Just wanted to mention that I finally got it working. On another note, are there any animations that are meant to play when a struggle starts? I keep finding that characters are just standing together when a struggle is happening, mainly with the player involved.

There are currently no struggle animations. I would have liked to have some, but I don't have the ability to create them. If you know where to find animations that could be suitable and usable by FNV, please let me know and I'll add them.

So, idea of actually animated struggle did click for me, so I decided to try making animations for it.

Here's first simple attempt, human against human - it's very far from perfect as I'm amateur animator, but also doesn't look eye-bleeding to me.

I tested it in-game as sexout animation sequence, so I'm not sure how exactly it could be implemented to Struggle.

 

Here's files. If it turns out to work well ingame, I can make some more anims (variations, creatures etc.).

Honestly, I'm not picky, and I think it's much better than nothing. I agree, let's wait until I implement it before going any further. 👍

Once again, nice work!

I really like the ghoul animation. I think I could find a way to fix the small glitch with the left arm by manually adjusting the position of the actors.
As for improving the human/human animation, I think it would be more realistic for the victim to try to use her/his left arm to break free from  the aggressor.

 

These are minor suggestions. In any case, these animations will be implemented with or without these improvements cause I really prefer these animations to no animations at all.

I don't know if it's this or SexAssault2 causing it, but when the animation plays, it doesn't go into Freecam like Sexout normally does. It's just fixed in place.

Having no access to Sexout Freecam is caused by SexoutStruggle when using the “Enable Struggle when raping” MCM option. This behavior is normal.

Can you allow the keybinds to be changed for struggle. I hate how it's QWAD to fight off stalkers I like to change it to my arrow keys.

I don't see why QWAD would be good keys for movement but bad keys for struggling.

The idea is that the struggling keys correspond to the movement controls keys. Furthermore, this makes it harder to react instinctively when you're caught off guard, but easier when you're on your guard.

It should as struggle keys are based on mouvement/action keys.

Depending option, SexoutStruggle use the following keys:

LEFT

RIGHT

FORWARD

BACKWARD

ATTACK

AIM/BLOCK

 

Meaning that if you change your controller keys, it will also change the Struggle keys

Hey im running into a problem where struggle works but sex acts ends immediately.

Hi. I'm having a problem where struggle scenes work fine. Though I haven't figured out how to struggle effectively yet but that's beside the point. Anyway it all works well but after the scene ends I'm stuck and can't move. I keeps happening after every scene now and I need to load a previous save. I was wondering if anyone has had the issue or if it's a mod conflict. 

 

Edit. Might actually be another mod. Gonna try the fix suggested the next time I open the game and report back here if it persists in case it's something that can also happen with this mod. 

 

Edit. I'm aware of the Ctrl+GO command but it didn't work. So I'm guessing it's not this mod causing the issue. Testing is still in progress.

That reminds me of an old bug that was fixed in version 2.0.3:

 

V2.0.3 December 09 2025 Release

- Fixed StruggleFctPreRapeOnClassicStruggle and StruggleFctPreRapeOnPureStruggle losing the struggle instantly when Player is assaillant and option reflex is enabled

 

 

If you already use V2.0.3, please send your Struglle_Log.txt when you observe this problem

If you use SexAssault 2, it caused by ‘Rape in Turn’ and ‘No Public Rape’ option.  You need to keep ‘Rape in Turn’ and ‘No Public Rape’ [OFF] until I fix it.
If you saved your game while restrained, you will remain restrained even if you disable SexAssault or Struggle.
The only solution is to open the console and type:
PlayerREF.SetRestrained 0

 

You may need to disable SexoutStrugle and SexAssault first

Hey - I'm using this, it does seem to load in fine and everything - but I can't for the life of me work out the actual buttons you're supposed to press in order to struggle? 

I mean, I'm hitting the arrow keys, WASD, clicking.... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? (Or not doing right?!)

The struggle keys depend on the type of struggle you choose.

Try something simple:
Choose to use ‘Classic Struggle’
Keep the ‘hardcore’ option [OFF]
Keep the ‘Toggle Struggle Keys’ option [OFF]

 

This way, the struggle keys to use will be LEFT & RIGHT (i.e., the keys that let you step to the left or right)

You must alternate between LEFT and RIGHT, because pressing the same key (only LEFT or only RIGHT) will prevent your struggle bar from increasing.

 

 

Struggling is more difficult if
- your “Strength” stat is lower than your opponent's (the greater the difference, the harder/easier it is)

- you play female character and your opponent is male
- your health percentage is lower than your opponent's (the greater the difference, the harder/easier it is)
- your opponent has allies nearby (The more of them there are, the harder it is)
- you're using the Stamina mod and you're exhausted (The more exhausted you are, the harder it is)

 

So it’s possible that your conditions are so unfavorable that your struggle bar can’t increase. So try to have full health, make sure you’re facing only one opponent, and try to boost your strength with consumables.

Thanks! Didn't realize that was the issue. Changed the settings and I hope it's fixed now.
