After deleting any mods I had that affected furniture or structures, the bed was still missing.  This prompted me to go look at a previous game where the bed worked, and I verified that it was still there and functional. I'm now thinking that this relatively new game save is flawed.  This is not the first time I've complained about a FO4 mod only to discover a corrupt save! (Both annoying and embarrassing) So, the only way for me to find out if any of the mods I deleted caused my save to go bad is to start all over again with these mods gone. If my new start ends up with a bed, I will list the mods I deleted as possible culprits. Thanks for your help and patience.

Hi I'm here again to post two fatal bugs I've bumped into.

First one is when I talked with Lindstrom to start [The Pit], my character cannot respond to Lindstrom. XDI seems dead or blocked cuz I cannot interact with the dialogue list.

So I skip the intro part via console (setstage _CS_Pit 100), and I met the second problem after fighting in the pit. Whether I won or lost in the super mutant battle, I found that the game would CTD whenever I called up pip-boy (equipping items/using maps/checking quest details/etc.) or opening MCM. At first I thought it might because I'm amputated, so I managed start the Diamond Whoring and go to Doctor Duff, but she ignored me.

I have no idea if it is because I chose to skip Version 1 quests through MCM cheat and I didn't follow the [Runaway Slave], or it's a matter of mod sequence?

(BTW I'm using Version 2.0.1)

  1. Install.
  2. And reload a save before they send you to the cage.

Worked perfectly, I am onto the next quest, thank you.

Thank you very much. As for the Bomb brothers, I can put them the same factions that I put on Gristle, so that they doesn't fight with every human during their walk. 

 

 

NR seems to be missing a nut adjustment to two. I'll see if I can fix it for an upcoming update to improve compatibility.  

I installed NR6.3.5 and it worked normally.It seemed like 6.3.6 have something wrong.I hope that can help you fix it up.

Something is interfering. I use XDI and never had any problems. Mods like headtracking could interfere, I have no idea.

Wow I re-start from previous save and follow the [Runaway Slave] quest finding this problem fixed lol, hope it wont happen again~

you are sent back to the cage by the door and the bomb brothers collect you and return to the whore house.  you should get the "Crash Log Auto scanner" from nexus.  It can help narrow down ctd issues.

 

 

Hey JB.  I finished that MOFAM run.  It worked almost lawlessly for part 1 of cs, but I got the dialogue bug towards the end of the 2nd part.  i know that as you level in skyrim, there are more and more things going on behind the scenes and problems can start to crop up,   That effect doesn't usually start showing up until around levels 15-25.  After finishing CS my character was level 8.  If i remember, I may test with a new character and console commands when I get back, to see if being level 1 fixes the issue. 

I have fixed any and all conflicts in the modlist so whatever is happening is happening at an engine level.  I know you want to get back to NR and i don't expect you to do anything, but sometimes fixing these things is a cumulative ordeal where the issues reveal themselves over time as more info filters in.

The best fix I can think of now is to have the mod auto-shutdown when it detects a bashed patch. I will include it in the next version and also in Nuka Ride.

 

I really don't hold those batch patches in high esteem.  A bunch of conditions that should not be mixed are glued together. I doubt a lot that a user has deep knowledge of a specific mod to define the very fragile "AND" or "OR" conditions, for example. I've never used them and unless a mod explicitly asks you to, I don't see why use it with my mods. 

 

Just look at how Xedit tells you that there is a conflict with my Camshots. There literally isn't. The only conflict is that they have identical names, but their IDs are different. And if it turns out that they happen to have the same ID, it's all for nothing because in the end the position of each mod in the load order also defines the first digits of the ID, so it's literally impossible for there to be a conflict.

 

What Xet is probably warning you is that there WILL be a conflict if you paste them into a patch. 

 

So any patch that touches my camshots is going to fuck up my camera events and most likely my dialogs too. 

 

Just tell me where you live. I'll take a plane. I'll sit next to you. We'll uninstall, together, that batch patch you have there installed in your mod manager... and then I'll go back where I came from. ✈️

if you do, did you turn combat surrender off in it.  turning off combat surrender in DCW is done by either console command or installing

and using the MCM from the Cursed Wasteland MCM mod.  for the specific console command check the DCW support topic.

this sound very similar to an issue i ran into when i first started playing with DCW.  i found that turning DCW combat surrender off in pre-war Sanctuary

worked best for me, and i use Violate/Harassment to handle that type of thing.  DCW, Violate, and Harassment should be turned off while playing CS.

Hey, I'm running into a problem where any AAF scene that is initiated locks my camera in place and disables my controls when I have the esp for cs enabled.

the game is still running, and the animations work, but after a scene ends I remain with my cam locked and unable to move.

For the record
I've tried it with no mods but the requirements for cs, and with my usual LO

I've restarted my PC

I've replaced my f4se files just in-case

I've validated FO4

I cleared my MO Overwrite

I should have AAF installed correctly its worked before

Is there anything that could fix this?

Hi, when I started playing with this mod, something went wrong in the beginning: when I spoke to Murphy, he just kept repeating "This is the beginning of your new life, slave. Get used to it." Then nothing occur. Does anyone know how to fix it??

I just started playing this mod yesterday.

I had it do that to me in Diamond City.

I cant remember if quitting to desktop and reloading fixed it, or if it was loading a prior save.

 

I've read the words, Save often more than twice.

I do know that mine works fine.

I used LOOT after locking load order on the slaver stuff.

Hate to add more onto this but i figured i would just loose the super mutant fight and accept the amputation and go forward.... well that worked until the next quest when im shooting a film, were in the middle of shooting and im guessing there are at least 5 scenes i instantly get CTD before the 5th scene can start and cant make it past there so unless there is something im missing i cant continue either path. ;( ...

 

Also wanted to say thank you for all the awesome mods you have made for fallout 4, The first one i ever tried was Nuka Ride, that was about a month ago. Now im trying out CS which im going to play right back into Nuka Ride. Thank You again.

The last quest started correctly but Medium doesn't seem to want to talk to you. I'm not sure why. But basically he tells you that he is going to run the whore house but with the ex-slaves and pay them.  And he invites you to stop by and work whenever you want. 

 

So type Setstage _CS_Brothel  3

Did the thing. Whore House is now rubble on fire with Dr Duff unresponsive next to it. Is there any other interactions after this?

Hey, JB, i've encountered first actual bug here.
Once the CS2 starts and i go to Jared he disables timer, says his line about 'traitorous rat' and then nothing happens. I've tried the cheat 'Regain player controls' and talking to him again, but he just disables timer once again, says the line and then nothing happens once more.
Not sure what might be causing problems, the run been butter-smooth so far.

You didn't move Big Bomb with the MCM cheat, did you? ? He has to be there next to Jared for the scene to proceed.

The only thing that jumps is the skeleton and also some nodes of your protagonist's body. 

 

Then I saw that you have CBBE and Fusion Girl together. It's one of the two, never both. 

 

Otherwise your modlist looks good.

Well, hate to bother you again, but yeah, 'SetStage _CS_Weapon 100' worked, i got whipped... And after getting out of the shackles frame i can't talk to Jared. Something seems to be very broken for me ?Mod's version is 2.0.4 btw
Oh, maybe it's an important detail. For some reason Jared exited his power armor too.
And no, i never used teleporting cheats prior to encountering this bug. Matter of fact - i didn't use any of mod's cheats before.
