The hash checking is probably part of the anti-cheat itself
Which means that if you create an alternate launcher to bypass the anticheat, somewhere in the game will detect the lack of an active anti-cheat and block you from playing/kick you, or there will be some check in the games itself that won't allow connections between an instance with active anti-cheat and an instance without active anti-cheat (This is how you can disable anti-cheat in Dragonball FighterZ and use mods, but if you go into ranked you will de-sync and crash unless you get matched with someone that is also disabling anti-cheat)

 

The other way would be to find a way to trick the anti-cheat into thinking your modded files are legit. This is probably the safer route as it if you fail to trick the anti-cheat, your files just won't load. If you do, then they will. However if you do trick it and they find out a way to detect that, now you're actively messing with the anti-cheat which will make the risk of a ban much much higher

I have sent an email to the support team, and if they ignore it or confirm that mods are never coming back, I will probably just uninstall Marvel Rivals.

This is disappointing but completely expected. The update was inevitable since it's a multiplayer game. It shouldn't surprise anyone they'd break eventually. Thank you to all the mod makers and people who shared high quality NSFW mods here. Your work was very much appreciated. If there is any patches or updates to the mods shared thus far to be compatible with the current version of the game, please share in this thread.

Yeah, mods will probably not come back until a modder finds another way to add them, and then there's a huge chance they will just patch it out.

ye i agree, the mods only need an hash change, probably someone will make a script that updates the pak files hashes 
btw im from the Zenless zone zero modding community discord server so trust me when i say that the mods only need an hash update , im not sure about the ban tho , i just read that mods got fked

We must have faith in what the modders can do, we can hope and pray for this not to be the end and hopefully it won't be! We are a community, we don't back down! Sure they might have changed the hashes and also put in some code that makes sure the models HAVE to be the same. But that hasn't stopped the modders before, so it won't now! So if we want mods, then we'll sure as hell try to get mods!

Honestly that could work, Im not sure if Genshin and Marvel Rivals are built using the same engine or whatever it takes for 3dmigoto to work. But if that can work, let's hope it does.

i dont understand why comsmetic mods would even get bonked. or fps mods since the game is so poorly optimized. im still get crazy fps drop at times without mods still

for cosmetic mods, my only guess would be copyright issues. As for fps mods, I got absolutely no clue. I only get bad fps when im loading in and out of lobbies so I've never used any of those mods.
