First time playing the mod and I'm having some issues. I just got to the thalmor embassy, but I'm stuck now, can't move, and the trigger to move forward isn't happening. It's right after I talk to the elf when I get in, she tells the guard to remove my stuff and tie me to the floor. The screen goes blurry like it did when I first walked in, but I'm never teleported. Nothing happens. The blur goes away and I'm just standing where I used to be, unable to move or do anything.

 

I've tried twice now, and it's the same result. Any thoughts?

As for what is causing the issue I have no idea other than another mod interfering. I will do some testing on my side and see if I can replicate the issue.

You need to go into Zaz animation MCM and set 'force player AI', in a later scene you'll need to hit the 'release' option then switch back to player AI.

I found that using setstage borked the rest of the quest and all subsequent quests, reverting to an earlier save and using the MCM settings got everything moving smoothly again.

 

Although I have to say the whole embassy quest rubbed me up the wrong way. Being duped into being the ambassadors plaything for the weekend would have been fine. The gang-rape and assault was way out of line. And the Master being totally okay with that, not a hint of remorse, puts her in clueless Christian Grey noob wannabe territory.

I emptied all my items, but had the same problem as the other guy. Stuck at stage 125. Waiting hours didn't matter. I was able to proceed by changing the stage to 150.

 

I have done some testing and had the same issue. I was able to get the scene to continue without console commands by doing the following:

 

- Enabled controls in the MCM menu

- Switched to first person view (would not move in third person for some reason)

- Jumped to break the bound animation

- Disabled controls in the MCM menu

 

After that the scene continued as normal. The only thing I can think of is that the animation is keeping the scene from finishing. The last phase (last action) starts with the players items being removed and the fadeout starting and upon it ending it sets the new stage and resets the player idle. I was able to confirm that all of my items were removed prior to doing the above actions so the opening script fragment finished (Integration worked properly as well per the logs). The only thing I can think of is something with the bound animation keeping it from advancing but I am not sure how that could do it.

Tested again, to get past that part just change to first person view and the scene continues.

 

 

Edit: Finished the entire quest using the latest versions of all the required mods (DDi, ZAP, SexLab etc...) and had no issues other than the issue with the opening scene discussed above and the issues present already. The new version of SexLab did not fix the crash issue though, same as before, reloading from a save made after the harness is removed in the entryway scene allowed it to run with no crashes.

If you are using any mods that can randomly take control of the player or surrounding npc's I suggest you suspend those functions during the quest.

Yeah chancing to 1stperson-view did the trick, still ran into a wall of r6025-errors in the washing-scene with the guards.

After banging my head to the wall few times and double-checking everything few times i noticed that in my skyrim/vcredist-folder i had vcredistx86-version, so in some desperation i chanced that to vcredistx64, run/repair it and machine-gods smiled upon me... no errors.

Im just little worried that it might break something else? What version do you have of this vcredist?

Im just little worried that it might break something else? What version do you have of this vcredist?

 

I have the x86 version there and am not sure how to change it.

I was able to make it through the Customer Assist 02 session as a slave from start to finish including the ending. There are some fixes and adjustments that need made (minor) and t he dialogue portion needs finished. It is nice to finally have something work properly so I can go on to the next step.

Well .... bugger.

So expansion quest 4 is the last one in v3? The one I've apparently just completed?

Erani is ensconced in Moonstone Castle, she's been told which hallways to clean, she can cook and eat in the kitchens behind the banquet hall, wait on her knees in the throne room, chill out in the alcove in the master bedroom, be restrained at the foot of the steps leading up to Scarlet's bed and share Scarlet's bed at night.

And everything else from now on is just make work delivery/recovery quests, plus Tavish twice monthly visits? (Which will be problematic seeing as Scarlet now wears Protector gear and hasn't made an amulet for it.)

Erani here's a nice shiny latex catsuit with stupidly high armour rating and a +70 Magicka enchantment. And a matching pair of latex gloves. And a matching pair of six inch stilettoes. Although those have a stamina enchantment instead of Magicka.

I must say your glossy black second skin contrasts nicely with the silver of your chastity gear and restraints. We do make a fetching pair of bondage babes.

Have you read all your spell tomes? Excellent.

I miss having this mod in already i have re added it at one point but i immediately got hit by the save issue i mentioned before it wasn't corrupt but couldn't load it loading it in a save game clean crashed it. Here's my lo if anyone can try to guess what the issue may be with please lmk and ill try to get this working again. It could be that you have memory allocation problems. I would exclude hardware problems first (check for memory shortage, stress test the RAM, check if any of the RAM sticks is overheating, replace them with spares and see if anything changes, etc.).

If there is a issue with my hardware there's literally nothing i could do about it no job = no money my pc gets tweaked twice a yr my birthday and christmas by my brother. I do doubt it a hardware issue since the problem hasn't cropped up since i unistalled this mod that screams a conflict but all mo reports is overwriting some of the files from the uskp patches and skyrim itself. There is atleast 2 others reporting the exact same issue btw.

