Commonwealth Slavers

Hello, thanks for the reply.

The commands seem to have triggered the quest, but the Raiders, Gunners, and Mutants remain hostile.

I didn't get an on-screen notification, but when I activate the mirror, I do have the "stop prostitution" option.

Also, as I mentioned, ever since I stopped being a slave to the Raiders (after the true ending), my purse hasn't been working; when I equip it, it doesn't place a mirror in my inventory or hotbar like it used to. I do have a mirror, but I got it using a mod that lets you retrieve items from other mods (Fast Add Item Menu).

I’d also like to point out that for a while now—even before I finished the mod—I haven't been offered Snoopy's training after sleeping, and neither Ravenna nor Maria offers any interaction options. Snoopy just stays at the brothel; I can talk to him (I get the standard dialogue lines used for the Red Rocket dog), but I don't have the option to recruit him.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this might be linked to the prostitution issue.

P.S.: I’ve included the last few lines obtained using the `SQV _CS_Roaming` command; they relate to the quest. There are many other lines right before them—if you’d like those too, feel free to ask and I’ll send them to you.

Everything looks good. But I couldn't tell you why they're (gunners and mutants) still hostile. When that quest starts, it puts you in the Gunner and Super Mutants faction. I suspect interference from other mods. Be especially careful with mods that "improve combat AI".

Snoopy's training ends after obtaining the perks or, ultimately, after Lindstrom's death. I don't remember right now if there were ten or twelve scenes.

Consider starting a new game just to test. Skip all of Commonwealth Slavers 2 with the MCM cheat, choose the bad ending when you have to talk to Gristle (he'll offer you the choice to flee, fight, or remain a slave; choose to flee).

That's the quickest way I can think of to test this new mode. You can use a mod like ESP Explorer to get the purse. And check your mods. Try to keep it simple by using my suggested mods as a base; don't add anything outlandish.

So, I am down to the nitty gritty on my update to 1.11.240.

All things are working . . . except I've run into an issue I can't find any information on.

On a new game, when Gristle adds the collar to my PC, it repeatedly shocks me, and a message about "Slaves cannot wear clothing" comes up

Timer expires and the collar explodes.

I have run this several times with no clothing or jewellery on and no luck.

This same setup in OG worked well,

Any ideas?

It must be a load order issue. Real Handcuffs must load before Slavers, double check that.

If you're still having problems, disable this restriction in the MCM, Miscellaneous section.

Just finished the mod, fantastic work. I'm not kidding when I say that if it wasn't an adult mod then it would be mod of the year on every list.

It was a bear to set up and get working, though getting AAF installed correctly was 90% of the effort.

To help others I've attached my current working modlist. It works well, though not perfectly, with the Anniversary Edition/Next Generation and only has mods used to run Commonwealth Slavers. I'd recommend trying FusionGirl instead of CBBE though. CBBE seems to have a lot of issues with clothes; my slave just had to go around naked, poor girl! :P Also the knees are often jacked up despite various 'knee fix' efforts.

But anyway that's all AAF stuff. Your mod is awesome, thanks again!

Thank you! Regarding the blurriness in that pic with Declan. Since I manage two mods, I always forget something in one or the other. That blurry image is because you have the Bokeh effect enabled. If you have BethIni, you should disable it. I'm going to put it on the Slavers main page.

Ah ok. I was actually just posting the pic b/c I thought it was cool. I'll probably keep the bokeh effect, it's nice variety. I'm going to try a new run-though with Fusion Girl and a more rebellious Nora.

One thought, have you considered putting your mod on some repo (e.g. github) and taking Pull Requests for user contributions? I'm considering jumping into the modding world with a small change to the sneak button that makes nora go down on all fours, rather than crouch.

edit: heh, as soon as I wrote that it occurred to me that it likely already existed, sure enough: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55715

since updating to 2.9.3b, the AAF menu text has sort broken / isnt printing the text correctly. See pic:

Is this known and is there a fix for it?

That doesn't ring a bell at all. I think that pops up when your language isn't compatible with, in this case, AAF. How about reinstalling it?

You were right. Load order fixed it.

Now I'm confused, because I ran that load/priority order for a couple of years with OldGen and no issues.

I actually had to deviate from The Fucking Manuals order to fix it.

Well I guess it's never too late to learn.
