Radiant Prostitiution or The Ancient Profession ?

I thought about using a prostitution mod but I'm not sure which one to use Radiant Prostitution or The Ancient Profession?

Whats your opinion?

Which one do you prefer and why?

in my experience with both, RP is only good for making lots of gold fast like 20k a client set. so ancient professions better gameplay wise.

I would add that in Ancient Profession, in order to be a whore, in some locations, you have to perform mini quests to get a prostitution licence, which RP does not have

Licences can be found in all big cities. They allow you to work in the various inns and, in Dibella's Gardens , located in various parts of Skyrim  . It also contains a quest to become a Succubus .

EDIT

If, SLSF , does not increase Fama-Whore with Ancient Profession, read here   SexlabSexualFame , fame whore don't work? Solved

Thank's to @Gristle for solution

You can use both together, although it wouldn't make sense thematically, since AP requires licenses first, while RP is just talk with the innkeeper and you're good to go. I prefer AP because the quests are pretty well done, have multiple choices that matters to the outcome, and it's not only about sex, but there is also some really well written dialogue that makes the characters real and immersive.

well guess I'll play devil's advocate seeing as I use radiant prostitution and have never used ancient profession (because it hasn't even reached 1.0 at the time of writing maybe if it ever gets completed I'll give it a spin)

main benefits of radiant prostitution

a FINISHED mod

configurable money gain as quick or slow as you want

supports both male and female players (be a prostitute or a giggolo)

configurable working clothes

whoring not being legal just makes more sense

dialogue is not really important for playing the slutty whore characters that I play

as for being a succubus or incubus I use player succubus quest alongside succubus skill loss (which has a psq addon) and whorecraft (for onscreen sexchievements)

my characters can level up through sex alone (level 50+ in a couple gangbangs) works great with the Experience mod from nexus

Author of TAP here. Not here to debate your comparison points. I think there's plenty of room for both mods for people to select to their taste.

But I do want to address the "hasn't reached 1.0" thing. The only real reason I've never put it to 1.0 is that the big quest lines are still works in progress. But the prostitution systems are definitely fleshed out enough to play with, and I put in some effort to make sure you can upgrade to new releases without starting a new game.

I've actually considered just going to release numbers instead for exactly the reason that I think people get the wrong impression with that 0 on the front that the mod is buggy or unstable when it isn't. If that's your only reason for not giving TAP a try, I'd say don't let it scare you off.

I use mo2 so setting up a profile for it wouldn't be to hard

Hi, I downloaded TAP as I prefer a bit more story with my sauce and I am stuck trying to get the Riften licence. I have spoken to the innkeeper in the Bee & Barb who told me to speak with the steward, but Anurial has no dialogue options to progress the quest and there is no quest marker.

i tracked down the quest ID and it showed Stage 0 and Stage 10 marked as achieved.

Any thoughts on how I can progress?

Hi, questions about TAP support are best asked on the support thread. I only saw this by chance because I had left this tab open.
