nehaberlan Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Hi, I was checking the mod of a friend. In a specific part, in a room, just before I enter in it, walls, NPCs become invisible. After I enter in the room, everything becomes visible. It happens the same thing when I'm turn back in that room, and before I leave that room. I asked to my friend. He told me that he did have such a problem like this. Why this problem could happen? How can I solve it? If you can help me anyway, I'll appreciate. Here are some screenshots: Before entering the room: In the room: Before leaving the room: After leaving the room, the next room:

There could be transparent meshes in front of the wall (fx effects, the plant...) which will make the game think that the wall behind them is occluded, and therefore it wont render them. 1
traison Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I'd say incorrectly made roombounds and/or room portals.
travelmedic Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Do you/your friend have Skyrim Project Optimization installed? Or something similar? As best as I understand how that mod works, is it puts in occlusion planes into interior cells, so that your computer won't render what is behind the plane. Once you get past the plane, your computer renders what is there. The theory is that this saves load on your graphics card by not making it work so hard. The problem comes into play when using modified interiors. If you have SPO, it puts the occlusion planes where it expects there to be a wall in vanilla interiors. If you have a mod that moves or deletes that wall, the occlusion plane from SPO is still there. Hopefully that makes sense. 1

So, you suggest not to use SPO? If you do, what tool can you suggest me? I uninstalled SPO. It worked. Thank you... Edited September 24, 2024 by nehaberlan
