So it "officially" exists

http://www.8newsnow.com/story/3308578/area-51-declassified

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-205_162-57598871/area-51s-existence-acknowledged-by-cia-in-declassified-documents/

Finally after all these years, they say it exists

They say its only for airplane testing purposes... boring stuff

I don't buy it much

But I've no proof they are doing alien stuff in there... now that its location stopped being classified, there must be a new and more secret base somewhere around...

I'm not sure what to believe, and honestly, I don't really care, it's just curiosity and information

Alien stuff could all be true and weapon testing is the real masquerade...

Or:

Myth and popular culture turned the place into something a lot more awesome than it really is

Possibly a bit of both...

Who knows...

How can you say testing supersonic, stealth, or other varieties of high tech aerial vehicles is boring? Flight is exciting! New technology is exciting! You put new technology in the sky and it becomes even more exciting!

But no, seriously; it's just for testing experimental aircraft. We've known this for decades, it's just that nobody was allowed to confirm it. If an intelligent alien species has ever come to our planet it would be impossible to hide from the general public what with them trying to kill us and all.

...with them trying to kill us and all.

Oh no... the misanthropist rant is coming... cant... stop it!! noo! Its too late!! NOOOOO!

Why the hell would aliens be trying to kill humans?

This is what bothers me of the human race... they think all the universe spins around them

For god's sake, humans of planet earth:

STOP THINKING LIKE HUMANS

If they just stop thinking like humans for just a second they'd realize the universe is so much bigger than them...

Let's invade earth!! sure, everybody wants to invade earth

For humans everything is war, everything is an invasion, everything is about conquering and destroying. What a fucking bunch of monkeys

The historical data suggest that real alien races have technology far superior to lasers and war stuff, if aliens wanted to wipe out humans they would have released a deadly virus millenia ago, the black plague is said to be one of their experiments, creating the mythic figure of the Grim Reaper in the process

The evidence is hidden in plain sight, disguised as religion, miracles, the Virgin's apparitions, "stars" that guide people and move with intelligence, universal floods sent by "god", physical descriptions of serpent-like gods who came from the stars and instructed knowledge to primitive human civilizations, tales of mythological happenings with common roots in every culture, stories of rocks being moved by a mysterious energy known as "mana" where the scientists say nowadays, with ALL the present human technology, its IMPOSSIBLE to build a pyramid, millions of sightings and tales from people all over the world.

Just because the mainstream current chooses to ignore it, IT DOESN'T MEAN IT ISN'T THERE.

For ages, the authorities, the old and the new chose to ignore the elephant in the room, mostly for two reasons, one was maintaining control, knowledge is power, but the main one is fear, the truth is they are scared like little girls cause they have no idea how to behave in this scenario.

The size of the universe is so unbelievable fucking large, that the mere thought of humans being the only intelligent species, in the only planet capable of sustaining life in the absolute center of this unimaginabily large space is statistically ridiculous

Off world visitors never hide from the public, the tales are everywhere

Invade earth and kill humans is so basic and unproductive, its like if men wanted to invade an ant lair and wipe all the ants on the earth... WHY???

If there's no purpose, invading earth is really stupid, and also, really easy... study weakness, cut off the electricity supply and whole cities and countries get defenseless as maggots, everything depends on electricity and computers. Still think humans have any chance if some alien race that has been around for thousands of years studying and observing really decided that it's time for humans to die?

When people have a plague problem with cockroaches or rats, do they present themselves to the vermin and declare war to them? Do they fire their guns at those poor little creatures?, no, they poison their food and sit on their asses waiting for the poison to take effect. Declaring war to a colony of rats is just stupid and not worth it.

Does people really think that a species that has control of inter dimensional transport since bending the time-space continuum is the only way to travel between the stars and not dying of old age in the process, knowledge of technology based on molecular vibration, magnetism and resonance, probably know things like teleportation, which is possible through quantum mechanics, telepathy and god knows what other stuff, would give a single fuck about a primitive bunch of monkeys who think themselves the center of the god damn universe???

