There are plenty of nude mods for Mass Effect Andromeda, and Dragon Age Inquisition too. Frostbite Engine isn't impenetrable by any means, even newer iterations considering the large amount of EA Sports FC mods. It all comes down to modder interest and demand.

there are plenty of nude mods, good ones, for Inquisition, DA2, Mass Effects, etc. The problem with those is that Origin ain't supporting them anymore. Mine haven't fired up in ages. but I digress: Veilgard already has a topless mode from the beginning; & I'd be willing to play this game with only that (like Nioh). the problem is you can't remove (unequip) any armour down to underwear: the game has no way to do that. This requires some modding, possibly with Frostbite. It's a beautiful game, a little linear maybe, smooth controls, animations, combat, etc. no complaints.

Modders need to make body mods for this game just to see how outraged the nexus becomes after all of them realize that people just modded it so the sliders had an effect. A mod to mute followers.

Yes, and you need look no further than the Steam charts to see that.  Starfield, with its abysmal modding scene, had over 300k concurrent players at launch.  Veilguard hasn't even hit 90k players.  I highly doubt you'll see much in the modding scene beyond the usual "character presets", ReShade configs, and simple texture swaps.

Do you guys think there will be mods to edit NPC/Companion appearances eventually? A mod to let us use character creation screen on companions or just replacers?

I think another obstacle is that the devs themselves have a difficult time with the proprietary engine so it would be a learning curve for modders as well. This seems like a case where you might want to wait a year or two, check out the mod scene and if it looks good, buy it at a discounted price.

So far every nexus mod is just character presets. I'm gonna say this game is probably difficult to mod. I know Inquisition was supposedly a bitch. ME was pretty easy due to Unreal. Honestly the only mod I want is just to turn the party member girl's underwear models into naked for the (post) sex scenes. Can't believe Bioware regressed after DAI and Andromeda to no longer showing tits. I mean, your female MCs can be topless I guess in underwear since in character creation you can have them only wearing shorts. But still, no Harding dwarf tits for her scene sucks.

I'm hoping for a slider extension mod or cheat table. 100% maxed out female chest slider is smaller than most men's chests in real life nowadays. It's fucking pathetic.

Well the game as partial nudity , but the "chest slider" is basically usless, this is the max btw

problem is you can't play like that, which I would be fine with. during gameplay you can change into one armour or another, but not unequip & remove. so what's the point. Inquisition had some nice nude mods back when the game still ran; the mods made whatever armour you had on invisible, & another mod made the underwear invisible. This is a Dragon Age game in name only, It's a beautiful game, smooth controls, etc.l but I can't play it my way unless & until someone comes up with an invisible. my 2 cents.

It isn't just not Dragon Age, it's even hardly an RPG. As I see you can't refuse your companions (or say that you don't like them or the way they act). Come on, even Shrek blew some steam on Donkey from time to time.
