Just Business More Slavers

This file is an addition for the excellent Just Business mod here on Lovers Lab.  What it does is make certain vanilla NPCs from the game into slave merchants using the same slave selling quest that's in Just Business.

 

Requirements

Fallout 4

Nuka World

Far Harbor

Just Business and whatever Just Business requires

 

How Does It Work?

The same way you'd sell slaves with the main mod.  If you don't know how that works, then I recommend you read this excellent guide by @SlaveHunter311.

I've also posted up a pdf document of how I made the mod in the Creation Kit, but it's probably easier to look at it in xEdit and add more people there if you're so inclined.

 

I usually play as either a good or amoral character who only takes raiders and gunners as prisoners.  The new slavers I added are mostly already vendors, some of whom have a good reason to hate raiders, or have some other need for fighters/weapons testing/synth testing/whatever.

 

Why?

You now have some way to offload your excess slaves and make some caps right from the beginning of the game.  Also, if you're like me and run Depravity by Thuggysmurf, there's a conflict with the Auction House mod.

 

Optional

2024-February-08 - I'm adding an optional version/patch to work with The Auction House (BETA 1.3.4a version) that will obviously require The Auction House.  I don't use that mod so can't really support it, but you would add Just Business and it's requirements, The Auction House, and then my Auction House version of this mod.  You would only need one version of my plugin or the other, not both.  Should let you sell to the vanilla vendors I added and still sell to the vendors added by The Auction House.

 

One More (OK Two More) Things

There are no scripts in this mod, it just adds conditions to the original quest in Just Business.  It's also flagged as an esl file, so it won't count against your 255 plugin limit.  Just install your prerequisites, then install this with your mod manager, and start selling.

Hi, thanks for the mod.

BUT....as far as i can see you can either use Your mod, or The Auction House, not both at the same time.

I'm using The Auction House and Depravity at the same time and have not seen any conflict so far. Could you explain, what conflict you are talking about.

Other than that i could probably just make a patch in FO4Edit to be able to use both, i guess

Auction House and Depravity both make use of the same door/elevator on the upstairs floor of the Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor.

 

If you're handy with xEdit, you could probably (?) copy my mod into the plugin for Auction House.  However, I've never tried it, and can't support that.

That was some useful information about the elevator.....fuck....haven't seen that...thanks

 

I will not copy your mod into the auction house mod, but will make a patch file, which will be ESL flagged as well, so it doesn't matter....

 

And then i have to find a solution for that stupid elevator.....

This add-on might not even exist if it weren't for your excellent guides that helped me get the most out of Just Business!!!  You deserve a lot of the credit for your inspiration and education.

Hi I have an issue with this mod: no matter what I do new NPCs don't have an option to sell slaves. Same thing happened when I tried the Auction House. Only Nuka World Bosses have an option to sell slaves. I already checked XDI and other required mods but couldn't find anything.

Do you mean you want them to sell slaves to you?  That's not part of this mod.

 

If you mean sell slaves to them, did you read this guide ?

I meant sell slaves to them and yes I did read this great guide, tried step by step with every NPC listed (outside Far Harbour cause I haven't reached it yet) the only ones I can sell slaves to are NW bosses.

There's only two things I can think of, since both mods work for me and no one else has brought up this issue.

 

1 - You have a mod conflict that is somehow interfering with the quest.  You'd have to figure that out using FO4Edit or something.

 

2 - More likely, an installation issue - it sounds like the plugin isn't even activated.  How are you installing mods?  Are you sure my plugin and/or Auction House are not only enabled, but also active in your load order?  Either one would  need to be active and come after the original Just Business in the load order.

 

I don't use Vortex so can't help too much with that, but if you do, is my mod deployed and the esp activated?  Do you need to create a rule so Just Business loads before mine?

 

If you use MO2, are both Just Business and my mod checked in the left pane, and also both checked in the right pane, with my mod after JB?

just checked with FO4Edit and no conflicts there. Both Vortex and ingame it shows all the plugins are activated and both mods deployed. Still poking around with the load order but no luck so far...
