Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I'm not seeing any solutions but it doesnt hurt to ask I wanted to use a multifollower mod for 1st time though if Im going use one I want something that NFF is not allowing. Looks like EFF is the same based off of what I had read. The problem is, for immersive reasons and cause I have 100's of follower mods, I want my follower to be able to die, I envision it would not happen often but I feel like every now and then I should lose someone in my party. With NFF you have 3 options. Followers can only die if you kill them(Protected), followers can never die(Essential) or they can not regen any health ever without healing them. I cant get over how insanely stupid this is, drives me nuts. Im seeing 3 options for me. No multi followers, Followers can never be killed, or I have to personally heal them all after battle or see their depleted health bar over them everytime I converse with them, being that my char is not a healer it basically looks no multi follower mod me. Aft looked like it was maybe an option but at one point I had seen a follower go from almost no health to all health instantly replenished. So much for immersion.

Just Don't Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 (edited) EFF has up to 100 followers. You can set them to be regular npcs (no protected nor essential flag) so they can die from whatever. There are several mods that enable additional followers with no other changes so you can mix that in your modlist without worrying about the compatibility of major follower frameworks. There are other mods to stop the auto-heal after combat ends. Plenty of defeat mods can also handle followers. There are many ways to do what you want. You seem to be focusing on NFF (which I haven't used, so it could very well be the case that all of this can also be done with NFF but you and me don't know about it). spoonsinger Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 (edited) For SSE, (didn't check for LE, but probably easy to convert) Follower Death and Injury - Followers Can Die. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38043 Edited January 26, 2023 by spoonsinger 1

But users were reporting that if a follower is not marked as essential or protected then mod acted the same way NFF works with those followers not regen health. Might look into that Several mods that enable additional followers, i looked pretty good only seen about 5 of them which outdated UFO was one, dont think that is an option, Seen another one maybe named Simply More Followers but after reading users post on its mod page it seems that old mod is fairly dorked, if you know a simple one please suggest, I could easily do without all the bells and whistles the more popular mods offers. I just want to have a few followers with me that can die but still does regen health. Mods that stop auto heal after combat that also offers multi followers, and or doesnt break multi followers? Idk about that, not saying you wrong but I am questioning it. I think part of the problem is that nobody ever came behind the follower mods they have installed and removed the essential flag, which all follower mods have.

Maybe reversing that and trying to have another mod to come behind a multi follower mod, if other suggestions fail I will take a look. I got a kick ass base setup for my crew, hate the idea of losing it.

Thanks Alessia, I blew a fuse when I seen that health instantly regen full in game, it pays to keep your cool. Wasnt crazy about the idea of using AFT but Im glad I have at least 1 solid option. 1
