Easy Tats Selector

You ever had the feeling of having too many slavetats installed and not remembering which one is which, or how they look like?

Do you want to apply 6 tats from a single mod in a few clicks?

Do you like looking at a way too long list of options?

 

Then this mod is for you!

 

Features

Adds a hotkey and a button to the mcm which opens the tats selection menu. There you can select if you want to remove tats, change the target to the crosshair and which tats to select, after you may or may not removed old tats. It uses B612 traits menu, as that can display the tats for preview!

You can not select color, gloss or glow with this mod, for that you still have to go to the mcm.

 

Requirements

 

Known Problems

  • Some Slavetats packs do not appear in the preview (Zaki, Alpia) - I do not think I can fix this problem categorically
  • Opening lots of packs is very slow - I have no idea how to optimize jContainers yet. If I learn that I'll come back and update the mod.
  • The menu is ugly! - Yes it is. Most tats are black, so I needed to change the colour to grey so they are visible.

Not make the same, not allow see the tats images but allow us to see the tats over the body with free camera. And we decide if apply it or not.

I either forgot about it, or did not know about it.

My main point for making the mod is the preview.

 Not to self-promote but since you asked, the first couple are mine.  Just updated today.  Hope you enjoy them!

 

Also thanks @Wolfen09 again for allowing me to use your assets.  Finding good art for these is the one part of the process that's a genuine pain in the ass (and not the good kind, lol) and I probably never would've bothered if I had to find all the art from scratch.

Your tats are great. Can't wait for more of them. I also have a suggestion, that most of your tats seem to be only applicable to the PC. Would you make more story-telling tats for NPCs? Since I can have multiple NPCs instead of just one PC.

STMM is great, but I think this is better honestly. Seems way easier to use if you have an absolute ton of packs, but both have their uses for sure

What skyrim version are you on? Do you have all the requirements installed?

Ok I saw the error, I was using MCM version 1.3 and not 1.4 which just adds support for the $schema property.

$schema support was added in MCM-Helper Version 1.4.0, if you have a version before that, updating should fix it.

If you have 1.4, try deleting the line from MCM/config/easytatsselector/config.json that starts with $schema (it's just for development purposes)

Heyo,

 

ever since downloading your mod, every few minutes (5 or so) SlaveTats works on the PC, thus locking me out of Menus. Is it intentional? Or am i pressing a button. I assume there is an MCM? If so, it wont show up in the list and before you ask, i have tried the command to reset the MCM, and i have Jakson´s MCM kicker. 

 

Normaly i would unsintall, however i can´t, since doing so would aparently brick my save, even when loading a save before installing. I didn´t change anything in the Setup besides your Mod.

 

You got any Idea on how, what, why or even if?

I am playing on latest AE.

Wow this mod would also be super helpful for Fallout 4 as well.  Most all of the mods for Skyrim SE have their Fallout 4 variations.  Not sure if that is on the table, but it would be a great tool for that game as well.
