Also found another couple of annoyances with no apparent off switch.

 

The Chaurus Queen armor keeps forcibly unequipping my primary weapon the moment combat starts, as well as every few seconds during combat. I'm assuming this is from automatically casting (or trying to cast) the Chaurus Blade power, though it doesn't actually give a message when doing so. My character is primarily an archer, so I'm sure you can see how that could get frustrating.

 

The spider powers gained through the Chaurus Queen quest line include one that automatically consumes Spider Eggs and other alchemical ingredients in combat to give me throwing spiders. This includes eating up Fire Salts, which are needed to take off the living armor without wasting resources on an endless supply of parasite repellant.

 

A lot of the parasites automatically do things in response to damage. Most of them I'm fine with, but anything that eats my equipment or disrupts my fighting style is an automatic no-go for me.

Never went the chaurus queen path due to it screwing up my textures (Argonian and Khajiit have their body texture turn to human skin)

 

Its likely if despite all this it still happen every minute, you got another mod triggering the attack that doesn't play all to nice with SL parasite, check console if any line pops up when an attack is triggered

devious device config related, check its MCM in the device underneath tabs and turn everything off (set to none) for good measure

not sure if I missed something or had a bad install but the custom priest armours aren't there? like even with an additem menu they seemingly don't exist for some reason. Any Ideas?

Don't think so, you can try to dump your entire inventory in a container then go in console, select yourself and type "showinventory" look if those are standalone items and use the "removeitem" command if they are, preferably save before trying

Definitely not – the mod author did NOT intend for that to happen… it's an integral part of this PERMANENT transformation.

Yes, he did mention a long time ago that he might change this – but he's probably pretty burned out after 10 years of working on various mods.

Bit of a issue I'm not getting animations it just skips over any sexual in counter or is that meant to happen

Anyone know how what filters to run to get the full body suits (such as the living armor) to not hide slot 52? Or is there something just core in the mod that prevents usage with intersex (futa) characters? I can't for the life of me understand of the Devious Device device hider works, and or why the mod baseline doesn't say on the front page that you have to unhide the full body suits in the first place in the DD device manager.

But yeah, so tldr is: I figured out how to unhide the living armor/tentacle monster/blackreach spores, but cannot make them show without them always covering up SoS Slot 52, which makes this entire mod incompatible with certain gender characters.

Its under DD in the hidden device 1 and 2, just mark everything none

Can confirm with testing this, by turning every single thing in page 1 and 2 to none(disabled), with the living armor as a test, that it still hides anything in slot 52. Even if you open the SoS menu and mark the living armor as revealing, it immediatly unchecks itself as revealing (to go back to concealing automatically). Just to double check though, is Devious Devices NG (using most up to date version as of this post) incompatible with this mod? Since  been reading confusing conflicting stuff here about whether it's alright or not.

That is normally where you start, ok I am assuming you are running a female PC?

I am using NG and I believe it is the latest, that sound just like the hidden option in DD. Cheat room supposedly lets you know what slot is being used, you can also go to Sexlab, which I would do first, look under the second to last option on the list , iten is for item you want to be removed or never to be removed with a sex scene, it should tell you what you are wearing, look for slot 52 and see what is listed if it is listed

This wouldn't effect you outside of sexlab would it? I'm not complaining about it being hidden during sex scenes. If it effects you character 24/7 out of sex... what?  I can give that a check anyways.

To elaborate the sexlab strip item editor does not have (at least the living suit) I used to test even show up on its list, even when clicking the show All Inventory button. How do you access the DD hiddden options or the "Cheat room" you're reffering to?

Yes and no, what it tells you is if that slot is being used by something, for example: the dd soulgem piecing will show up in the genital slot, just like boots would show up in the feet slot, all we are doing iss seeing is something is listed in slot 52, if there is nothing, then you may have a DD issue, or another mod that is hiding that slot.

That is a mod for LE and it looks like someone converted over to SE? possibly, what it does is, looks ate all your slots for your PC and then tells you if something is there. (wearing) it is to verify that you have a clear slot.

In this, aradia snake rogue armor is showing as being worn, now if you look at the bottom it is taking up slot 32 as well as 52, there are some things that create a conflict between those 2 slots what will happen is that when you try and wear the top which is slot 32, (full body) it "hide slot 52 due to vanilla armor covering the full body, bikini armor will take advantage of using both slots for different pieces of armor so you can either wear armor in slot 32 or slot 52, unless you have a pecker (male) then once you do reviling armor option in SOS you then can wear both. 

at the bottom you can see both slots listing under that top.

That is why in DD you have none on slot 32. so if you are seeing it disappear once it is put on your PC the you have that conflict of some sort or DD is not working like it should, as far as I know DD is the only thing that hides slots, but I do not know all mods so there could be a mod out there that does and I am not aware of it. 

 

next question, is this a new playthrough? if so are you using new beginning/alt start of some sort? 

or are you doing the full quest?

There is another way and going into the console click on you PC and do inventory, see if you have ID without a name, that could be the problem as well.

 

There is another option is go to a save before you get the living armor I believe you said it was, make sure DD slots are disabled, then test by infecting and see if the same thing happens, if it does, then its back to something is interfering with those slots

this is not a "animation" mod, its is a mod about changing. it will use other animations you already have installed, make sure you read the description, get all the required mods etc.

I have AnimatedParasites_SE_ as well its animates the parasites I have all 4 files installed, been a while since he has updated the mod, had to go look LOL

If there is no sliders for the mod search for Parasites CBBE SE and 3BBB Bodyslides V8, and you should be good to go

 

Edit: looks like he has a link on the mod page for the bodyslides.

I'll have to see if installing all 4 would do anything or not tomorrow and what does the animated parasites do ? just add a moving texture or make them actually move around ?

run loot, it will order it the best in most cases, but if you have deadly dragons make sure SexLabParasitesSE is after, or you will gget a dragon and not what is suppose to show up at the end quest.
