ok had trouble running the game with the mod. Just had to heck the integrity of the game with Steam. Damn, Kuipo's done some great work with the AI art. Hard to go back. 😍

Are you running with the high res textures? My mod only affects the high res textures. I haven’t played with crossover in many years sadly. When it launches modded, there is a console that appears and outputs information, are you seeing any errors in any of the output that might hint at why your mods aren’t being loaded? Do any other mods work?

Find the game in your Steam library, right click it --> Properties --> Installed Files --> Verify integrity of game files

Heya Kuipo, great job with the mod! I just wanted to mention some things I've noticed so far. In the bath scenes part of the art is covered behind the dialogue box on the right side. I think this could be fixed by moving the art a bit to the left in those scenes. I don't think I'll get to see them again anytime soon but might be handy for newer people. And the art for Echo the nymph looks like it could be a bit higher to see more of the art, unless that's where the art stops at the bottom of course.

 

I'm using 1080p by the way and I don't know how much trouble it would be to adjust all of that, so do with it what you will. I don't want to put more work on your shoulders if you're already satisfied.

Thanks for that. I have been thinking about a way to display the art that I haven’t gotten to in the story yet or have already passed and I think I have an idea that could work. I just haven’t gotten a chance to work on it yet.

Anyone else doing this on Steamdeck? Im using r2modman and the game launches like normal even while selecting launch modded. I havnt seen any of the art change. Any help would be appreciated

It works great for me. In desktop mode you can also add Gale to steam library so that you can select it in gaming mode similar to this guide

@Kuipo Finally got to play using your mod today. Great work. Haven't seen every piece of artwork yet, but what I've seen is leagues better than what's in the base game. I do wish there was a little more left to the imagination, I personally prefer sexy over full on nude, but it IS Greek mythology. I can get over it given it fits the stories setting. I do have a few critiques though, moreso a couple of suggestions.

 

1) I'm most likely in the minority on this, but I do wish the goddesses were a bit curvier (ie fuller tits, phatter butts, curvier hips, thicker thighs)

 

2) Artemis could stand to be prettier and not built so much like a guy (Her tits are nonexistent and she's too ripped all over)

 

I know the mod is still incomplete, and I'm using it regardless of if anything changes. Just wanted to give some feedback.

Hey, I'm kind of a lurker and not much of a forum user, but I've installed the mod and just wanted to see if i had the most updated version. The version I downloaded was from page 5 I believe. I kinda like Artemis like this, it makes her stand out from the rest but I also wouldn't mind curvier Artemis aswell, I fully agree with the 1'st take tho thick thighs save lives

I finally got kuipo's mod to work - I wasn't able to figure out Crossover, but was able to do it on my Steam deck instead. The trickiest part of setting it up on the Steam deck was telling r2modman what folder to use for the Steam executable - the answer was [/home/deck/.steam/steam/steam.sh] (see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/1np0x0x/no_steamexe_file/). You also have to tell the Steam desktop to show you hidden files in order to find that directory.

 

Kuipo, awesome work! You've made a great game even better. I would pay money for this mod. Some constructive feedback:

- I agree with people who suggested adding feminized versions of the male characters so we can have fun visuals whichever boons we choose (I'm an Apollo guy myself)

- The only character I've found off-putting so far was Hera ... why is her face so red?

Idk what im doin wrong, both r2modman and Gale seem to launch the game Vanilla even with the mods installed (on Steamdeck)

I like elements of Artemis' modded redesign, It was just a little shocking that she was purely lean muscle and no soft, thick curves whatsoever. I love a woman with an hourglass shape. For instance, while I'd like her a little thicker, Hecate's redesign is in the perfect realm of fit AND curvy.
