All the damn mods have gone to hell again. Once more, we have to be patient until a solution is found. It actually looks like XXMI-Launcher has stopped working directly with the game executable, since it doesn't load the mods or the XXMI help menu.

I hope SpectrumQT doesn't take too long to find the bug, and I hope there aren't any issues with the mods' hashes.

Update: according to the comments here

- XXMI still works, you just need to link the d3d11.dll file path found in the WWMI folder in the "Inject Libraries" box
- This way, mods will partially work, but with LOD issues until a new workaround is found
- Both Rovers, Aalto and Lupa had their hashes changed

- Quzmick also made a Blender extension to automate copying mods down to lower LODs, which seems like a solid option if the issue can't be solved through the ini. (This is just speculation, but perhaps that method would also be more stable during updates.)

Fortunately though, I can still use my Camellya mod even if it's not perfect in the meantime ✨

worst case scenario all most old mods before this update will just be dead IF cant be fixed, mod authors have start making mods to account for the LOD change only real viable fix far i see. then kuro could change it again...lord help

If mods dont work and there is no fix, there might be alot of players dropping the game altogether... unless you spent hundreds on it so you might just stay and bare with it..

 

No idea why the Devs do this, they get so much money for the characters and if the characters are cool and mods make them cooler, you get even more money from people that want them so it feels like a lose for the Players and the Devs, we don't get our mods and the Devs don't get the extra money from the mod community, not mind the money made by the modders themselves as they have to test the mods, meaning they will need the character to do that...

It's not that they want you to stop jerking off while undressing their characters, relax. They couldn't care less what you want to masturbate to. If mods are breaking so much in these latest updates, it's because they need to implement improvements to optimize their game, which is starting to have a lot of performance issues, and those improvements conflict with mod injectors. But there's no hidden crusade to eliminate mods or anything like that, you can breathe easy.

As a temporary solution, some mods work, some don't, and some have LOD errors, but overall it's better than nothing. Thanks to my Vietnamese friend for sharing.

then why are you here, just to complain? People are aloud to be frustrated about updates, Devs broke mods last update too and if they do it again, it could mean they are trying to stop modding altogether, that includes the "Safe" stuff you know lol

Weren't you the first one here to complain? People are allowed to complain about updates, but not because the mods breaking down. Mods always break every update but people have always been able to fix it, but if Kuro actually wanted to permanently stop people from modding, than im sure they can find a way. you guys are just being paranoid.
