Finally:

I found a temporary solution that worked for me after today's patch. I've been trying to fix this for a few hours.

1- In the mod launcher (MMWI)
2- Go to settings
3- Click on Open Engine.ini

and add the following lines to:

[ConsoleVariables]

Lines to add:

r.Streaming.UseAllMips=1
r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScaleDeviceOffset=-50
r.Streaming.MinBoost=20
r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScale=24

This way it seems to "take a little longer" to load the skin, but this way it doesn't "break" as if it were without textures.

These are the settings I use:

I increase the maximum distance I can see objects, increase the quality of surface reflections (such as water reflection on wet floors, windows, glass, etc.). More reflections (rasterization), better quality, improved texture quality.

r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScale=24
r.Streaming.Boost=30.0
r.Streaming.PoolSize=0
r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=0
r.ViewDistanceScale=3
r.Streaming.UseAllMips=1
r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScaleDeviceOffset=-50
r.Streaming.MinBoost=20
r.SSR.Quality=4
r.SSR.MaxRoughness=1.0
r.SSR.HalfResSceneColor=0

Tried but didnt work for me lul. only Chisa's mod is working with far camera distance......

Hey, so for those of us having problems with fps, I've found some maybe helpful information that maybe someone more knowledgeable can expound upon. When using xxmi performance monitor in game(Ctrl+F9), I see two points of concern, one being "draw call overhead," which is costing me ~21.6 fp,s and  "command lists total,l" which is costing me ~17fps. These can both be halved by simply turning off the active mod via F6, so I'm assuming that these variables have something to do with the performance of specific mods? Is there a way to better optimize a mod? Or is this a result of having too many mods going at once? I have a 7800x3d and 5080 with 32gb of RAM, if that helps diagnose these low fps problems. Im consitently sitting at around 50 fps in the new zone, where I would normally be closer to 100-120fps in other zones. I can't remember where, maybe it was in this thread, but I recall someone saying that nothing in the performance monitor should be costing more than an fps, so if anyone could help me understand where im going wrong, it would be greaty apperciated. ty in advance.

man, can i ask you something about this? so like... do we replace the existing lines with these four or add them below the existing lines? well you see, im not familiar with this coding thing

You can do it in two ways:

First: just add the lines I sent at the end (you just need to check if there are no repeated lines, so copy the line, press ctrl + f and search in ENGINE.ini for the line you want and see if it's there)

Second:

in:

"[ConsoleVariables]"

only in this section, you can delete everything written here, and put those 4 lines I sent.

Keep "[ConsoleVariables]" written and paste only the 4 lines I sent.

Enjoy!

It should be possible just make sure to save the dds in the same dimensions (2560x1440 or 1920x1080 or 1280x720), and then save the dds as bc7 sRGB, if that doesnt work try linear.

ty very much. My screen was black because I deleted some of the file in folder so sometime the game did not find the .dds file it want.

It's work for several characters, but how to fix this problem for Chisa?

Have you ever heard of a fix tool that updates itself automatically when you use it? ^^

need help

idk what happened to this mod but it broke i think the vast majority of you are familiar with this mod

it should be white with blue lines instead of the gold ones from the original

it turned to this latex black when it should look like the 1st pic

I found the issue! it was this that was causing my fps drops! Damn this :/

I really dislike Rabbit. The lag when the camera moves makes me dizzy, and the unstable brightness hurts my eyes. But I do need an anti-transparent, so I've been manually deleting the lines I don't need from it.

r.SSR.HalfResSceneColor=0

After some more testing, I discovered two important things, but from what I saw, the post can't be edited (community rule), since this post was from yesterday's study, so I left it here. Here's an update on that post:

First:

When you move too far away, to the limit the game allows, the mod skin disappears. Setting it to 50 solves the problem. For those who play with mods in multiplayer, up to a certain distance the person will also keep the mod without breaking.

r.Streaming.MinBoost=20

Change to 50:

r.Streaming.MinBoost=50

Second:

If you use the light beam mod for chests, my advice is:

add this:

r.ViewDistanceScale=3

where "3" is approximately 500-700 meters in-game (I'm not sure of the maximum value, but the minimum is 500 meters).

Happy Holidays to All!

Version 4.03 doesn't affect the configuration at all and is also the lightest, smoothest, and most optimized version I've ever used.

However, newer mods require a higher version, so I could only switch to v6.5, which affects FPS but not significantly.

In fact, without using rabitfx, you won't be able to use mods with transparency or glowing effects (most beautiful mods use them), and rabitfx also integrates uncensored effects.

I checked my performance issues again, and I can say it’s actually not Kuro’s fault, lol. If I start Wuwa normally through the regular launcher, the game runs very smoothly with over 100 FPS, no matter what.

BUT if I run it with mods using the XXMI launcher, the game has massive FPS drops down to around 35 FPS for me. This sucks, because I can’t play the game without mods, but the FPS drops and stutters are kind of a deal breaker.

Does anyone know what I can do? :)

i said it like 2 billion times bruh the default launcher uses dx12 as default. xxmi cant it only supports dx11, launch wuwa on default launcher with dx11 and you will see IT IS INDEED KURO FAULT

Yeah, I'm now using v6.16. I choose to focus on what I need most, and remove those unnecessary for me, like the glowing part :p
