I was working on my Body Worship Mods when I had an idea for a mod that tracks your gay male sims and their body types and automatically assigned them traits to alter their sexual behavior, attraction, skill gain, and career performance! A lot of this is pretty stereotypical, but I threw in a couple twists to keep things interesting! Interacts with features from Wicked Whims, Wicked Perversions, Basemental Drugs, Big Dick Problems, and AEP Porn Career.) Some archetypes are only accessible by aging from young adult to adult as certain other traits, such as Queens from Twinks and Hunks from Twunks. Having certain combination of traits will grant you Combo traits such as Muscle Bear. 

 

The full list of current possible traits are as follows

• Jock
• Coach
• Gaybro
• Gaymer
• MusclePup
• Alpha Pup
• Closeted
• Self Identified Fag (This one is a personality trait and therefore will not be automatically assigned. If you haven Wicked Perversions installed, these sims will automatically become house slaves.)
• Muscle Fag (Normally Fags cannot put on any muscle, that is unless one of their owners tells them to put on muscle. Then they become a muscle fag.)
• Pig
• Fat Pig
• Muscle Pig
• Man Bear Pig
• Leatherman
• Leather Daddy

 

You can customize just how much a sim will be altered by their Archetypes in the CAS Preference menu.

 

Future Plans:

• More In Depth Game Play and Interactions for traits such as-
  • Ask an older man to be your Daddy, and develop a mentor/lover relationship, 
  • As a Gaybro, work to convince your straight buddies to let you give them "Bro Jobs"
  • Work to hide you're true identity while satiating your urges as a closeted sim.
  • General inter and intra-archetypal social interactions.
• Various Lot Traits Specific to different Archetypes
  • Cruising spot for casual sex
  • Leather Bar
  • Bear, Twink, Jock Night Etc. Etc.
• Depending on how Growing Together impacts relationships: Special Relationship Stat to embody gay hook up culture (somehting along the lines of WW's Casual Romantic trait, without needing that trait on top of mine.
• Custom Mixer Animations, such as Bear Smile for bears and cubs.
• More detailed autonomy.

Love the idea of a femboy! I could use the CAS Frame trait to depict it or something.

 

Not sure how I'd implement guys in the closet in a way that hasn't been done already i.e. Lumpinou's LGBT mod though. I do love the closet as a gameplay concept however.

I haven't clocked much sims time yet but mechanically closet guy:-

 

He will:

propose to women

marry

(romance)

take care of himself 

  

But he wont WooHoo with her..

 

he will:

have a bf instead or sneak to see men for Woohoo

be jealous of any guy showing wife attention

 

if he gets caught depends on traits (forever closet - deny being gay even when caught or aroused closet - gets turned on being caught could even tease wife)

 

closet one would be fun sim.

After spending some time working in gay bars, I'd like to throw my two cents in here-

-Circuit Boy (lots of drugs, only likes other cicuit boys)
-Go-Go Boy (likes to dance nekkid for strangers)
-Corner Rocker (only dances alone, makes creepy stares at others while dancing)
-Wall Flower (hangs to the side, by themselves)
-Drag Queen (loud and boisterous, lots of crude jokes)
-Dirt Queen (loves the filth, enjoys being dirty)
-Nostalgia Queen (lives like it's the 50's or 60's)

Love these ideas! I was thinking of pushing Muscle automatically to go in that direction, but I just remembered that Basemental has a partier personality trait that I can def use to make circuit gay it's own thing!

 

Drag Queen is basically already implemented in the queen trait. Right now they excel at creativity and comedy skills and careers. I think I might take it a step further, and add the women's wear trait to them.

 

My mod making journey actually started with something along the dirt queen idea. Check out my musk mod if you're interested .

I love this idea, however I want to see one little improvement. 

The traits need descriptions. I get that for most of the people downloading this will know what each archetype generally mean, but a little description will could help make distinction between easily confused ones like Gym bro, hunk, and jock. Also, descriptions could help players avoid/fix ones that don't fit their characters.

 

I really do love that you made such a gay mlm centered mod though.

Definitely agree! I wanted to get all the infrastructure in place and all the traits mapped out before I went in a did all the finishing touches. I've added a few more traits since this release, so they might be included in the next update, but they will be in the one after this.

Love this idea unfortunatly it causes problems with Khlas [BDP] Big Dick Problems 4.0.3 giving everyone a big dick but loved how it automatically added a trait to the correct typed sim

So certain archetypes are meant to be assigned big dicks but that's also meant to change as archetypes change. I'm currently testing to see if those changes actually occur as they're supposed to.

I got the opposite problem of ST, all of my sims get the small dick trait. Even when I removed it, the trait will force back onto the sim unless I give them the big dick trait.

@TheNeighborhoodSimmer Thanks for the heads up! I'm updating all the traits to only change the sizes when traits get added, and I'm going to add a CAS preference that let's you decide whether to let the traits determine dick size or to let you customize them.

Bug Hunting:  I don't know if this is the case, but I have some cis women get this traits as well. I don't know if its intentional.


Suggestion:
-I'm mean I'm not a scripter, but since you've found a way to incorporate other mods into the mix, maybe try to see if you can incoporate Lumpinou's LGBTQIA+ mod (with permission) and utilize some of the traits that attach them to the genders and orientation settings in the mod. So if the archetypes are exclusive to Queer men, it could help focus those traits on to those who have those identifers with Lumpi's Mod (this also can help put archtypes on queer transmen as well.) This could also put down the leylines for adding achetypes for other groups as well (Trans, Lesbian, Queer)

-I do agree with @TheNeighborhoodSimmer is saying adding description would help people want to build their sims around the archetype. Even a little bit further is incoporating automonous actions or even give bonus to interactions or give moodlets with those said archetypes. If they do maybe let us know is these descriptions. You could add to the research option in computer to learn about the different Gay Archetypes.

Like @ArcanePup mentioned previously I am also running into the issue where all female sims get the archetype traits as well. Other than that issue, the mod has been a nice change of pace so far. Great work!

@Capt.DankDick Thank you! It'll be fixed in the next release! I was going to release an update today but yesterday I had a pretty cool break through in tracking CAS parts and I just want to test that feature a bit before release.

I have this weird bug where all my sims get assigned wicked attributes when this mods in. I tried to take off the traits but they keep getting added back

@Sutsiua that's intentional, but I will add an option to make it not happen. In my latest build I also have it so that it only happens when a sim gets a trait (if you do have the option turned to on.

No worries! I need to redo the mod description anyways to make that clear. It was a way of making the traits more impactful, but I realize that simmers may want their sims to not fit the mold.

 @Chris PyreTo piggy back off of their response. It seems the Archetypes are also bleeding into the Muscle Gainer and Feeder Body MOD you are doing as well. Like my sims have gotten really big off screen and I haven't been actively playing them. I don't know if it some Roburkys shenanigans but I will double check. Also the Gay Archetypes are saying they are too small muscle wise and literally there are max muscle stat. I think what will make this mod and the body traits mod work is that if there was a way to opt in or out of the effects of the mod. I would suggest creating a Global Setting in order to opt in/out certain played/unplayed sims. So we aren't having a whole work full of adonises, gainers, or candy crazed clubbers. This could helps us organizes which sims we want effect by the other archetypes as well. The other suggestion I would make is try to make it when we are removing certain traits that they stay off instead of auto applying. Certains sims I don't wanna opt out, but I don't want them being a muscle daddy or bodybuilder when they're just a bear or cub. Some of the gay archetypes start bleeding into each other.
