I am using the latest version of NG here 20250121 so I suspect that is the issue. Glad to know the issue is solvable though Forgot I posted this. Use the 2023 version of the mod. Also P+ has a race condition bug. The next release will fix this bug. I thought I could relieve the issues with that patch but it just delays the inevitable. If you're somewhat familiar with software development you can compile your own version. https://github.com/SLP-Community/SexLabpp Edited February 9 by Unknowing-e

Sheskunk Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Hey first off love this mod thanks for all your hard work. I've been having an issue that is probably something really simple but i can't for the life of me figure it out so i thought i'd ask here. When playing as a male, i can't get Random Sex to trigger male creature / female player animations, after reading through everything here i suspect it has something to do with this mod "manually changing the genders in SexLab". I've tested with Matchmaker and Defeat and both mods work fine playing animations with male player getting fucked but this mod won't no matter what settings i use in either Random Sex or Sexlab and using Sexlab Tools i cant even change the animation or animation tag, it just plays one of the HCOS male player female creature animations without the option to change it. This is probably intentional but i was wondering if there was any way to un-gender lock the animations to allow male players to get fucked by creatures, i imagine this also limits m/m human animations aswell but i haven't tested that at all. Any help would be very appreciated!

I cannot find a way to change the animation when an inappropriate one is chosen. Is this something on my end? If not, is there a means to change the animation? The default Sexlab O shortcut also has no effect. Any way to fix it?
MilfSimmer Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'm on Skyrim v1.6.1170 from Steam and I get this MCM, can't see any numbers or anything. Any way to fix this ? Spoiler

Reveal hidden contents I’m not certain, but this usually happens when a mod isn't configured for the language Skyrim is running in. For instance, I encounter this when the game is in Russian but the mod lacks a Russian translation; in that case, you need to go into the mod's "interface" folder and rename the "english" file to "russian" (or whatever language you are using).

Or until author decides to rewrite search routine that is. 1

trskmfrnjgrhrh Posted August 25 Posted August 25 This mod is no longer compatible with the most recent engine update. Is there any chance that we get an update? It's one of those mods that isn't critical, but it adds to the game immersion and I've really appreciated having it.
Arizona_Steve Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 Firstly, I am still here. I do plan to update this mod - the issue here is that I had enough of Windows and MicroSlop's BS, and moved my gaming rig over to Linux. So I'm going to have to figure out MinGW and associated stuff. Obviously I can't use Visual Studio anymore - if anyone knows of a good C++ IDE in Linux, recommendations would be appreciated. I plan to take a crack at it this weekend. It shouldn't be a big deal to pool together all animations that are compatible with the selected NPC list and submit them to SexLab. This would allow some cycling through animations that people have requested here. I will look into updating that too. 1

Arizona_Steve Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 I still have to move my code over to the correct fork of CommonLib-NG (CharmedBaryon's version hasn't been updated in three years) - fortunately it supports cross-compiling in Linux and has some decent instructions on how to do so. I will try that first. If I can't get that going I will look into firing up a Win11 VM.
Arizona_Steve Posted August 30 Author Posted August 30 (edited) New version posted. I have made no changes to functionality at this point. - Switched to alandtse fork of CommonLibNG (from CharmedBaryon) that has the latest 1.7.xxx support. - Had to rebuild everything in a Windows 11 VM (I use Linux). I have smoke tested this with Skyrim 1.6.1170. It should work with 1.7.xxx now. If someone can confirm this in the comments and let me know it would be appreciated. Edited August 30 by Arizona_Steve
Parianx Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Hmm it doesnt seem to work for me in sexlab p+ in 1.6.1170. Does the sexlab p+ patch and previous version is still required for it to work?
Arizona_Steve Posted August 31 Author Posted August 31 Honestly don't have any idea since I don't use SexLab P+. The interface hasn't changed and I have run it successfully with SexLab. Will be running it in-game for the next few hours so will see if I run into anything.
Magenta147 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 @Arizona_Steve Is there a way to disable furniture animation or only play non furniture animation only? Kinda funny to see a group of NPC humping in the air XD
Arizona_Steve Posted August 31 Author Posted August 31 Not really. The furniture keywords are unreliable and I've generally gotten around this by removing the standard SexLab animations (there's a mod to do this somewhere) and being selective about the animations I load with SLAL. 1
Ryo95 Posted Wednesday at 10:46 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:46 AM I used an old version of Random Sex from 2021, I just updated to your vewer version, but I can't click most options in the MCM, and the ones I can click untick themselves when I exit the MCM. Any idea ?
Arizona_Steve Posted Wednesday at 01:34 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 01:34 PM (edited) That would indicate the mod is not loading in SKSE. I'll take a look later today. What version of Skyrim are you using? Edited Wednesday at 01:35 PM by Arizona_Steve
Arizona_Steve Posted Wednesday at 04:26 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:26 PM Hmm. Thinking there might be some issue with using VS 2026 instead of VS 2022 that might result in some incompatibility. This might have to wait until the weekend before I can run some tests though.
ctuck61 Posted Thursday at 12:45 AM Posted Thursday at 12:45 AM I have been using this version with 1.5.97 and it works well version=d2023.4.11.0 I bet it was made with VS 2022
