SexLab Hormones (January 2025)

I'm not quite sure what you're saying, Salt. My game runs fine without Hormones installed.... the problem is that I want it to run *with* hormones installed.

I don't have StorageUtil installed; I had installed PapyrusUtil 1.9 at first, but have since removed it when skyrimll said that the 1.8 version that comes with SexLab should work fine. Unfortunately, I have the same crash either way.

Great mod. Encountering some issues. Crash to Desktop when hormones is installed. Running FNIS 4.1.1, Sexlab 1.35, Racemenu 2.1.5, Arousal_v20140122, and Hormones 0.5 (All the latest versions that I can tell). Papyrus log below.

Many of those errors come in as a result of Live another Life, pre-start selection. Same crash issues happen when updating an old save/clean save/new save.

Regularly get crashes around Hormones, do not crash with Hormones 0.5 uninstalled. Can you please help debug the issue?

Great mod. Encountering some issues. Crash to Desktop when hormones is installed. Running FNIS 4.1.1, Sexlab 1.35, Racemenu 2.1.5, Arousal_v20140122, and Hormones 0.5 (All the latest versions that I can tell). Papyrus log below.

Many of those errors come in as a result of Live another Life, pre-start selection. Same crash issues happen when updating an old save/clean save/new save.

Regularly get crashes around Hormones, do not crash with Hormones 0.5 uninstalled. Can you please help debug the issue?

See my question above - are you getting crashes on load only? or crashes while playing after a while?

In my case, yeah the crash happens a few seconds after either loading a game, or a few seconds after coming out of character creation if I"m making a new char. It's different from any previous CTD I've seen in Skyrim, which usually happens during the loading screen (sometimes juuuust when it seems the loading screen is about to end). In the case of the current crashes with Hormones, I fully load into the game, can see my character, and can even move about a bit if I want... but then the game CTDs.

I think delaying the update might just help, and I'd love to test it.

I moved around the call to the function that updates the shape so that it is triggered during timed updates and not just after loading.

I suspect it was firing up too quickly - before the player had any geometry loaded in the game.

I have to head out for a few hours so I don't have time to package this test right now but I will upload the change when I return.

Yes my issue is the same as Ashra XIII. Crashing shortly after loading the game or exiting character creation. Roughly 2-6 seconds afterword. Long enough for the game to properly(as best I can tell) load and initialize mods, am able to operate my character for the few seconds after loading.

I had to deinstall NetImmerse Override SKSE plugin, unless then even with deactivated Sexlab Hormones every character was blue during creation when starting a new game.

So the plugin seems to somehow store the blue skin overlay.

I'll wait for the update, but if someone wants to test it might be worth a try to start a new game with deactivated Hormones and deinstalled Netimmerse Plugin, save after you chose your Another Life start and have adjusted the other mods and then load Hormones.

Looking forward to the update, but take your time SkyrimLL .

The modlogo looks great btw.

Do you plan to distinguish between consensual sex and rape in future versions? I think getting raped shouldn't make you more sexy while there could be some special boost if you rape someone while in succubus mode. Voluntary SD+ slavery should not count as rape of course.

I though the override plugin was already included in the latest version of Racemenu.

I am using it and didn't get that purple skin issue at all.

I only installed the override plugin, but the Racemenu mod looks good, so i'll add that mod to my modlist anyways .

Hopefully the skin issue will be gone with the new update, seems a rather rare one, at least nobody else posted such an issue so far. But if it persists don't worry just for me, i'm almost at the stage justifying a new clean skyrim install anyways.

Yep, 0.5a does not have the same crashing issue as 0.5. Good fix Skyrimll. It seems to be working well and can confirm downsizing is working well. Thats about all i've had time to test.

Game has been working fine with the 0.5a version of Hormones installed, much to my relief. Y'know, I almost think every mod should have a configurable delay in their startup, so we can arrange them much like load order. One of the most infuriating things about Skyrim is how it will crash on load, despite there being nothing at all wrong with the save being loaded nor the mods which are installed... it's simply that the game tries to load everything at once, memory gets slammed, and the game throws its proverbial hands up and quits.

Eventually maybe... I have not tinkered with key bindings yet so I will work on that later once the mod is more stable.

I have a request. Is it possible to change the slider for maximum node settings for breast, belly, and butt growth to increment in intervals of 0.1 instead of whole numbers? I have my bodies designed so I can notice the difference between low and high weight NPCs, instead of all of them being almost exactly alike. Changing the max node size by a whole integer is an enormous change that is magnified on high weight settings and just looks ridiculous in my game.

For an example, in Hentai Pregnancy, I have its maximum breast size set to 1.8. The way my bodies are, when they're at 100 weight, the breasts still look natural. However when I use Hormones I'm forced to either use 1, which means no growth beyond the 100 weight setting, or 2, which turns breasts into massive torpedos at even a .5 weight setting. The size differential is just ridiculous when it comes to using both weight settings and node settings. Especially since any change to a node setting gets magnified the higher the weight setting.

Your mod actually worked better for me when it wasn't going all the way up to what the mcm slider said it should have gone up to.

It would be even better if it worked the way the node scaling slider works in racemenu, which lets you move it in increments of .01

Now that i installed the race menu 2.x and .05a my weird blue color is gone, works fine now. Probably would have worked in 0.5 already too with racemenu. So doublewin for me, since this way i discovered the racemenu mod too which i somehow totally overlooked .

Already fixed in the next version

I made it more compatible with other body changes mods like pregnancy mods. It will be possible to set max sliders to values similar to what these mods allow and increments will be changed to 0.1 for fine tuning.

Hmmmmmm maybe you could add an option to also make oral sex only count like 1/5 for female characters. This would make the chastity belts a succubus's most feared item . She would be forced to constant sucking to avoid sex starvation and the chastity belt would be a potentially life threatening device.

Isnt there supposed to be a max to how much this can affect your character ?

By now my characters breasts are about 4 times bigger than they started out as and I havent even focused on oral sex (which I understood to be what is increasing breast size).

So I'm not crashing on startup anymore, but I've been playing a bit of Skyrim this morning, and have seen 2 CTDs. They aren't super frequent, but still very annoying.

Both times I've crashed, I checked Papyrus and, sure enough, Hormones was updating. As well, I noticed some errors from Hormones in here, so I thought I'd post a snippet from my Papyrus log. What's going on (if it isn't obvious from reading) is that my little Succubus just rolled into Whiterun, and is whoring herself a bit. The CTD that happened previous to this one occurred in the wilderness, where I was just running around (trying to get to Whiterun) with no sexiness involved.
