is the legendary edition of skyrim getting mod support?

i wanted to know this to see if i should get the legendary, special, or another version of the game, or what version you recommend

If you are talking about paid mods, the ones that Bethesda is putting out, then no, I do not think so. You can find versions of those mods that have been ported over to Skyrim LE for free  (Bethesda's loss for not getting ahead of things and providing legacy support, IMO) otherwise you will should probably consider getting the special edition version.

LE vs SE vs AE it is and old story by now. Simple fact if you are not willing to understand and put the time in on how to mod it won't matter they all have issues.
