PAF Fixes and Addons

Due to some native skyrim events and functions that no longer work for Older Skyrim 1.5.97! 

 

PAF Fixes and Addons cannot pertain to support older game versions than 1.6

Due to this I have removed the NoFormFromFile Patch

My apologies to anyone whom I've misled into thinking that NoFormFromFile patch would work for 1.5.97. 

 

If you use the patch and are on game version 1.5.97 and everything works for you well Hunky Dory!

Be advised that the OnPayerLoadGame Event, and various other functions used throughought PFA mod

as stated via  Usep wici no longer are compatible with earlier versions of skyrim than 1.6.

New update Paf Fixes and Addons 2.2.0 is here! 

Fixed a lot of bugs! 

Added a small debuff if pee only and accident. 

Merchants may sell toilet paper,  this script added, works if entering their shop. Outside merch's may not have any.

Added if sick takes a lot more tp to clean yo self. If not enough you don't get clean.

Updated the voice packs for this. Make sure the version match up.

 

Feedback, ideas and advise is always welcome!

I just had to re- upload PFA_VoicePack_Main-v2.2.0, forgot to pack in the updated pex. 

No breaker, it just so it takes the new voice lines. 

It's in now. So you may want to re download it if you using it.

Hi, very cool addition to P&F, thank you for this.

Would you be so kind to explain to me the comment part of your mod? I got almost everything working, but I can't toggle the sextalk marker.

Comment Manager is on, everything else works, but sextalk refuses to be toggled.

I must add, just started a new game with Live Another Life active and haven't finished Unbound quest yet. Maybe that's playing a part...

Had a bit of time to try it out..

The new debuff is nice. Was much needed.
Just a quick suggestion. Would be perfect if it could be a PFA MCM toggle or be tied to the PAF Dirt original MCM toggle. It would make sense to have it disabled in a few cases. And I noticed right now with the way it's applied it probably stays permanently for anyone that doesn't use a bathing mod or uses one that isn't supported. A toggle option would fix this.

 

Was able to test out the "boogaloo" feature. Worked every time as it should so far.. 👍
A possible idea to further use this:
Maybe a hotkey/power to trigger this even without shock spell ?

Just ran into the issue of NPCs not reporting you to the guards at all again..
Think I know the reason now..
 

The "searching for a guard" event happens only if you used the menu (either by using power or using the hotkey for the PAF menu) to start the pee/poop scene. 
They never do so if you use the as PAF called it "action key" to start a scene. If you don't use both pee and poop, but only use one instead, the menu is completely bypassed and the scene starts right after pressing the hotkey. I'm guessing the script relies on the menu being used to start the scene ?

Did you install the correct Comment Manager. The one you need is in the downloads PFA_VoicePack_Main-v2.2.0 is Comment Manager.  

You should not be useing the old 1.0.0 version found on its mod page. You can load the game and enter PFA's MCM and on the right pane

down at bottom the "Check Update/Version". What does it say? If it says Compatible: Comment Manager 2.0.0 found you are good their.

 

If you know you got the right version and you are getting comments, and sextalk wont toggle on.

SexTalk Global probably wasn't found the first time you installed probably due to Comment Manager

first installs with quest shut down. Means oninit didn't fire until it's toggled on. PFA on load asks

Comment manager to fetch the sextalk global and probably got nothing. 

And unfortunately the way I got it right now is PFA will only will check one time.  This is a bug

that will be adressed, so pfa finds it. Its also possible starting new games intro quest not done

can cause this too. either way be looking for and update soon.

Yeah Sorry I was under the impression that if had a pee only accident, that you could use toilet paper to clean.

I guess the toilet paper is only for pooper's like me 😎.

I can add a timer option to use, can set a timer so it can stop. Zero it to dispel and shut it down..

I just made it a light weight speech hit, it shouldn't have dropped to much. If you want something else added with let me know.

 

And since I personally use both pee/poop options I don't even know if pee only accident actually apply dirt. In the script it does

its even noticeable? Because it applies dirt the same as pooping would but as I said just one time as pooping applies multiple time.

 

Good deal about the boogaloo bit, I only tested it with my own (modders)cheat/test spell and not actually being electrocuted.

 

I'll look into the NPC reporting bounty bit. I have it rigged to not tick all the time, and maybe I need to adjust it.

It should tick if detected regardless of menu or the Paf action key, assuming the quick scan actually found an npc

sometimes it don't... PFA uses a funky tracking method that only ticks if in settlement and sometimes looses its handle.

especially if another mod like BodySearch or similar teleports the player into the settlement location. Or Fast traveled into..

If it seems stuck or not tracking, sleeping, going through loading doors, load Game, Paffing should kickstart it back.

 

If your looking for an actual animated scene were the npc actually walks off calling for a guard?

This isn't set up for that to happen, as that would require Ai package and probably a an entire quest and dialogue created.

I'm too lazy to set all that up so PFA only gives a message notification and possible bounty.

 

Couple of questions:

1. Do you use the Shits option,  I assume you do not if you use pee only.

2.  In spite of the action key not triggering NPC tattle for you,(It should), does it still work as intended to relieve?

 

Edit: I found the culprit, fixed... I hope. look for in the next update. Soon!

