What did you do on SKYRIM today? [spoilers for sure]

Took screenshot with menus off. Didn't turn them back on - then I walked backwards into a giant. Or at least, his club. xD

Death by tourism. ;)

Meanwhile in his game, my boyfriend battled a random dragon and nearly got his tookus handed to him. Right before he could get the dragon's soul, he was attacked by a sabercat, which killed him.

I decided since i finally added marksmanship to my list of 100 skills that id try to get my Light armor and 1h wep skills caught up to par... yeah it kinda works except on "non-living" mobs that i cant use my dual-enchant swords on to drain health off of. oh and bosses doesn't work so well on bosses but that just may be a lack of melee skill on my part.... yeah i prolly just suck with melee since i went 40 lvls using bows. Gonna try good ole s&b see if that works better for me.

Today' date=' I heard a dragon and ran toward the source of the sound. By the time I got there, four giants had killed it and were guarding the corpse. I died once just trying to run in and absorb the soul, lol. Worth it.

Lol, I don't attack giant bases. I have two separate level 20s now and I'm scared to fight them still. Granted they murdered my first char at a low level and I can prolly beat em now... Still tho, it's pretty cool that there are creatures about that make you stop - access the situation - and actually potentially just walk away and say "Better not."

On a separate note, I finished the Dark Brotherhood quest line today. Was freaking awesome imo. I enjoyed it quite a bit and had quite a bit of fun killing targets within those missions. I really enjoyed many of the rich characters within the "family" and actually found myself waiting around to listen to their stories of kills they randomly tell each other.

Just picked my side and I'm helping the Imperials take the land back from the "rebel" Stormcloaks. Call me brain washed from the last game but I feel a sense of obligation and pride in the Empire and don't want to be caught up in the racist antics of the other group. Also I don't feel they have the long term gameplan for how to deal with the Thalmor.

That being said I also just killed the emperor and did a bunch of quests for a few Stormcloak affiliated Jarl's, oh and my character is a Nord so I'm a walking contradiction here.

I know what you mean... I've got a High Elf siding with the Stormcloaks. It really makes for some interesting barks from the various guards. :)

82 hours played so far and whenever a moment pops up that I start to think "hmm, this is getting a little predictable and boring" I wander into a breathtaking tomb or take part in an epic battle that just gives me strength to go on for another 20 hours.

I just took part in the battle of Whiterun and I danced around dropping enemies with my bow. Having just unlocked the perk that slows down time when I zoom in for a shot made it feel all the more dramatic. I had no idea that there were such large scale battles in this game. Such a drastic change from the 4 vs 4 "big" battles from the last game.

Today I opened my 84 hours played game for the first time in 3 days... Found out that the stealth patch made my game unstable and crashed like 5 times in 10 mins. So today I backed up my data folder and uninstalled everything. I'm currently re-installing skyrim and I'll have to apply some of the mods I really liked again, but There is really not much else for Yin to do outside of just random wandering and dungeon-diving.

Hi all,

Once again i've gone and done it ^.^ like 2 days ago my games glitched my char into awsomness. First let me explain the one 2 days ago, there my warrior mage was (Khan), walking around killing the litch that had the staff of mangus, that super powerfull one that would drain life once it had drained mana (end of college quest line), and being partly warrior I could take quite a few hits (legendary dragon armour will do that) and after a rather intense battle (had to call for my sovengarde freind twice ^.^ (i only play on veteren/very hard/hardcore) we finaly killed the litchy and lone and behold when i went to collect the staff it read "staff of mangus(2)" so i looked at it, went out and back in, but nope still (2). So now my warrior mage is very happily duel weilding the staffs, killing everything with the greatest of ease(also it looks bloody amazing with it in a duel configuration XD). Now for todays one, my assasin/theif char (Scar eye) having compleated the theives guild questline and chosing the path of stealth (the invisibility while sneaking one). he was happily making his way through to sky haven temple (having just activated path of stealth power) i got through first so i desided to wait a hour for Esbern to catch up. So i wait and when the wait is finnished naturaly i go sneaky just cause i can and wait whats this? I'm still invis while i sneak :/ weird. mabye the 120s dosent include time waiting? so i continue on. I go of to the greybeards and talk to parthanax but wait... i still go stealth when i sneak? waaaaaa o_O somethings wrong here, its deff been more than 120s, discluding travle time and wait time. so I save and quit and reload, nope still goes invis when i sneak :/ so there you have it, my mage/warrior has 2 staff's of mangus and my assasin/theif has perma invisibility while sneaking XD (and i only keep one save per char (keeps save clutter under control) so short of recreating my assasin/theif he'll always be op... you'd think the game was trying to reward me for playing on max difficulty

