We should be grateful that we get mods at all. If we are to make further requests, it should be made with all due humility and understanding. Temper your expectations and know that the mod creators owe, you, me, nor anyone else absolutely anything. Any initial and continued consideration of the community's requests for additions, tweaks or changes is entirely dependent upon their whim and fancy or willingness. @hornycopter Thank you so much for the mod. Your continued dedication to this game as well as your work on Tomb Raider are incredible. Truly some of the best mods I have ever had the pleasure of using. True, which is why I prefer to pay for a work to be completed. Then, atleast I know it will be done. One of the downsides to mod creators is that their whim changes at the drop of hat due to anything. Sometime a project gets halfway and just stops. What sucks, is when a creator has shown no intention to finish a work, they just either vanish, or don't want to release any unfinished work to the public, and let others complete it. A lot of projects are dead that I was interested in, and so was the public. I decided to take up mantle, and get those projects finished which turned out to be a journey. Some creators have left the scene for so long that there's no way of contacting them. Some refuse despite making it clear they a project is unifnished and they don't plan on working on it anymore. So often times you just have have to hope someone with the willingness ,and skill starts over from scratch, but this time sticks with it, which often times they don't. I've taken time to learn how to do many things over the years, and one goal I have in mind is making sure that whatever I do, is share my works with the public in the event I cannot continue it.

A smart choice.

LabelDegree Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Does anyone know if Gamerlands' Youthful and refine Aloy face would be compatible with with HC Aloy?

Thanks for providing examples Though I think your face looks a bit more natural so I'll stick with that. (Saves me a couple bucks too ) Also. When do you plan on returning to your SotTR mods? Been wanting to replay it but i've been waiting for more updates. Edited September 22, 2025 by LabelDegree

He said he will but he's currently in the HFW trend, and personally, as a Horizon fan we haven't had any mods for this game until now with HC, let the man cook what he wants 3

In fairness I think the linked videos show one of the most extreme versions of GamerLands head resculpt. The original version is far more natural, but the update provided various versions, (not all of them hitting the mark for me but providing for various tastes was what he was trying to do). Personally I'm very happy with the combination I have running and she looks nothing like she does in those videos. Edited September 23, 2025 by siframe 2

In fact, I bought HFW on the weekend because HC made mods for it, so the more HFW mods the better. I was just trying to get a general estimation on how long I'm gonna be waiting before replaying SotTR. And I think HFW is the perfect game to fill that void no? 15 hours ago, siframe said: In fairness I think the linked videos show one of the most extreme versions of GamerLands head resculpt. I wish GamerLands had more previews of the different variations. Does their resculpt come with the patch to that hair mod? Saw it mentioned before but also didnt find any mention of it on their store. 1

The hair mod is compatible with the head/face resculpts but HC's mods require a patch as for some weird reason (headwear presumably) hair is part of the armour files. It seems no one is willing to point me and others who want it in the direction to get it for ourselves which is a bit of a shame. I think HC should just make a patch themself when they have the time. The author of the hair mod said its easy but then again its entirely up to HC. 1

When you want to use one specific new hair style for one specific outfit variation - yeah no problem, you need to change one outfit ".core" file one time to make it compatible. Problems starts with scale. Right now I have 43 variations across 3 outfits - soon it will be 6 outfits, so let say 80 variations - so 80 ".core" files. I need to modify each one of them for each of 3 new custom hairstyles to make our mods fully compatible - so essentially I need to create 80 x 3 = 240 new ".core" files - and add 18 new archives to my mod's page for ease of use. More new outfits - even more new files and archives just for hair support - whole mod page will be just a mess. Also creating 240 new ".core" files and testing them - will be extremely boring and monotonous, so no, thanks. I think my time can be better spent elsewhere - for example I can try to add my own new custom hairstyles as part of "HC Aloy - Head Model Customizer" and make them compatible with all custom outfits mods by default. It'll have some caveats, but in theory it should work. Edited September 25, 2025 by hornycopter 15

I agree your time is better put elsewhere then fulfilling the wishful thinking of one person and as I said it's entirely up to you to make whatever you want. I'm just here to consume.

siframe Posted September 27, 2025 Posted September 27, 2025 (edited) Ok, looks like Gamerlands has the hair thing sorted for everyone. Haven't tried it yet but here's the tool: https://www.patreon.com/posts/hair-patcher-139862506 Free for anyone it seems. @LabelDegree Edit: It works great, not the simplest mod edit in the world to do, but following the video closely is easy enough. Full integration of HC's mod and Hair Studio is now doable for anyone. 👏 Edited September 27, 2025 by siframe 5

boggeyb Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 Looks like you got hair dye to work -- could you let me know how? I tried to install both the All Color and Brunette only dyes from Nexus, and get an error -- ""File too large in zip: streaming_graph.core" -- and it's only the hair dye mod I get that error with. 1