   Action key if pressed wasn't passing a pee only bool. So it was peeing, but also going into the poop function to

    look for npc tattle...wasn't finding it because poop function would instantly return due to pee only.

   With the pee only bool passed in skips the poop function and checks NPC tattle(RelievingMySelf function).

Honestly I actually didn't take toilet paper into consideration at all.. 😅 Having never used the poop parts of the mod outside of bits of testing, it didn't even cross my mind that it could be used like this and had this effect. Tried it now and it seems to work and this could actually be good as is.. Would make the toilet paper useful to players using only using pee functions too. 

 

- As for the dirt appearance. Can't really see any dirt being applied on leak. At least nothing that would be anyhow visible. Must be a really think barely visible effect of some sorts.

 

As for the debuff.. I actually went fiddling with locks around here the debuff spell in xEdit and customized it a little for myself. I changed the magnitude to 1 (2 or 3 works well too) and changed the description to refer minor smell instead. Much like the dirt "debuff" (or rather buff) if you dont have TP after poop. That feels like the most universal solution as your character could be wearing skirts, dresses or whatever else that isn't a pair of pants.. With a stronger debuff - you could change clothes and it would then make a lot less sense unlike with poop... (for obvious reasons 😂) This way the accident is still "acknowledged" and you still have some sort of debuff and a reason for a bath with soap/clean up etc... Knowing now the toilet paper works for cleaning, this actually works alright.

 

On the other hand that timed debuff could be fitting too, if it's short especially. If so, what kind of effect for it do you have in mind ?

 

- NPC detect. I did this test in a crowded inn and tried triggering scenes that should cause bounty several times with action key and then several times through menu. Also went outside and inside, waited some time. Then I'd also randomly try once/twice with menu, then without..  I can say it worked as I described each time reliably. Menu - Track, Action key - never. I actually never really paid attention to whether they walked to a guard or not. Not really expecting them to. Could actually be quite a headache with AI affecting mods if it worked like that 😅 I really just noticed that when I used action button none of the accompanying notification of NPCs spotting you would show up nor would you get any bounty. You could literally paf infront of guards. 

The questions:

1. Going full pee only, so haven't really used it.
2. Relieving works as intended its just the NPC reaction + bounty not happening at all.

The bounties actually work correctly for companions including the accident toggle. Works perfectly. Its really just when the player uses the action button instead of choosing "pee" from the menu it seems to not fire up.

Okay, I'm starting a new game without your mod and will play right up to BFB. Then I will install and see where this is going.

PFA version 2.2.2 should have fixed the buggy 2.2.0 Check Version thingy.

If first install or new game you must sleep first before it will be found! 

If you got comments and able to toggle sextalk on then your good to go!

Maybe I am just stupid and can't see it...

Theirs only the modifier you can set to how many food/Beverage items can be consumed

before a 2 hour cooldown. Setting it to zero should shut it off. I'll take a look at it see.

 

Edit: I can see that it wasn't. It will be fixed next update.

Well I have an updated 3.0.0, but can't seem to upload.

Keep getting 200 ok unknown error halfway in the upload.

IDk maybe the file two big. 230 mg , I thought 250 mg was allowed.

It finaly took.

Updated PFA 3.0.0 and PAf_VoicePack_Main 3.0.0

Added MCM options to play idle if taking shock damage and forcefully relieving. Idle only works if weapon not drawn.

Added sexing option for jealous followers.

Fixed setting the Increment option to zero will shut off increasing paf states if eating or drinking.

Fixed broken conditions in the Fart blunder. Followers should say their lines now. 

Lowered the magnitude for the pee only debuff. 

Fixed a few other things that don't come to mind!

Hi.  I'm a dumbshit.  If you have BEES this will work on 1.5.97.  Probably the entire mod.

If you're on 1.5.97 and stubborn like me, get Backported Extended ESL Support of Nexus.  Then you and your followers can eat some moldy scrib meat and piss and shit on each other to your hearts' content, like some fucked up game of paintball.

Oh heck! I forgot all about that mod. LOL I have installed myself and forgot I even had it.

Pretty sure any SE game v 1.6.40 and under should have it installed for a slew reasons.

Not sure if it's my bizarre soup of mods again, but now after following instructions, the Needs The Toilet voice lines are missing. When wetting, it works, but specifically not the desperate stage.

To be honest I had BEES back when I tested on 1.5.97 and it didn't make a difference for me.
Though I wonder if some other papyrus changing mods or plugins could've interfered with that..

Um! are you still having issues with needs toilet. Is it just that? Other comments working as usual?

Wetting works, but they quit nagging. Strange! It's probably something I tinkered with. I will take a look.

 

You realy want a Hotkety opt to force relieve, you mean the same as when happens when shocked?

that runs a completely different and new function I had made and added. Not sure why you want it,

Regular good ol paffing from pee and fart is better. LOl but I suppose I can. I already have  spell for

it in my test jig, I'd have to see on setting a Key though I never set one up before.

Are you getting Sub titles, and just no voice ? Or is the lines simply not playing at all?

 

Also did you re-create lists in the Comment Manager MCM. If I added new lines the list would need re created
