Thank you all for the kind words. I would first like to say I figured out a way for me to see all of the portraits when debugging without having to get to them in game which has allowed me to make a new 1.0.5 release that has fixed ALL of the image placement issues for every portrait.

Changes:

1.0.5 - 2025-10-07
Changed

  • Fixed the placement FOR ALL of the current images

So if you see any placement issues from now on, please let me know and I will look at it and correct it.

I also want to address some of the decisions I made when making the images/mod in the first place.

  1. I chose to try and keep the characters close-ish to their original characters in proportion and overall style on the off chance that down the road we can reskin/change the models of the 3D characters in game so that I (or someone else) could reskin them without having to redo the entire model and it would match up to the changed images easily.
  2. For Artemis, I wanted to try and add some variation to the characters so that they don't all look exactly the same and give that very obvious "AI" feel to things. Not every character is going to be to everyone's liking, sorry *shrug*.

And lastly.. I would love to add images for the male characters in the game and replace all of them as well but there were a few things I needed to think on before doing it:

  1. First and foremost I wanted to make sure I got a version playable near the 1.0 release and I hadn't had time to replace all the other characters yet.
  2. When replacing the male characters... I am faced with a few different directions I could go...
    1. Male characters with male genitalia
    2. Genderbent characters that are just female versions of the male characters
    3. Some combination of these and/or some trans characters too possibly?
  3. But if I did any of these, I would probably want to make a second mod for it so that it's optional and not required for this side of things
  4. I don't really like genderbent characters with low masculine voices... I could live with it I suppose... but there is a mod where they pitch up and down Mel's voice and I want to see if I could use that to pitch up the character's voices and make them more feminine. I'm looking into it a little bit.

I'm curious what others think? If I genderbent the characters I wouldn't likely stick to the original character designs as much and as such could probably do a bit more variation too I suppose.  I have a hard time getting past the low voices *shrug*

I honestly don't see the need to do the male characters but if you did a second mod with full genderbent versions (no male genitalia) would be my vote.  I would like to see new art for scylla and arachne for your current mod.  Apart from that I am very happy with my playing experience with your mob and am grateful to you for even doing it.

Genderbent would be awesome, and I would love to see what kind of variations you would come up with. I am saving Odysseus and the chaos dude's bath scene for your mod lol.
Most importantly thanks for your hard work!

I finally got kuipo's mod to work - I wasn't able to figure out Crossover, but was able to do it on my Steam deck instead. The trickiest part of setting it up on the Steam deck was telling r2modman what folder to use for the Steam executable - the answer was [/home/deck/.steam/steam/steam.sh] (see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/1np0x0x/no_steamexe_file/). You also have to tell the Steam desktop to show you hidden files in order to find that directory.

Kuipo, awesome work! You've made a great game even better. I would pay money for this mod. Some constructive feedback:

- I agree with people who suggested adding feminized versions of the male characters so we can have fun visuals whichever boons we choose (I'm an Apollo guy myself)

- The only character I've found off-putting so far was Hera ... why is her face so red?

I actually agree that Hera's skin color was too red... I've made a new version of her and I added some other missing images:

Changes:

1.0.6 - 2025-10-07
Added

  • Added completely new portrait for the missing Portrait_Demeter_Pleased_01
  • Added completely new portrait for the missing Portrait_Hestia_Displeased_01
  • Added completely new portrait for the missing Portrait_Aphrodite_Displeased_01
  • Added completely new portrait for the missing Portrait_Hera_Displeased_01

Changed

  • Replaced Hera portrait

Thank you. I had taken a look at this but couldn't understand what was going on. You reporting this made me take a second look at it and I realized that I had a corrupt file in my install. I verified the local files and was able to add a fix for this issue.

Changes:

1.0.3 - 2025-10-01
Changed

  • Corrected issue where sometimes Aphrodite would appear as original art

Maybe I'm stupid, but tell me how to download?

R2modman can be found here:

or you can use Gale, it’s essentially the exact same steps, it can be found here:

Oh interesting, I’ll take a look. Thanks.

@Kuipo That's a lot of updates! Great work. I'd be voting for a genderbent version as well. That sounds interesting, and makes me curious about what they would look like with your art.

@Kuipo"Allure of Aphrodite" still has old texture/picture. Also do you have any intension of making a SFW version of this mod in future?

Sorry, what's alure of aphrodite? I don't know where/what that is.

As for a SFW version, I originally was making both, but it created a lot of extra work and in general I like the original art so if I wanted a SFW version I would probably just play unmodified? I dunno.

i think that's aphrodite's godsent hex. i haven't checked so i can't confirm if it's still showing the default.

@Kuipo Yes, it’s Godsent Hex , it has the default texture.
As for the SFW version, I really like your take on the art style! Maybe just a little more cover-up? I totally understand if you don’t plan to do that , I just wanted to know if you had any plans for an SFW version.