I appear to be having a similar problem to the one bahamut2119 is having. With Captured Dreams enabled, I can play just fine for a couple hours, and then abruptly (and, upsettingly, at no consistent time) I make That One Save that's for some reason the last loadable save I'm able to make. Before I figured out what mod was responsible and disabled it, I spent about a week troubleshooting, and I can make the following observations:

 

Any save made after the corruption hits is a lost cause. Even disabling every single mod I have running won't let me load them. I haven't tried to clean those saves, and am not sure of the procedure to do so; I still have a set of them though, and given instructions, I'd be happy to try if it'd help diagnose the problem.

 

Disabling Captured Dreams, even if just by brutishly taking it out of my Mod Organizer list (I'm not sure if it needs to be decommissioned from the MCM or some other more involved process; I am self-destructively lazy sometimes and didn't check for it or any of my 250-odd mods before unceremoniously tearing them out of my install), fixes the problem; corrupted saves are still corrupt, but I can load the last viable save just fine and make new, viable saves from it.

 

If I subsequently re-enable Captured Dreams, I can't load any saves, new or old.

 

This may be a foible of MO because it's fucking weird and there's no reason it should be happening. If I re-enable Captured Dreams and try to load a save, of course I crash. If I disable Captured Dreams again after that, I still crash, until I disable any other mod; it doesn't appear to matter which one. Then I'm fine again. I have no explanation for this.

 

Some other scripts get messed up in corrupted saves too. For instance, after escaping from the Helgen cave and suggesting we go talk to Gerdur, Ralof just stands in place. His AI is still active; I can talk to him, engage in SexLab shenanigans with him, he'll even scowl and yell at me if I attack him. But he won't budge from the spot, and nor will he draw his weapons to defend himself if attacked. I'm not positive this is a related issue as I took a somewhat shotgunnish approach to debugging, but he moved around just fine after an enormous chunk of my mods that included Captured Dreams was removed.

 

 

I'm sorry I don't have any Papyrus output or a load order to post just at the moment; I can get both in a day or two, though my install is presently in a large number of pieces as a result of my own hamfisted efforts at troubleshooting. I can at least confirm it isn't hardware related; my rig is pretty beastly. My guess is that is has to be an interaction with something, and probably not something SexLab related at that as I'm pretty sure my setup of SexLab mods is far from uncommon.

My captured dreams setup is 15 CD-addons, the 15(???) original mods the add-ons depend upon, the Realistic ragdolls, the HDT for the ragdolls, umm, I probably forgot the rest (fuzzy-doh, etc).

if It is the single mod "captured dreams" that fixes stuff by removing it, can I guess that one of the minion mods captured-dreams calls on is messing up?

Or minions of minion-mods (like jcontainers or the INI family).

I get crashes and people denigrate my setup or say "RTFM", but one fine day some biggie modder will include sksi.ini, skyrim.ini, skyrimprefs.ini, enblocal.ini.

Because otherwise it's like arguing what causes global warming or smog.

I'm very glad you all bring this up.

So I'm having a problem with the Chastity Ring set. Whenever I equip it I can't ever remove it, it always thinks I've got a belt or harness equipped.

 

I've emptied my inventory and checked 'showinventory' for anything. Only things equipped are the device hider (40f0c), The ring set (ending in d1) and a nameless item (same ID as ring set, only ending in d2).

 

I've tried using the 'Free Me' option from Cursed Loot.

 

I've tried starting phase 2 of the expansion quest (which I noticed removed soulgem piercings in the past).

 

I don't want to lose 50 levels worth of progress doing a remove/cleansave/re-add the whole mod if I don't have to.

 

Speaking of the expansion quest, is there a way to skip the thalmor embassy section? I've played through it over a dozen times now and it's always a little buggy/fiddly to get through and it's a different issue every time. Not to mention after the umpteenth time it starts to feel tedious (no offense), I'd just like to get to the other sections without devoting 2-3 hours to get through the thalmor section.

 

EDIT:

"player.WornHasKeyword zad_DeviousBelt" and "zad_DeviousHarness" both return "0.00"

 

ALSO, upon peeking in the CK, it's giving me the cannot EQUIP message and the rings aren't actually displaying on my character (aka not just hidden by the device hider like I assumed). So I think the problem is the item is in some kind of limbo where it is equipped but not rendered, assuming I understand the script correctly, and I can't get it to unstick from this state of limbo.

 

That still doesn't explain why it thinks I have a belt/harness equipped when both keyword checks come back negative.

 

So, just in case I've managed to make this as clear as mud a concise rundown:

 

1. Chastity Rings equipped for first time -> all well and good, they function with plugs and the locking bar(s), with the exception that the model isn't displaying on my character.

2. Try to remove Chastity Rings -> Get device removal dialogue box.

3. Select 'Remove w/ key' option -> Cannot EQUIP because of worn belt/harness (it switches between the two) message.

4. player.removeitem  -> rings not removed

5. Try and dump item into another inventory -> item reappears in inventory like any other locked-on item

6. Go back to step 2.
