Using DX11 and deleting the Engine.ini seems to reduce the problem a bit, but it’s still not great.. I’m still getting random frame drops down to 30 FPS.

lol you got it mixed the dx11 version is the bad one the dx12 version is way better optimized if you use xxmi you automatically use dx11 bcz it doesn't support dx12

Over 10 hours of near unending hell... This was one of the most gruelling grinds I've done for modding, this time especially it's not just about the hours but the fact that it wasn't simple "click n drag" work I could just shut my brain off to, it was pixel peeping and precision work plus some texture editing bullshit to compensate for changed texture atlas'. 

I didn't bother with the Qiuyuan one 'cus I don't have him and thus can't actually check my work making it impossible to do. Augusta didn't have a lot of the assets because she came out after 2.8 when the colour assets all died for the patch, so I borrowed from Changli and did a tiny bit of work myself.

 

All 18 character UI hentai mods fixed, you can download them here.

Make sure you have the Shader activation file or none of them will work.

 

Well bright side, that was the last bit of mod work I needed to do. 2 days of non-stop grinding to fix mods is pretty much the standard at this point, that's something I can accept though 'cus if I don't do it, then who will?

Even with all these endless engine tweaks and optimizations, the game runs very poorly with mods for me. I get 100 to 120fps with everything turned up except raytracing on DX12 and when I run mods, I be lucky if I can hit 60fps at the academy and that is WITH all things turned down. I just don't know what else I can do, how can I play with mods when the disparity is THAT different? It didnt used to be like this smh.

if you are talking about the vanilla game dx12 always delete the engine.ini if you want to play the vanilla because xxmi modifies thee engine.ini everytime 
TLDR your build is very good its not your pc its the kuro games not optimizing their dx11 version of the game 

 

I can affirm this too I've noticed when I'm in other regions in WuWa the RAM it takes is only like 4-6 GB but in the new region from 3.0 it jumps up to like 18 GB (I have a NVIDIA RTX 4070 card and 32 GB RAM). Kuro did an appalling job at optimization for this update lol

I tried the fix they mentioned, but they got the line's position wrong. In your engine.ini file, put the "r.Streaming.UseAllMips=1" here instead.

Looks like strange things are happening. My mods are all largely fine after fixes here and there. UI mods largely broke for me, but I manually fixed mine using IncogAcc's code, remaking it to my use case. Skin mods largely unaffected for me except for the usual Rover / Yang Yang, just yoinked the hash values from Moon's repo commits lol. UI mods by NomNom didn't require any further fixing for me though. Seeing the recent posts, seems I was lucky lol.
