Done, but I couldn’t figure out how to take a screenshot of such a large console output, so I just copied it into a .txt file instead(attached below). It’s from a completely new save, with the commands used right after leaving the vault. Also, every time I load in, I get these messages in the top-left corner:

image.png.7016ef14448cbf5e28964484ec7bba94.png

sqv rss_main.txt 9.34 kB · 1 download sqv rss_keep.txt 2.71 kB · 0 downloads

Just hit F12 or the Print Screen button in game.

If you have Steam, the screen shots will be in "Steam\userdata\[Steam User Id]\760\remote\377160\screenshots"

Or they'll be in in you FO4 game folder

This

alias Player on quest RSS_Keep (16004D08)].RSS:PlayerAlias.::remote_Actor_OnLocationChange()

Generally means that the RSS_Keep quest is running because the Alias is sending events and you've got something else going on with real handcuffs. Something is removing restraints. You've got something unique going on in your setup and I can't diagnose. Are you running an older version of FO4 with an older version of F4SE?

I downgraded my game to version 1.10.163 and I’m using the matching F4SE for it. Could it be that this mod requires the NG update? Up until now, I’ve mostly been messing around with Skyrim mods, so I figured the pre-NG version would be more compatible with older mods(like commonwealth slavers and its dependecies). I’ll give it a try on the latest version when I get the time. Thanks for the reply and for trying to help

No problem. That's my guess. I'm running 1.10.984 and compiled the scripts in that version.

Commonwealth Slavers was last updated Jan 2025 I think. Nuka World was also recently updated I think. I know there have been recent patches.

I have a similar issue (messages) using the RC9, and only then does it appear. Or more to the point, it did not appear until then. (loading RC9)

I am on an un-updated .163.

Judy is a merchant, I am not sure about Sonja.

Not a blame, but my money is on RC9 as the culprit.

I made a new instance of the same modlist, but on the latest game version, and it works perfectly so far. Thanks for the help - gonna enjoy the mod now :)

I downloaded the version quoted above and it worked fine for me. No crashing on new game. I'll be testing the mod's other functions when I have more time

What version of the game are you running?

1.10.163

I'm running and compiling for 1.10.984 NG update 2.

1.10.163 was released December 4, 2019. I'm surprised the previous copy runs.

A lot of people are still in the OG version. Plus both the nextgen and AE versions are garbage, not to be pressuring or anything, its your choice after all, but you'd really be doing a lot of people a favor by compiling in OG instead. Its very easy to downgrade and a lot of useful mods are OG exclusive still

I am alss on .163.

I would say the majority of this community might be since these kind of mods seem to work best on it.

But if something is done in .984 my BA2 converter should make it run

Well, might as well  find out.

Thank you for going out of your way to do this. if you do decide to downgrade to OG, you should leave the last version for NG available to download so everybody is square

I am glad you are looking at adding more mods to this community

Your Red Seat mod is both plausible and grounded. :)

I was thinking of getting a GOG version. Tired of not playing a game for a while, getting an itch to play, then finding out that the game was updated and all my mods won't run. I could swear that Steam resets update preferences when they update just like Facebook resets preferences when they update.

You can completely disable steam updates in a not so official but very simple way. That is by setting the appmanifest file that steam has to "write" upon in order to initate updates to "read only" so that it cannot. A small guide on doing so:

1) Go to your drive where fallout 4 is installed from steam

2) Reach the folder steamapps (depends on how steam is installed but its usually steamlibrary -> steamapps)

3) Below the folders you will see appmanifest acf files. Click on appmanifest_377160.acf, right click and choose "properties"

4) On the bottom of the options list you will see an unchecked "read only" option. Make sure to apply and click OK. Check this to disable updates. Uncheck when you feel like updating years later or never.

Note: From this point on, you will need to start your game from the exe file or through the f4se exe file. Alternatively through whatever mod manager you use. For ease, set steam to only update fo4 when launching. Don't worry, it will not be able to update if you did everything above right. By doing this you simply wont see a scheduled update for fo4 every now and then. Even if you dont do this, it is no matter.

Note 2: Steam will still count your play time and achievements even under this state.

I got shock collar on my character through sexual harrasment mod, and now it shocks my character all the time. I'm not a modder, but i guess it might be related to RSS. So

wouldn't it be too much trouble for you to test if shock collar ticks active outside of main quest of the mod?

Has anyone else had any problem trying to get the mod to start via Violate? I get stuck on the x-cross after being defeated but nothing else happens

*nvm, it just takes a while for them to walk to the position
