Testing out version 0.96.  The new hands are starting to look pretty good.  Also I like the new sets of options on the Cosplay Shirt

 

however found some bad bugs

 

For some reason the DAV files are causing CTD when swapping to the shibari mode, at least for Pure and Swimsuit.  Swimsuit newschool shibari is still tied to swimsuit oldschool shibari.  Putting on the outfit directly worked, but swapping between outfits quickly also caused CTD.  Tried it on two different saves to make sure.

 

EDIT: I just tried it with version 0.9 and didn't get the same crashes.

Well, I already noticed this issue before its release and made adjustments to others. However, it seems that this was my negligence for Pure and Swim, and I will fix it in the next version. I'm very sorry. Also, are you saying that there is an issue with the Dav text? If possible, please send me the 0.9 version of the Dav file so that I can compare the differences between the two and identify any errors.

Oh, btw, I am creating a unique spatial normal for the 'hand'. Once this work is completed, the hand issue can be completely resolved. Please wait for a while

If there is a suitable script, it's easy. But if the equipment is amputated without a script, the character will float in mid air

Probably a big ask, but would you be willing to, if possible, seperate the 'bonadge with clothing' sets from the individual devices into two seperate files? I'm only interested in using the devices, and the file size is a bit big for me

I did some testing and troubleshooting!  I also opened the JSON file for DAV to see if I could figure out what tied to what.   The version 0.9 and the version 0.96 don't have much differences other than the new files added for 0.96. Here are my findings:

So in summary: 11 / 17 of the current DAV code lines worked fine.  But stuff tied to KFT-CAE-cafe and KFT-CAE-swim both cause CTD.  While I was testing I also got Glowing Red Hands on KFT-CAE-swim transform right before CTD.  This is probably related to the hand fixes that you are working on.  Below is a pic of the red hands and of the missing body bugs I found

Perhaps it needs to be supported by scripts. Because it may be necessary to add keywords to the equipment

I think if you're using OAR and DDNG, I believe you can setup so that the equipment can use the Petsuit animations by using or the same keyword or adding a keyword to the crawling animations in the OAR config for it. 

 

So you will at least not float around. (Dunno if the crawling height is right, but there must be a way to adjust its height, with a negative value for the high heels settings)

 

It has been a long time since I looked into DD. But if it's still similar, I believe you can just create a new devious device, change the key necessary to unequip and replace the default messages for the new item with custom one's in the place where you set up the script configs.

If you set it up similar to the petsuit, it should even block actions in the same way.

if it's what I think it is, it's a setting in the DD / DDNG MCM for hiding Devices.

 

Right now all of the leg restraints including leg ropes are coded as Harness / Corset / Hobble dresses which the DD MCM by default has hidden under body pieces.

Likewise, all of the bound arm items are currently coded as Body Pieces so you need to untick Harnesses under the Body setting in DD for them to show up.

Here is the example I have created.

 

For some reason the hand overlays are not hidden correctly I tried to fix them by changing body slots of the armor or armor addon, but ended up giving up after it broke skin color.

For now you have to remove manually hand overlays from the character.

(In other words body slot are not enterely correct)

 

I used as base for this example the Cyborg Body from TAWOBA REMASTERED  CBBE 6.1 and DD NG.

So you will need the meshes from tawoba and DD NG to see it working in practice.

(There are distortions under the armpits when crawling, but I dunno how to fix it)

 

The high heels settings I tried did not work correctly.

(Characters started flying around after sitting, so something was broken on my install. It has been a long time since I played Skyrim, looks like mine is not up to date. Maybe it's based on the animation or maybe some other setting was wrong.)

(If you want to try, edit the Cyborg Body B in outfit studio and add the NiFloatExtraData with negative HH_OFFSET value after double clicking the cyborg mesh in the second tab and rebuild the morphs and item)

 

Anyway I created separate messages and separate key to allow equipping and unequipping, with customized messages that should make sense.

Since I used DD NG Petsuit as base, some messages still refer to the item as a device. I was not able to fix that, since those messages are not exposed and it would require changing scripts.

I blocked lockpicking actions and normal struggle escape with a new keyword added to the item. I used the keyword to block the options in the messages.

I did not create a way to obtain the regen spell key, so you will need to use console commands or additem menu.

 

If you equip the item from the esp, the character will crawl around (with some floating included), will not be able to equip items.

Since it uses DD keywords, other characters should react appropriately.

 

Feel free to use the esp and my edits in it as you see fit.
