Open the RPO Module 0 package in Sims 4 Studio. You can do this by clicking 'My Projects' on the Sims 4 Studio home screen and then clicking on that package file when it tells you to select a file

 

On the left side of the screen there'll be a table. Use the scrollbar on the bottom of it to scroll to the right so you can see the names of these things (I don't know what they are). Look for the ones that say:

- Relatedness test

- Relatedness test Picked

- Relatedness test rbcstep

- Block Romance for Related and no rom Target To Actor

- Block Romance for related and not allowed actor to target

- Block romance for related and not allowed actor to target and to a t DEPREC

- Reinforced incest prevention on

- Reinforced incest prevention off

 

For each of these, click them, and look at the right side of the window. There'll be a lot of text. Delete everything between <L n="test"> and </L>. It should look like the screenshot I attached. Click save once you're done and it should work

 

 

Again: I'm not a modder, I don't know what I'm doing, this has just been what worked for me. Back-up the original version of the .package file and back up your saves before you do this just in case it breaks anything

Also, on second thought, I don't think you need to do the reinforced incest prevention ones. I thought they were an attempt by the modder to make it harder to enable incest, but they're not. They're for an optional setting that expands the vanilla incest prevention to also cover distant relatives. I didn't realise that when I edited my .package file so I edited mine but you *probably* don't need to edit yours

If anyone has this issue still, i just managed to fix it for myself by setting:

   reinforced_incest_prevention = False

in Lumpinou_RPO_Collection_GlobalSettings.cfg

Can't say I've ever had this problem, even Sims I didn't give the incest trait were doing the deed.  Walked in on the Chopra's one time and they wouldn't stop so in that save file Rahul has his very own brother/son 😄

It's most likely you have the global family incest switch set to enabled in your WW settings then, along with pregnancies enabled.

 

The Chopra family is also homeless by default so you must have moved them into a house unless the game did it.

 

But it is rather fun playing around with different settings and watching what happens.

My player sim got married to his Mom because his Dad died, but no kids yet, lol.

Since he also has the Player Trait he has lots of GFs too.

Disappointing that mods block other mods' features with minimal alerts and no way to disable it without file edits.

Wicked Whims may need a few things switched on that are set to off by default.

 

1) Incest needs to be set to on

2) Teen sex needs to be set to on (otherwise they just Mess Around)

2) If one of the Sims is an adult and the other a teen, the permission for adult/teen relations needs to be switched on

 

No bugs, no one blocking anyone. Just that there's a few options that need to be made active when you start a new game. Save and load preferences are there for a reason.

Sin errores, nadie bloquea a nadie. Sólo que hay algunas opciones que deben activarse cuando comienzas un nuevo juego. Las preferencias de guardar y cargar existen por una razón.

i used to have the same thought, but i realized earlier today that there is actually a way to disable "reinforced incest prevention" within the settings menu of RPO in-game. i think the intention of it actually is to extend incest prevention to step-family, cousins, etc., and i guess doing that ends up also overriding other mods that enable incest. i'm no longer annoyed about it, although i wish it wasn't enabled by default

ALL of Lumpinou's stuff will interfere with the Inappropriate Unlock, and they will ban you from their Discord if you have IA installed.  It's intentional.

god i hate how much people in this community care what other people do in their own game 😭 

 

not to mention that there are reasons to use that mod that aren't actually to play with incest?? like, i often have that glitch where the game adds the "siblings" relationship to my married sims and won't let them do romantic interactions. removing the trait with mccc just makes it come back again the soon anyway. its waaaay easier to just enable incest and ignore it than like. delete one sim and then cheat all their relationships back in

I've been saying for years that EA should just have all the incestuous interactions in the game behind a permanently off toggle so that the reoccurring incest bug feature can be fixed for all the people that don't want it and also because every time it comes back it goes on the news. EA know how to make toggles, they can do toggles. I've seen some pretty robust toggles in EA games.

And us modders can fix it so that it's capable of being turned on like it should be.
