@pharaox you get asked about the CD a lot I think if you changed "Only Stress effects will be reduced if you have used a similar interaction in the last 12 months." to

"Disabling the block unlocks sex possibly resulting in pregnancy and other effects each time you fuck. Note; stress loss is still once per year max". I think that'd be a lot clearer for end users. Tho I admit it could just be me being that dumb who couldn't work it out.

Thanks, really enjoyed your graphic! 🙂 Point taken, will rephrase it in the next version. I somehow assumed most players are familiar with the Carnalitas CD rule (I set it all the time), so yes, I referred to it without thinking much.

So previously I could set the game rules to no cooldown and have as many interactions as I wanted with the same character, that no longer works.

I've read this thread and the readme and I'm so confused. Readme says 12 month cooldown on interactions, cant be changed. This thread says there's a new game rule, and reading the rule info leads me to believe that maybe it can be changed?

 

I saw someone ask about why there's a 1 year cd now, and your response was :"I introduced the new cooldown because I introduced a new game rule to disable blocking the sex interaction effects if the cooldown is disabled."

I've read that 10 times now and I can't for the life of me understand it, can you clarify perhaps?

 

I guess what Im trying to understand is if the cooldown on interactions with the same character is locked to 1 year no matter what rule setting is chosen?

If that's the case I hope you will consider opening it up to how it worked before.

Then using those settings takes the effects off cooldown, but keeps the cd for interacting at 12 months for the same target?

 

If that's not the case, I probably have an issue somewhere.

I believe that is the case. and I do also recall it being different. Used to be able to bang your stress away on the daily.

Thanks for your feedback! Before, you could:

* Accept the cooldown of 12 months, no sex at all in this case during the cooldown.

* Disable the cooldown via the "No Cooldown" option of the "Make Love" game rule, and have sex as much as you wanted with the same or a different character, but with all effects blocked, so just enjoying graphics.

 

Now, if you disable the cooldown, you can use the new CLR game rule "No Cooldown Effects Blocked" (I admit the naming could be improved) to:

* Keep the old behavior above (the default)

* Enable the normal sex effects during the cooldown, except for stress loss or gain, which is much reduced (usually to 0) compared to outside of the cooldown.

 

Still, if you are lustful, rakish, etc., you may still lose some stress. To prevent you from losing infinite stress in this case by repeatedly having sex with the same character, I added a "character cooldown" for the interaction. I didn't make this cooldown dependent on the above game rule, and perhaps I should have. I will revisit this in the next version.

Thanks for the awesome mod ! I use the latest version of this mod and carnalitas with cbo unofficial and I get positive opinion on small penis (icon is green also) despite having the correct rules in carnalitas game rules. I have that with only carnalitas, cbo and clr on my load order. Is this intended ? Screenshots attached.

It does work, but there was an additional cooldown that prevents you from having sex with the same character if you had sex with them in the last year.

 

This cooldown is intended to prevent you from losing unlimited stress by having sex with the same character if you set the CLR game rule Make Love No Cooldown Effects Blocked to Disabled (it's enabled by default). However, the cooldown was always set, no matter if you touched the above game rule or not.

 

This is fixed in the last version I just uploaded (0.9.0).

In the ruler designer you will see both traits (positive and negative ones). The game rules don't apply there. In game, half of the traits will never appear, based on the game rules. This is how Carnalitas works, not touched by this mod.

 

So if you don't want positive opinion on small penis, simply don't choose the trait in the ruler designer.

It's not released yet even though the code changes have been merged, see the Carnalitas discord. I will ping Cheri today again. The changes from 2.10 to 2.11 are rather minor (since 1.17 is also a rather minor patch), so you can continue playing with 2.10. I only mentioned 2.11 to avoid modifying the description when it's out.

They are supported since quite some time. Look for "Carnal Court Make Love" and "Carnal Court Demand Sex" in the list of available interactions for a character. Intentionally, these are separate interactions since they don't support some of the options "Make Love" and "Demand Sex" have.

...but, it is just me or NPC never uses demand sex interaction VIA hooks ???

 

I have been testing for a while and there is no way that the IA uses hooks to demand sex at all ..

 

And it can not be used because it was set so... that only the player can use the demand sex interaction.

 

It is okay if because whatever reason .. they want it like that.. but please, is there any way to change it so I can change the mod where any character can use the hooks on the hooked characters?

The CLR mod interactions (and the Carnalitas interactions they replace) are player-only. They can't be used by AI, with or without hooks, and it doesn't make much sense to enable them. See also the mod description and README regarding its goals and limitations.

I am looking forward to updates. The images of treasures are being overwritten—could it be a mod conflict? Also, the rule for no cooldown in making love is not working.

The mod is not yet updated to CK3 1.18. As you can also see in the description, the latest released version is for 1.17. This update is much larger than the previous ones, so unfortunately I wasn't able to update all my mods yet (I have 6-7 in total). Carnalitas itself is not yet officially updated either, although there is a test version in Discord. I think it will take 2-3 more days to have both Carnalitas released and my mods based on it updated.
