its very fragile adversity framework will implode papyrus if anything disturbs it, and some of the follower tasks don't work, you need a clean save, check in resaver!, and a stable fast papyrus.

but the variety in follower managed armors, and the working punishment rules, are a nice touch, in older versions of the mod you couldn't trigger punishments until you had over 3 deals, or over the enslavement threshold, and if you want over the enslavement threshod often you got the boring chains of debt punishment rather then anything fun, so the mod basically didn't start until you asked for the first 3 deals, in 0.4.5there is no such problem you can rack up debt from the get go, and automatically receive deals/punishments, it works well with SLS license management.

 

the feature to swap deals didn't work for me, i think it either needs max willpower or 8+ willpower, but i slept in a inn and no gag swap, so i would adjust the early removal scale down, and also try to remove problematic deals early because they get bundled in the modular system, for me Gag, and Armour was 1 deal and it cost a fortune to remove, or if your snowberry you just disable them, i will probably disable the broken potion task, the dagger task is pretty boring too, and how can you sharpen a dagger if you bound in towns?, so may as well disable that one too.

the pre adversity framework/dialogue replacer versions are a lot more stable, but they are not as fun, and you need adversity framework for helping hand anyway, which in my experience works very well, but i mainly use it for the begging dialogue which is a quick way to get restraints removed, makeup applied, boots, clothes, all without a whore license, you risk being striped/tied, but you just beg some more, i have not used the inn prostitutions or horse rental features

the current version seems to get capped at around 9 deals regardless of how you set your expected deals, deal time extension only is pretty boring, i think old DF, like pre modular system old, you could easily max out all the deals and speedrun most of the content, actually i think its only giving me modular deals, i wonder if i change that slider if it will do anything.

On a side-note, here's Helping Hand, from yet another Discord server. I think this is the version that used to be on Ponzi's patreon (or maybe just the larger mod dump that happened somewhere? I don't fully understand how the handover went), haven't tested it yet though.

Having an issue with Devious Followers Redux, wondering if anyone has run into it. 

 

Trying it out to see if it works
Have got myself a follower and accepted a deal for petsuit in town.

 

Can see in top left when location changes to town, but my follower doesnt seem to acknowledge or try and scold me for not being in a suit.

might have got it to work. Incremented boredom in the MCM and ran around whiterun for a bit and she eventually forced me into it. 

 

Anyone know if boredom was relevant? or is it just random when they will approach you as opposed to as soon as location changes

All the deal enforcement events are pretty random since they rely on follower idle comments to enforce rules. Anything that prevents idle comments (being too far away, conflicting mods, other dialogue) or makes followers less talkative can impact responsiveness

I think the directory structure for Practical Restraints v0.2.0 is wrong. Right now it has:  

Practical Restraints.esm

But it should be:

Hello, guys. It's the only topic where i can find "Adversity Framework". So, can anyone pls explain me, what it is, where to get it "officially", modpage, or something, and check terms of use, if i wanna use resourses from it?

Hey, are there any instructions how to set up custom whore armor?
A sample how to correctly modify yaml would be great

 

EDIT: nvm, figured it out - you can simply add editorIDs and it just works

I just wanted to inform you that I created fixes for both Simple Events and Impact Play.

 

- Simple Events broke for Re-Animated, which is the only maintained version of PD.

- Impact Play had an issue that made it not work on many animations.

 

I will try to fix any other issues that come up (and are easily fixable) but not continue active development of new features.

Probably a stupid question, but: are there changelogs anywhere for DFR, Dealer's Choice, Adversity Framework, etc.?

Also, is the discord server still live?  There are dead invite links everywhere, but I haven't seen any yet that work.  I assume that the answer to my first question is readily answerable in the discord (if it exists).

Not that I know of. The DFR archived mod page is probably the closest you'll get. Adversity Framework is largely undocumented. It doesn't do anything on its own, it just provides functionality for other mods to extend.

The Discord server linked on the first page is live and the link works for me. Also check out the DDNG discord server, which is linked in the Nua World Order one or you can find its link on DDNG page iirc. Ponzi was quite active in that one as well.

Currently trying to use SCOE and P+ along with Hentairim P+ and all im getting are default sexlab overlays, no new texture sets. does anyone have any insight on compatibilty?

Just wanted to remind anyone getting this version of the mod that they need to fix the 3x bad sign dimensions (499x512) -> (512x512) or it'll crash the game when you are forced to have the dangling sign.

Look for "Sexlab Cum Overlays Extended" and expand the fold.

I did a small "patch" or "extension" for the blacksmith's device removal in the last HH version I saw in the thread (0.2.5) as I found it lacking and wanted some other option as to having to forge or find keys.
By default HH at the blacksmith only removes "Heavy Restraints", "Blindfold", "Gag", "Mittens". From looking at it Ponzi seemed to have made it rather modular so simple enough for me to add more types (list in changes).
A lot of devices are already covered by the "heavy restraints" option e.g. straitjackets, yokes, armbinders etc., so I didnt add a extra option for each although would be possible to be able to adjust the price for each individually.

- As this isnt a official release if you use it you should consider point 3 of the main page Addendums
- Be aware that due the fact HH 0.2.5 had 3 id's outside of the light plugin range I had to resave and re-compact the formID's. This kind of formID change may affect ongoing savegames that require the old ID's in other words you may crash on load if that is the case. 
- If you use a unsupported mod be aware of what this entails in general.

That said updating from 0.2.5 worked just fine for me.

Changes made to the esp:
Added the corresponding entries for new types to the Quest "HH_Blacksmith" in the DeviceKwds Property/Array
Added the corresponding dialogue options with worn device xyz conditions for each new type
Changed the device root dialogue condition to "zad_lockable" to show whenever any device is worn rather then limit to original supported device types
Changed the root dialogue options to be easier to find as "Please, I need help" is the same dialogue as SL Survival has, so changed it to "I could use a hand with my restraints" or for the normal begging "I could use a helping hand" etc. you get the idea.

   
Original file had 3 entries outside of light plugin space Globals: HH_Num_Dogs, HH_Num_Horses_HH_Num_humans, if I remember right. Removed esl/esm flag, saved plugin, opened it back up, compacted formID's, saved again as ESM as the original was/is.
Caution: Naturally this causes id's to change, relevant for ongoing savegames. On my own didnt find any problems with it tho.

I'm not sure why the original file is a .ESM file extension when its saved as ESL while also it could probably be a simple ESP:FE, but... could imagine it being a accident by ponzi which would also explain the 3 entries outside of the light plugin space, but... <insert if it works it works meme>

Been playing with it for a bit now, adjusting prices in the mcm seems to work, removing devices seems to work.
