lol fine call it a beta, here's what I have so far. If possible I would like to change the arms and maybe add bigger hands but I cant get the nails to weight like i want. Also, and I might need Shaydow's help for it, I would like to maybe make the standing idle still somewhat more crouched or change the posture somehow to be more like the original werewolf, not just when its in attack mode. I don't know enough about editing skeletons or animations though. It should have brown textures for the werewolf body for some reason in the preview pane they look white. Anyway, enjoy, ill upload any changes I make and if you have any suggestions i'll listen but no promises ;-p

Oh and I almost forgot, there is HDT for butt and breasts, so keep that in mind if you are experiencing any CTD

Its actualy amazing work. The animation doesnt seem to look to glitchy. Save for the khajiit fur not behing realy uniform in color the whole thing seems to quite well mix togueter.

 

If thats not intended i subjest you switch the blue werewolf eyes to a yellowish version to better express that inner beast feeling. Maybe use some eyes based on the vampire ones from dawnguard or modify a base eye to a glowy in night yellow. Having participated in making a few oblivion mode based around werewolves (curse of hircine expension) i think strongly that a werewolf regardless of its form should expose some sign of lycantropy in its gaze especialy on eve of a full moon night or once transformed. That crystal blue eye color just doesnt work.

yea wasnt sure what to pick, Ill probably go back and make it yellow. I also want to see if there is anyway to separate the makes from the females so that the skeleton doesnt cause the males to looks ridiculous like they do atm.

also it seems the sexlab werewolf works VERY poorly with this mode because it turns the player into the male werewolf everytime for the ''BLEEP'' animation. Therefore we have a male werewolf skin on a female human model clipping the hell out :P

yea wish I knew how to work with skeletons, I was thinking I could probably use the UNPB body and move it to be in line with the werewolf skeleton somehow to make it easier to mesh with those mods, but yea all my experimenting has been pretty unsuccessful so far.

First of all, thank you very much Shawdoy for creating this mod. This has made me finally go the way of the werewolf XD

 

So, on to my actual question.

 

My problem is that whenever my werewolf does a kill move, the limbs stretch crazily, turning into noodle-like things throughout the entire killmove animation.

 

From a quick glance of the animation folder, it does not seem like it has any killmove animations built into them. I am running the VioLens and so I assume the animations are coming from that mod, which would explain the crazy stretching.

 

Would there be a way to have my cake and eat it? (i.e; modify files such that I can still have my werewolf killmoves while having all my limbs remain proportional?)

You just have to find wherever the kill move animations that are triggering are located and replace them with vanilla killmoves.

I took a look at the VioLens mod, and it's purely scripts. I think that the killmoves that are causing the stretching are indeed vanilla werewolf killmoves. My suspicion/hypothesis is that the reason the arms are stretching are to match the length of an actual werewolf(since the arms of a human female are most definitely shorter than that of a werewolf's XD), which might have something to do with skeletons? My knowledge runs out and leaves me empty.

:/ that mod whould be great... but it dosent work for me... everytimes when i transform into a Werewolf my Game crashes to Desktop :( ... ive tryed many.. i deinstalled all Werwolf mods ive installed completley, but nothing happned. I deleted custom skeletons, Hkx's and things like this.. but nothing helpes. The only thing ive installed are the Creature-Framework, and Sexlab nude creatures (but ive deactivated Werewolfes.)

Conflikt your Mod maybe with RaceMenu? :o .. this whould be the last thing ive can imaginate ... 

 

ill hope you can help .. and sorry for my poor English. Its not my best Language.^^

Perhaps you could try copying some unarmed kill moves and overwriting the werewolf moves with them? I noticed the same thing whenever I did a werewolf kill move and it's part of what turned me away from using werewolf form even with this mod installed.

ok i'm having an issue!! i just installed this mod, i use MO not NMM for obvious benefits of keeping my install directory clean. I immediately wanted to test the transformation so i added the beast transformation to my spell list via console command and THIS is what happened!

 

i AM using the Lunari race with XPMS extended with UNP TBBP BBP body skeletons. The breasts seem to be the only thing in tact after the transformation :/

 

am i doing something wrong with the installation? install the core components obviously then copy over the files i want through the options of ear and tail types. It can't get much simpler than that obviously. So am i doing something WRONG?

The issue looks as though you somehow do not have the skeleton / behavior from my mod installed, OR, you have another mod that effects werewolves and it is overwriting the skeleton and behavior changes from this mod.

Do you know if it would have anything to do with a bestiality mod? I have a quite a few of those...

Alright so for me I fixed it by re installing every animal altering mod (bestiality) and selected no when asking to overwrite.

I want to try out other werewolf mods so I uninstalled this one following the instructions on the readme, however the fur texture remains white and the animations haven't reverted to the original werewolf ones. How can I make this happen? I suppose I should've done a backup of sorts but I didn't and wouldn't want to go as far as uninstall the game, redownload it, clean it and mod it just for this. 

Is there a more practical alternative? The fur texture isn't really an issue as there are plenty of mods that change it so I can use them to replace the white - but the animation really bothers me

well this is akward it just so happens that my nexus mod manager fu*** me and didn't activate the mod -.-" its working now xD

Hey! First at all i love your mod. That was the mod why i started playing as a werewolf. I have only one problem and i hope you can help me figure this out.

I am using a custom teeth mesh with fangs. But when i transform the mouth is empty.

if you could give me instructions how to fix it i would be happy. Its still playable but with those fangs it would be awesome.

i have small issue ,the face is fat then original character when in beast form , but seems morph's still working

 

i tryed replace femalehead.nif and all femalehead.tri but still same, using racemenu's femaleheadchargen.tri was worst effect

 

i use Racemenu 3.2.1 version , any :idea:  how to fix it?

Thx for the mod pal, I've been looking for this mod.

 

Hi, looks very good, I want to try it, but I have a question, because I'm a noob. I have a male and a female pc werewolves (in fact the male is my current "main" pc, thats why I bother you). I think skyrim's werewolf do not care about male or female pc, so if I install your mod, the new female animations will also be used if I play with the male pc? If so, there is a easy way to avoid this to happen? like for example, move/delete the animations your mod provides, each time I want to play with the male pc (I'm a noob and this is just the first thing I think of) or something else. (I have FNIS, and don't want to use the option of "specific gender animations", because other mods I have does not properly work with this patch.)
 
Other minor question, I have the vanilla textures (skyrim's usual textures, I haven't the folder /textures/.../werewolves) for werewolves and I want to keep it that way for now, which files should I put in /textures/.../werewolves/ and which ones not?

Yeah me too, when I see a male werewolf (as either PC or NPC) it's still use the female animations.

 

Figured out an easy fix for Enhanced Character Edit (ECE) users! Easy picture tutorial and ready .esp attached. This method should keep your face just as it was but you will not be able to use the furry face option. For the furry option you'd have to create a new head entry in Creation Kit and I cba make tutorial for that.

 

Hope this helps others who like ECE as much as I do
