Usually if FNIS gives a warning about mods that are incompatible with your Skyrim Version it only cares if the animation files work and not if: "when all the mods i downloaded should be compatible". Means you installed LE animations. There are 4 Skyrim versions: Skyrim LE, SE, AE, VR It seems you use AE, which is based on SE Edited June 5, 2023 by donttouchmethere
Niki69 Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 here are the pic of my mod manager/mods and the fnis errors (also my game crashes on startup) he
travelmedic Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 For starters you're using FNIS 32 bit for Oldrim, or Skyrim Legendary Edition. Find and install the proper FNIS for Anniversary Edition.

travelmedic Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 1 hour ago, Niki69 said: you are wrong on that i use the special edition version cause i can't find anniversary edition Go look at your own picture that you posted of your FNIS window. The top line, it says "Generate FNIS for users (Skyrim 32 bit)". Skyrim SE/AE is 64 bit. Right under the top line in the photo it posts links for FNIS pages on Nexus. Notice that all links start with "www.nexusmods/skyrim/mod/..." so they're linking to Skyrim LE pages. The links for Skyrim SE on Nexus would be "www.nexusmods/skyrimspecialedition/mods/..." Same thing for the optional patches at the bottom of the picture. 1
Miauzi Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 if there are so many red messages in the mod manager ... how about installing a working base version of AE first??? FNIS is currently NOT their problem - but the proverbial "cabbage and turnip" salad of their other mods. that it crashes on startup ... no wonder ... there seem to be several mods faulty at once
donttouchmethere Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 (edited) well, that hurts ?♂️ Just to show how FNIS 64 would look like: Edited June 5, 2023 by donttouchmethere

The heart with question mark symbol means the OP has not endorsed that mod yet. The red type in the column under "Version" may mean the OP downloaded the mods manually and instead of a version number MO2 instead writes in the date they were installed. OP, what would be helpful if your game crashes on startup is this: 1 - In your right pane or right window of Mod Organizer, click on the "Plugins" tab 2 - Post pictures of all of the content in the right window, scroll down if needed. What we're looking for is the triangle symbol with a red border and "!" in the middle of it, that might help show where the problem(s) is or are (besides your FNIS)
Niki69 Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 i really don't know where to download that se version with 64 bit, i downloaded this file so where is the 64 bit se file then???

Easiest way would be just to uninstall all the FNIS related files and try again. The mod zip should be: FNIS Behavior SE 7_6-3038-7-6-1582048023.zip

donttouchmethere Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 20 minutes ago, Niki69 said: yes that is the file i use that's the one you added to MO hopefully 21 minutes ago, Niki69 said: it still say skyrim 32bit either you have linked the wrong FNIS version in MO from LE or you installed FNIS LE manually and it's now in the skyrim directory and you also linked FNIS 32bit to MO or if you have also LE installed and start FNIS from your desktop because you are used to that because of NMM you start the wrong FNIS version Only way to make sure is to start FNIS from MO (also because you want the FNIS files generated there). Before you get totally lost I recommend this guide to install FNIS with MO for SE/AE correctly:
donttouchmethere Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 My guess is (correct me if I'm wrong): You have LE installed and still use NMM with it > means you are used to start FNIS from desktop icon You installed SE/AE and want to use MO with it > you need to use FNIS via MO, but instead you still use the FNIS desktop icon that is linked to FNIS in the Skyrim LE folder
Niki69 Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 Well it seems the problem was with the mod organizer it couldn't open the 64bit se version just the normal nexus mod manager works fine with it just setting up all the other mods hope they work there too
Well - you can still use a mod manager - which is NOT recommended by Nexus itself. From all your posts so far - I understand that you are looking for a quick solution to your "problem". Well - let me be clear ... this "quick fix" does not exist. You have a very long road ahead of you ... the first step of which is to understand ... that you actually know NOTHING about using mods for Skyrim. And thus are not even able to comprehend ... all the knowledge they lack. They have received lots of tips from very experienced mod users here ... but obviously they are not able to follow them.
travelmedic Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Are you using Mod Organizer or Mod Organizer 2? I'm not sure if Mod Organizer 1 supports 64 bit games, but Mod Organizer 2 does, and it's what I use. You should be able to find Mod Organizer 2 on Nexus, although maybe an outdated version. There is (or was) a link to a Github or some other site with the latest version though. I started out with NMM before switching to MO2 and I'll never go back. You could also consider Vortex.
"Vortex" has the advantage for beginners that the "automatic" takes many of the necessary decisions away from them - this makes the required learning curve much flatter. With quite simple mod combinations this works perfectly - and from my point of view it would also work with the few mods he has TE. But of course "Vortex" also has its problems ... but if you are actually at the beginning and only have a little time to learn the necessary knowledge ... "Vortex" would be preferable to "MO2".

Niki69 Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 Well it was the mod manager with nexus everything works fine also thankjs for trying to help me

travelmedic Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 1 hour ago, donttouchmethere said: I hate to say it, but: I told you so! ? My only experience with Vortex is watching a couple of Gopher's tutorials on youtube, and while I really like MO2, I would say that both of them are much better and gives users far more control than NMM. The most important thing is to take the time to learn the tools properly, whichever one you use.
