First time I met her she drove me to the peak of insanity... so much so that I made my mods ?  Can't help but love her now though... she takes some getting used to though.

I too have a love-hate relationship with Daejangg...I love to hate her.  But she is extremely useful in many situations, not just as a healer.  And the Kangmina mod has the Kangmina ring, an essential in any playthrough involving more than one follower, IMO.

 

These days I like to recruit a couple of the portal room singers as followers, with or without Serana.  They are underrated killing machines.

When I decided - to link this Serana mod to my Isekai story - I naturally ran into the problem with "Daejanggeum".

I can remember the mod from an earlier development phase and ... well ... I wasn't entirely taken with it.

But in the context of a completely bonkers Serana .... she almost becomes like a "calming pole".

To test what happens, I played through her quest arc completely separately - yes, even with the "scream" that removes her clothes from her body....

... with this lady you really have to pay attention to every word, otherwise you'll soon be without your own heart in your body!

So the decision was made a few months ago -> she has to join the party.

But she also gets a very special background ... not this funny story the mod-author made up.

I have my own plan ... but it can only be revealed very late in the story.

My Beef with these mods is the modder put so much time and effort into stopping the player from cheating through scripting that it takes away from the creative part of the mod. Who cares if someone cheats on a mod. Takes a certain personality to want to control others in this fashion. This person would not make a good friend. I would put the time and effort into the story line rather than the script. That is my 10 cents.

Hehe  Daejangg literally is a cheater's mod.  She shortcuts so many of the quest stages for Dawnguard and Alduin that would be otherwise time consuming or (after the nth time) boring, that she's worth her weight in gold.  The initial quest to get Gumiho's heart is a pita, but after that the mod runs fine.  As a character though, she's not my cup of green tea.  SDS Serana though, providing you take her in the way she's presented and not compare her to vanilla Serana, is f*cking awesome.

Man - I've been playing Skyrim since the day it first went on sale .... without such things it would have been "boring as hell" for years.

 

But some players are already completely overwhelmed by such a small portion of self-irony.

I use mods that kill the Skyrim quests so that i can play alternate content and sexlab mods. Who wants to play Skyrim content to get a companion that if you miss something does not work correct. Or if you want to get get a certain look and clothing for Serana you have to follow the quest literally or if you miss one aspect you can play for a long period of time and never be able to do such. Therefore having to go back to a save long before waisting loads of time that people with a real life do not have. He put much time and effort into controlling the player rather than entertaining or enlightening the player. If you cant see this you are of a different personality in which this mod is for you. Enjoy.