Other people think aliens are here to save us... wrong too. Evidence suggests some aliens are nice people and really see humans as younger brethren, others have darker interests scientific ones... but most of them... they just don't care

People can choose to ignore the elephant in the room, but eventually, they are gonna bump into it

How can you say testing supersonic, stealth, or other varieties of high tech aerial vehicles is boring? Flight is exciting! New technology is exciting! You put new technology in the sky and it becomes even more exciting!

I can recognize it has a level of excitement... just not quite the expected  :P

I can say two things with a high level of confidence simply based on probability.

1) There is almost a 100% chance of alien life in the universe that is intelligent.

2) There is almost a 100% chance that they have never come to Earth.

Area 51 is a great focus of popular culture urban legends but the reality is, it was where things like the Stealth bombers were tested. No aliens were ever there. There is literally no way that secret could have been kept for this long. It' s just not possible. Somebody would have told the truth, consequences be damned.

Sure the aliens never came to earth, there's no evidence of that and we are just gonna ignore more than 15.000 years of human history, because every single one of the stories from ancient generations was a lie, human ancestors were stupid and they had such a vivid imagination, that somehow they managed to imagine the exact same things through history in completely separate parts of the earth between civilizations that never even knew of the existence of each other...

I'm sort of ambivalent toward the whole Ancient Aliens thing, but man the one from "The Crucifixtion" always makes me wonder a little.

Some Facts:

We know only G-class stars (like our sun is one) can support life.

Every star that is bigger has a higher surface temperature that means that most of the radiation he produces is at least UV-light or radiation with even higher energy. Additionaly the bigger a star is the shorter its life time. So there life time is only counted in millions not billions like it is with our sun

Every star that is smaller (and 96-97% of all stars in this galaxy are smaller than our sun) will only produce infrared light that has not enough energy. Additionaly the life zone (where whater is liquid) is so closs to the star that with any planet in this zone would happen the same as with your moon. The rotation would be synchronized with star, that means only one side of the planet faces the star all the time one the other side would be eternal night. Within a short time the amosphere of this planet would be dissolved.

So only  the G-class stars remains, but 70-90% of the G-calss stars in this galaxy are in double or multi star systems. Because of the gravitational circumstances in this systems the formation of planets is not possible. So only a small amount of the stars out there can even support life.

As our knowlegede is at the time it seems that in this galaxy only sine 4.5 billion years the amount of heavy elements (that mean in this case everything that is heavyer than Hellium) is high enough to form earthlike planets. That means that our Earth with an age of ca. 4.5 billion years is one of the oldest earthlike planets in this galaxy. Under the assumption that the development and evolution of life happens everywhere with same pace as it does here, chances are pretty high that the most advanced life forms in this galaxy live on Earth. Shocking I know ;)

And I don't want start talking about the huge distances in space and the problem one would have to travel, or the problems on would have if he even could travel with the speed of light.

Some fun facts about UFO sightings for the end:

Over the last 50 years there were 25000 UFO sightings, that would mean that Earth is visted from at least one alien crew per day (we are quite famous out thre aren't we?)

Most UFO sightings happen it the Middle-East of the USA, seems that the landscape or the farmers there are of special intresest for our visitors from outer space.

They never showed up in big cities like New York and they all seem to avoid big gatherings of humans although they visit us so often. Realy sad, they travel so huge distances and don't even say hallo, or invade us.

I utterly despise this argument. You're insinuating ancient humans were too stupid to be creative, only able to recreate what they see like artistic parrots. This is plainly ridiculous.

I'm not saying ancient aliens couldn't have visited, just that you really shouldn't undersell how creative and intelligent even ancient humans were. To this day we're discovering shit they could do thousands of years ago that we couldn't do until the last three hundred or so.

Sooo...Twisting words and getting second reads out of nowhere, you must be very proud of yourself

I never said they were too stupid to be creative. The ancient aliens theory states the exact opposite, it states they were creative enough to find ways of explaining what they saw, they created legend and myth around fact, they compared it with the world that was known to them and they developed completely new concepts of art

It also reminds that most of these creative manifestations have roots in places completely separated, in cultures that never knew of each other, very similar things, references to the Orion constellation and serpent gods in places like Egypt and Mexico thousands of years before the discovery of America. Primitive cultures like some tribes in Africa having knowledge of the stars that only recently began to emerge in official science, like the existence of certain planets and stars only visible though a telescope in cultures where nobody ever knew what a telescope was...

