Prostitution Mod

This is a modification of the original Prostitution Mod.

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/34817-xcom-2-and-wotc-prostitution-mod/

See the Readme.txt for more details.

The goal was to make things less hardcoded, and easier to modify via .ini files. Also to greatly improve the UI, and feel more engaging^TM

A: Yes, assuming you don't have a pre-3.X.X version of Prostitution installed. Unknown, otherwise.

Q: Is this mod balanced?

A: A newborn has better balance on 2 legs. Unlikely, but if you have suggestions, feel free to shoot.

Q: How buggy is this sh*t?
A: There are a couple of known issues (see Readme.txt), but non of them are CTD issues. I was able to play a few tactic LWOTC missions with this mod, with and without the Abilities. I may have missed some conditional checks or .ini properties and what-not. Please report them if you find them.

Damn. You're making me re-download Xcom2. If you need any help in writing scenes or creating new scenes, let me know! I've done it before for other mods and can help in writing. Just don't ask me to code anything lol.

Love this mod. One way to add to it would be increasing the story in the events. You could add a dozen or so different stories for the infiltration. I'm no modder so I don't know how difficult that'd be. You could change up the story based on factors(pregnancy get, amount fucked, and if they got a mate) as well but just random fresh stories would be nice. Maybe a storyline where a monster birthing gets loose in the faculty and impregnates a random amount of females before being hunted down.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a technical limitation, but a soldier captured on an infiltration mission has her pregnancies incremented on the partner list, but it doesn't add to her total births.

Also, it would be cool if all captures ended with the girl going to breeding facility, but I'd imagine that would be hard to implement.

I have a question about pregnancies. Some of my soldiers do get pregnant, and unavailable for more prostitution related content. Clicking on "get baby" doesn't really solve anything. Is there a time to wait for the pregnancy to end? I was under the impression that the magic alien tech accelerate that stuff.

Also, in the readme is this line:

Requires Building against Community Highlander!

Does it mean that we need to install X2WOTCCommunityHighlander?

Is there an actual breeding facility? As in, an actual POI we have to go to retrieve our preggo soldiers.

There isn't. They're rescued via the standard rescue soldier missions. I headcanon it that you're swooping in and saving them while they're being transferred between facilities.

Could you provide the not compiled version? There are a few things that could easily be added to vastly improve the experience such as multiple strings for a single case (using a random number + switch case), more graphic/vulgar messages and different images for a single situation (the same way as multiple strings).

great mod, thanks!

but looks like your capture mechanic is bugged - captured soldiers missed forever without any ability to free them

UPD. seems like I was wrong - capture working but without showing of capture poster

love the mod but need a few tweaks. I'm just over halfway through my campaign and I've just unlocked my first perk from the mod. They are way to hard to get. Maybe cut the requirements in half for all of them. Also lowering the resources(not fucks) for the missions would be more balanced. I'd love the mod to feel less like an infinite money gen and more like a soldier modification mod. The event dialogue gets dry but that would be hard to do anything with I believe. Maybe half the resources and double the fucks?

Edit: I have realized that I can can tweak the config myself and have done so, but my point still stands.

Another issue if playing with plain WOTC and not LWOTC:  In WOTC the max solider rank is 7 I believe (Colonel).  That means if InfiltrationPartnerByRank = 1 in XComProstitution.ini then it is impossible to get Gatekeepers (Rank=8) or Avatars (Rank=9) as infiltration sex partners which are required for the Fuck Doll Mk1 trait, blocking it and all the Fuck-Doll dependent traits.  For plain WOTC set InfiltrationPartnerByRank = 0 (at least once you get a Colonel).

So, all the mod's features are in the Secret Operations Center?

I was just randomly clicking buttons in the barracks and probably broke something. Honestly, I didn't even realize what I was clicking on.

Is there a way to not have them pop up each time; as to interrupting the timeflow?

Cause im sending like 20 into these missions and that can be quite a issue :P

Maybe if it were possible to just get a notification on the left or right side?