Today I've leveled enchanting to 100. I've also gone on a alchemy ingredient collection rampage, following the river streams catching every fish, butchering every giant, stripping the hot springs area clean of harvestable plants, etc. :P

Going to level my alchemy tomorrow.

Hit my first major glitch. Following the Imperial story path I ran into a part that intersected the MQ. Since many of the same people are involved in both it apparently confused one of the npc's (Rikke) and now she will no longer give me the option to speak about the next stage of the Imperial questline. Unfortunately I'm playing on the console (waiting for the PC version when the CK is released) so I can't use the console to push the quest further. It's unfortunate but it looks like I'm going to have to wait until my next play through to see how the civil war questline plays out.

Invaded the Temple of Dibella...got a quest as punishment to rescue some kid...the kid went "EEK a dead body" at every dead enemy(weird kid)...got a nice quest reward(gold and a permanent buff that makes me do more damage to people of the oposite sex)...also made every1 in the damn temple(except for the kid of course and the old hag) candidates for marriage:P...fully crafted and enchanted my dragon set today(made me OP)

Found those vigilante guys HQ...they dont like me...kinda thinking of killing them all...(will see tomorow)

Got a follower for the express purpose of dragging her off and sacrificing her for a quest...

And blew a dragon skeleton halfway across Skyrim by constantly casting one of the Zombie spells on it.

Finally managed to kill the guy who follows my wife Mjoll everywhere without her knowing and turning emo or hostile. Fucking creeper deserved it, and also deserved his permanent place on a brazier burning next to that bitch Braith's corpse.

I dunno why I like putting dead people up on braziers, I just do.

Today, my dour nordic beserker, Wulfgar, found something very, very unpleasant in a lighthouse basement.

I'm beginning to think that lighthouses in Tamriel are not lucky places, and generally best avoided.

I had a fun outing recently.

I was searching for a dragon word, and I'd got to the chamber with the word wall. There was quite a tough fight against a couple of deathlords and Lydia had taken a bit of a spanking (figuratively speaking).

So when I went to claim my new word, Lydia rushed over to join me, stepped on the fire trap in front of the altar and promptly collapsed into her near death state.

So I wasn't entirely sure what to do about that. She kept trying to crawl out, but every time she gained enough health to start, the fire made her collapse again. I tried laying Healing Hands upon her to see if thet would bootstrap her out, but she'd stand up, say "thank you" and then step backwards into her "ready" stance, and co-incidentally back onto the fire trap. I even tried shouting her out with Fus Roh Dah, but the first attempt was deflected by the step up to the wordwall platform, and I was too afraid of killing her, to try again.

So eventually I just stood there and watch the poor, suffering girl try and pull herself from the fire. She got out eventually. In the meanwhile, well ... I've had worse times.

I just wish I'd had the "shout her clothes off" mod that people have been proposing :D

today i used my dragon shout against a draug, my dog vigilance put it in the way and i sent them both in the air. the draug was killed by my dog in mid air. damn i wish i was recording at the moment.

Spent most of today spawning things on the top of a steep incline and using paralyze or the ice form shout on them, and giggling my ass off as I watched them tumble down the mountainside, before randomly flying all over the place.

Had the Dark Brotherhood recruitment thing happen... and thought "fuck it". Used a duel-cast fireball and killed all three of the captives.

Never liked the DB - One of the 1st mods I got for oblivion was "kill the DB". I was so thrilled that Beth gave us the option to refuse and kill the DB agent this time.

The fight was epic and as if it was scripted I scored a critical decapitation on her to end the fight :)

Then I was further pleased to get the "kill the DB" quest. I was in total awe!