I grow tired of this.. all I hear is "blahblahblahblah... we humans, we humans the most advanced race in the entire multiverse blahblahblahblah we rule over time and space we are are indestructible blahblahblahblah nature and every creature in the universe should bow down to us, we already know all there is to know and there's nothing more to discover because we are awesome and we know everything, how awesome are we? more than the universe itself blahblahblablah we have science and we know everything, the only possibility of life is if it's inferior to us And you know what? we should carry our advanced civilization everywhere cause the universe needs us to destroy everything! lets carry civilization everywhere!! The all mighty human empire""For the Emperor!!"

As the Spaniards led the Aztec and Mayan culture to the brink of extinction because "they had to bring civilization and Catholicism to their heretic and unholy primitive realm", now the all mighty human race carries close minded science to colonize outer space, bringing Atheism to the unconverted and heretics who dare to believe in something else instead of the God of Human Thought. Zealotry remains the same with or without gods

Convert or die!!!! and the same shit happens over and over again from different perspectives

I had enough of this shit. Human ego is endless

It's individual intelligence and creativity that makes up for the mass stupidity

Masses are idiotic and sometimes evil, only individuals can be geniuses and artists

War everywhere, slaughter, cruelty, murder, abuse, unconsciousness and pointless destruction, and masses still think somehow humanity is a highly evolved species.

And I give up... humans will always believe whatever they want and they'll be sure of it because they're humans and they are gods of evolution and nothing is higher than them

I refuse to try to force my thought as a weapon, I refuse to be a zealot, I refuse to ignore the things I've seen and heard because some scientist who can't see anything beyond his nose told me I didn't. I hereby stop and accept what anybody else thinks, freely, I will not criticize or judge anymore, and In my inner self, I'll accept the fact that everybody believes what they want to believe, but I will never obey any attempt of conversion from outside. I refuse to believe that the present human science has the last word and knows everything about everything, discoveries change all the time, because of the lesser few who dared to look beyond and question themselves and what is known.

Scientists all over the world have started to accept the possibility that earth is not the only planet with life. Every revolution starts with a tiny group of mad men. Even the mainstream science is starting to acknowledge it as a possibility

I do believe in off-world entities, according to what I've seen, heard, learnt and discovered, it seems only logic to me. So please just let everybody be in peace with their beliefs and stop trying to force you mind onto them. No matter what you say, there no evidence of absence.

I could probably give arguments for everything, as I have a few ideas and remember a few things countering most of the theories about why there are no aliens, but I'm too tired now and I've had enough of this, and endless topic that could go on forever and ever.

I'm tired of the trolling, I'm tired of the zealotry and I'm tired of the people who think they have the absolute truth and no respect for other people's minds.

I believe in aliens. period

If you do not, please do not try to convince me of otherwise, as I will not do so.

You don't believe in them?

Fine, have it your way and be happy

I had enough of this.

I don't want more trolling so I'm out.

Goodbye

I never said humans were the greatest things ever. I never said there are no aliens, that we've never been visited, or that there's nothing higher than we are. All I said was ancient humans were smarter than we modern humans realize, and that we should give ourselves a little credit. I hardly find it egotistical to have a little pride in our accomplishments.

You need to take an extra strength chill pill, seriously.

Sorry about that...

You got caught in the middle of an episode

The entire post was not dedicated to what you said, only the first paragraph was. And there's my explanation on how you twisted some of my sayings as I actually consider the exact opposite to what you said of "thinking ancient humans were too stupid". I think mainstream science considers them stupid for believing they were all gullible creatures living in fear of the dark and being totally ignorant persons who were seeing things that weren't really there because they don't exist

Clarification aside, most of the episode was dedicated to all the people who dedicates to look for "facts" and "proof" of the existence of nothing (Sorry Formel, your constant atheist preaching behind every word, and words to the glorification of human race as the most advanced life form in the galaxy really get on my nerves :P) But even if I mention certain people (Formel), the paragraph was not against a singular person, but instead against a way of thought. What really gets on my nerves is that kind of thinking I mentioned, were ego has no limit and self-criticism of a species is entirely nonexistent.

