keep crashing with this , is there a way to fix it. i notice it starts happening after my companion is pregnant via the event.

similar to happen even my companion is not pregnant

I think there might be a crash that happens after getting turned into a concubine and joining whatever faction you are captured by. I notice when you are a concubine that you have your new families banner on the game map but if you go into a castle or settlement...you get see your old banner under the city name. If a lord from a different faction communicates asking you to become a mercenary for them or send a marriage offer for one of your old family...you get a crash. This mod isn't listed in the exception. Only Sandbox. I suspect though that it is communication from Sandbox that can't work with the logic of this mod...or one of these mods lol.

There is this one Dude Who gives you a Potion to use on slaves, but i dont find this Potion or text to use it. How can i Use it?

The place I spotted it was if you punish someone who tried to escape, one of the options available if you do a personal punishment is to use the potion

Oh okay now it makes sence why i dont see it, because its bugged and i never get the event where they try to escape

Every time my pc is released from captivity/slavery the slavery skill resets, is this intentional?

I have to ask if you Guys have this too:

1. Many events dont trigger, for example that captives try to flee so you can use the Potion on them as punishment.

2. If you have a captured women, whos virgin and you let her take to your harem, there is the choice to train her to be an lover (which you cant use bec, your captive is always low on energy) and if you use the other text where you take it by force the textbox just closes and no text or animation follows and shes just no virgin anymore.

3. i wish that you could have the same events you can have with the bandit slaves, you get from the event where they try to steal your money, but with royal captures like Ira, Rhagea etc.. Bec. you have nearly no events with them or Opportunity to make them "slaves" with events

4. And one idea would be to include veents for beeing captured as a Male from a Female Lord. you just have the one Interaction where you crawl to her. but you could include events like they making them her breeding slave or something like that.

 

Just some Ideas and Questions but its a great Mod

Based primarily on what I read in the code....

 

1) The potion is supposed to come from a separate quest line which, if I'm reading this correctly, requires you to have a slave in a market somewhere.  I've never successfully triggered that side quest

2) There's two main paths: affection or obedience.  Going down one tends to limit the other.  The affection chain requires you to constantly respect her and her lack of energy and is aggravating for not obvious payoff

3) There's not really much distinction between slave and captive gameplay wise.  There appear to be quest lines for breaking the will of your captives as well as the option to visit them and abuse them, driving up their obedience meters.  I also ran across a random quest that lets you blackmail which can magically turn them into companions (low probability of conversion)

How do I download KLB Shackle, when I download it I only get a RAR file (is that what you're supposed to get?), and the mod doesn't appear in my game (neither in the startup thing nor anywhere!). It's annoying because I can't play your mod

Spot on; Slave is really for the PLAYER, and there isn't much for Captives.

RARs are similar to Zips; the distinction is not important, except you should grap 7zip to extract them (I don't think WinZip does it).

 

If you still have problems, just open up the Submodule.xml in the root of BC, and delete the line requiring Shackles. (you want the shackles, but you don't in point of fact NEED them; I put it as a requirement because Cap Events has an integration, but I'm too lazy to do MCM.)

I wanted to create an event where one of the Companions would seek out one of the Prisoners, something like :

 

<Text>{COMPANION_NAME_1} dragged {CAPTIVE_NAME} out of her jail cell and took her to his quarters .</Text>

 

Also, is it possible to specify the Culture of a Prisoner in an event?

Not as the code is now. We'd have to code a whole different kind of event under Random which was dependent on a captive. Good idea, though!

 

For "culture" no, we can't do that BUT we can detect a Culture for TEXT, some are

{CULTURE_NAME}
{?IS_SAME_CULTURE}
 
These ... may not work though, it may just detect the player culture.
