Ok, special order, coming up! I went and did Martial Monk. Since it's an unpromoted class, it's just a simple-ish outfit trim (and a little bit of color redesign).

That was quick! This one little update should carry me for quite a while. My Archer and Martial Monk have very high internal levels so it will be a long time until they can promote. Super happy with this mod so far! And I've only experienced a third of the content! Good luck with the next classes, I am looking forwards to it!

Hey I have a quick question. Can someone tell me how to install these mods? It kinda doesn’t work no matter what I try.

 

i tried various versions of BOAMS & various nude mods but it just doesn’t work.

 

Im on original hardware and what I’m looking for is:

 

All the female characters and emblems to be nude in the overworld/ battles/ cutscenes, but like with some of their armor still on (I don’t remember which specific mod that was.

 

if somebody has like a tutorial or something that would really help a gal out ;-;

The biggest first question is -- Are you installing a Cobalt mod or not?

The mod goes into a different directory depending on if it is a Cobalt mod or not. If you're not sure, check the description of the mod. Usually, authors will say "Cobalt" somewhere if it is a Cobalt mod. If "Cobalt" is not mentioned, then chances are that it's not a Cobalt mod.

 

I think the main difference is just which directory you put the files under. This page has a good explanation (with examples) on how to install a Cobalt mod:

(and of course, if you are using a Cobalt mod, you need to install Cobalt first. https://github.com/Raytwo/Cobalt/wiki/Installing-Cobalt)

 

Non-Cobalt mods are put into the normal "mods" directory. For emulators,  there's usually a "mod folder" shortcut that takes you there. I'm not sure where that is on actual Switch hardware.

 

Another point I can think of is that you don't need to unzip Cobalt mods (most of them, anyway), whereas for traditional non-Cobalt mods, I think you need to unzip them. 

 

If you're still having trouble and need more help, please pick one mod to use as an example and show:

1) the exact directory path where you're trying to put it

2) the file structure of the mod

"Possible"? Almost certainly. How much work though? Not sure. If he has bust bones like females (l_bust_jnt and r_bust_jnt), then I'd expect just scaling his VolumeBust up in AssetTable would do something.

If he doesn't have those though, it might be a bit more complicated. Maybe you could just give him a female base body? I haven't tried giving a male character a female base body before. Maybe it'll work? Not sure

You're absolutely right! Mai Shiranui's outfit was the main inspiration!

One aspect of that outfit that I wanted to mimic was the very "open" sides. My front view pictures didn't show it very well, so here's a side view screenshot

For Sniper, I guess one inspiration was just a vague idea of a "skimpy elite elf archer". Unfortunately, this was too vague, so I had trouble coming up with a design. In the end, here's what I ended up with.

Hello! Playthrough has gone great, but have been waiting on the update to keep on going. I've been exploring some other mods while I wait. 

 

As far as my ideas go, some kind of skin-tight outfit or something, maybe using the 3D nude body as a base (if that is even possible). Ironically I myself don't like the idea, but it would be unique, and someone's gotta like it. I'm sure I can come up with more, but I'll leave it at that for now.

 

And I probably don't need to ask since it seems like something you'd do anyways. With this you have done all the outfits you set out to do (Congrats!). What's the plan from here? More updates? New mod? Something else entirely? A well deserved break? Whatever it is, I am very happy with this mod! Thank you for all your hard work!

My game freezes when I finish Chloe and Framme's C support. I am using the better localization mod and nofucksgiven's outfit mod on yuzu emulator. Is there a way i can fix the freezing or maybe manually set their support status to c rank in the files?

Glad your playthrough is going well! I'll try to upload the update soon (hopefully tomorrow).

 

Skin-tight outfit using the nude body as a base certainly is possible, and in fact, it probably is even on the "easy" side. You just duplicate the parts of the base body that you want, scale it up by a tiny amount, and then most of the work will be in texturing it. I do agree that "someone's gotta like it". But unfortunately, I happen to also be in the same camp where I don't personally like that design too much, haha.

After my energy comes back, I want to move on to skimpier/lewder outfits! I actually intentionally kept this first mod on the "tamer" side because this was my first NSFW mod after joining the Fire Emblem Divorce discord server (and that I'm posting to GameBanana), and I wasn't sure what level of NSFW would be appreciated/tolerated.

I want to make mods with a skimpiness level closer to the ones I had made a year (or is it two now?) ago. In general, I think I like the pattern where:

1) an outfit covers (maybe just barely) the important areas at first glance when looking at it from the front

2) However, due to character movement or non-frontal camera angles, you can catch glimpses of the important areas.

HOWEVER, making an outfit like this would mean that I first need a good looking NSFW "base body". I don't have a satisfactory NSFW base body yet and I think I'm going to have some trouble with that. But that would be the next step.

If the problem is being caused by one of the mods, one way you might be able to work around the issue is to disable all your mods and then doing the support conversation. You can re-enable your mods after that is over.

Given that I am a big fan of your previous work, I am very pleased with these plans! Though I'll try not to get too invested until you are actually working on that. 

 

I am a bit curious on what you want in a base body compared to the standard one. It's very rare to see someone who actually cares about the artistic aspect of this stuff!

For the base body, I want to add nipples (both as a texture and also as part of the mesh) and vagina. In the past I had tried drawing these on just as a texture, but I haven't been too terribly satisfied by the result. Maybe I got spoiled by the Genshin community's NSFW base body. That one was pretty amazing and inspiring. I might try to adapt that one for Engage.

 

(Also, "artistic"? Me? Hahaha, I'm honored you think that, but I don't have much artistic sense, especially when compared with many of the other talented modders on the server. Some of their attention to detail is out of this world!)

My playthrough isn't going the greatest. Ch 14 seems to just hate me. Long boring easy chapter, finally was gonna get past it in a modded playthrough after it ended a few to crashes already. Just as I'm in the last part of the map, it HAS to crash. There goes over an hour of my life!

I am enjoying the new outfits, but the game seems to enjoy messing with me more! One of these days I'll get passed this damn cursed chapter, isn't today sadly. :(((

I have experienced crashes on this chapter as well and had to turn off combat animations for the whole chapter. Also if you are playing on maddening, you can use the mod My Code Mods: Quality of Life Mods [Cobalt Plugin] which allows you to save mid-map and load without deleting the save instead of bookmarking and having to leave the game.

Hi everyone, 

i'm trying to add a new outfit to my boutique with only the Nude "body" - so, no armor, only the Body from the "CharacterDetailedNude_V1.0" by KihoOh.
I was able to add a new item by editing the Shop.xml and Item.xml - tried my best with the assettable.xml - but can't get it to work... everything i got are floating heads with invisible Bodys if i try the new outfit.

 

I only want this new "Outfit to be worn in Somniel so i can have the "Fun" Part in Somniel and the rest of the game untouched.. i hope u understand what i mean

I'm trying for days now and already read some of the gamebanana tutorials - has anyone an idea?

well I finally gave it another go (thank you for your help btw!)

 

Turned off animations, made it all the way through with no major issues. Then crashed on the turn I'd finish 

I hate this chapter. I could go back and do it alllllll again, but while saving, or even just relaunching the game a few times mid map. Instead I'm just gonna look for a way to skip it outright. I don't care about Boots, I don't care about Radiant Bow, I don't care about XP. Just get me out. I already think the map is boring, I just wanna get past Solm