Formel's words carried some of that way of thinking, or at least, it seemed like that to me. But I've been angry with this way of thought for long ago for many different reasons, and Formel's post merely reminded me of it.

For every scientist claiming to be sure of the existence of nothing, taking math and current knowledge for granted and absolute, there's another who can develop a way on countering his mathematical arguments and evidence with other, and vice-versa, so the conversation is endless. And as for those who believe math is flawless and can never be mistaken... there's always another boy genius who's gonna develop a new formula and prove them wrong

mathisbroken.jpg

Having made that clarification and the explanation of my anger towards a way of thought and towards people who try to convince people that they're right and other's are wrong because they possess absolute truth...

I really meant it when I said I'm tired of the trolling

I'll not try to convince anybody of anything, I'm happy with the idea I have about aliens and their involvement with history, it's logic to me according what I know, and explains a lot of things. New theories and discoveries come up all the time, and up so far there has been no irrefutable "proof" of their non-existence. If anybody else wants to be happy believing this planet is lonely and there is nothing beyond, who am I to stand in their way,  but please do not try to convince me of your ideas.

I just had to clarify that, but NOW I hope I'm really OUT.

And yes I did take those pills now...

If this was kept a secret for so long why did they even reveal this now ?? They must have a new hidden agenda and using this to masquerade there real intentions now. So we would not ask questions about this again. just like what happened with PRISM. Right now Osama Obama tries to form a new plan to make it look like PRISM is out of commission even though what he s really doing is masking it out even more.

BTW why did America chose a president with the same name as enemy that started the war 2001 ?? I don't think even Germany would ever vote for some one with the name Hitler ever again.  :D

Actually, it is very, very common for the same myths to pop up all over the planet among different cultures. For example:

Many cultures have a myth of a great flood

Myths of sun gods are common

Myths of a god who dies and is reborn are common. (Christ? He was only the last such god to do this.)

There are vampire myths from all over the world. (admittedly, they take somewhat different forms in different cultures. Those vampires that are just heads and intestines are disgusting!)

Oddly enough, many cultures have a myth of a great tree or pillar that connects the Earth to heaven.

All I'm saying is that the same myth popping up in different cultures isn't evidence of its truth. Sometimes I wish it was, the world would be more interesting if we had a bit of the real supernatural and visiting aliens. Unfortunately, it appears that most of it is just that, myth. However, as I believe in ghosts myself, I have a hard time telling others their belief in a different myth is all poppycock.

Do remember that humans did originate from the same area; Kenya is where humans started out. It's certainly possible that themes from tens of thousands of centuries ago would survive throughout mankind's history.

Also, take note that the human race is incredibly inbred. Por ejemplo: If you are to count all of your ancestors back to the 13th century, supposing the age is averaged out, you'll have more ancestors than people that have ever lived on this earth, if your ancestors never inbred. 100 Billion people have ever lived, if I remember correctly.

Wouldn't surprise me if that had a heavy impact on the ol' psyche.

We're discovering shit that they did that we STILL can't do xD

But I've watched a few of the ancient aliens episodes on youtube and they have a valid point.  If you were to go back even a thousand years ago with a flashlight, they'd (depending on where you went) either worship you as a deity, or drown/burn you for witchcraft.  I would say that there's entirely a good possibility that there's truth to our ancestors being visited.  Maybe they stopped coming to see us because the species has turned into a bunch of arrogant, violent, angry knowitalls?

To what end? Why would aliens, if they had the ability to cross the vastness of space, come by to see primitive us and then stop for no reason? Why were they here in the first place? What did they hope to accomplish? Finally, if the evidence for aliens is 'a lot of cultures have myths that sort of resemble aliens' then you should look at my last post and ask why none of that stuff is true.
