far are ones that reverse the body type change, and a stolen nude mod

Actually, as a reasoning it makes sense..  it would be quite strange, unless there is external pressure, but I cannot know that... we will see later how the situation evolves. Can I hope for a possible CBBE then? 😀

Yeah, you're not being honest here if you think such mod isn't made for politic reasons. The first things I saw when looking for body mods in this remaster is discussion about the "body type" words being "woke". Nobody else is complaining others than the biggots right now because they are triggered by words that literally mean "type of body". What you chose as body in the end is still your choice as you said so it does not matter.

BG3 used body type naming and it didn't prevented it to put beautiful females in the game while earning many rewards including the goty. Stop beating a dead horse and just enjoy the game.

There worst things to complain about in the game like the unleveled weapons as quests rewards a mod already fix, or the boring bodies and faces from the character creation that looks like ass, but tbh similar to any bethesda games without mods (people forgot but skyrim character creation look bad without mods, however it has a body slider)

It's just a selection in the very beginning of the game yeah and from what I can tell it has no impact on the game further down the road at all. But still if it's that insignificant, why not allow a mod that just changes a bit of wording that at least in my opinion doesn't carry any type of biggotry or hatred at all. And yeah the flood of comments about the same topic on the Discussion tab on Steam is... err... disturbing to say the least. I was expecting a lot more topics about the horrible optimization but I literally need to filter out the Body type situation threads first before I see anything of substance. Let's just hope it dies down soon so people can get to the juicy bits for Oblivion RE: the mods!

those biggots are always loud, they did the same thing with BG3, KCD:II etc and they always cry when games releases then eventually start to be ignored when the game do and sell well.

not worth the energy to focus on such unnecessary rage bait, better to focus on the current game which is indeed poorly optimized right now. tweaking the .ini can help in reducing those issues though. 

Also the game is already easily modifiable body wise, you can already extract models, modify them into blender and import them into the game without issues.

Just want to point out, changing the naming from male/female to type 1/type 2 was the political stunt, changing it back to how it was back in the original game, is not. and it is also not biggotry, most trans people identify as either. Literally 0 biggotry involved here. You don't go saying oh hey it is a type 1 trans person. holy hell, that would be so demeaning.

Nothing changed. It's moddable. There's no anti-cheat blocking modding. There's no rules against modding. There's no secret conspiracy to delete/remove/censor mods. The modding aspect is mostly untouched.

 

Yes, the rendering engine changed, nif format doesn't work and you have to use UE5 format for anything visual related. But that's definitely not an attempt to stop modding.

This isn't how it works and makes absolutely nonsense. genders is a different thing than sex. Also go out of your grotto and do a quick research, it's not difficult that only biggots are commenting and mad about this ridiculous little change that will not affect your enjoyement of the game. A mod didn't exist to replace "gender : male or female" in the original oblivion to "body type 1 and 2" as far as I know. yet here, a mod to backtrack exist. The mod itself is just a mod, but the context behind is what makes it falls under bigotry, it follows a shitheads crowd that are always problematic on nexus.

oh and, being trans isn't political and shouldn't be. I didn't even paid attention to the changes personally until I searched for a body mod replacer and saw all the hate videos and similar medias on google that was concerning for so little, and for something unrelated to what I was looking for. Exactly the same trigger with adding OPTIONAL pronouns, which is totally optional and does not even affect the game.

But hey, I guess those "anti-woke" weirdos like wasting their energy in a pointless combat that will never affect their virility they are lacking and will never get.
