Thanks for the reports. Can everyone who had an issue with the MCM being blank confirm that they were doing a fresh install of Slaverun. Not updating from v0.4.

 

I did not try a Fresh install of v0.5 beta. Only updating. Which I tested many times. It is possible something broke. Not sure what. Currently monitoring this topic from my phone. Cant release another update for a couple days, Once I have access to a gaming computer. 

 

If are still having an issue could you enable Papyrus logs and share them? Load back to a save before installing v0.5. The mod will try to install. If you are still having an issue then please share your Papyrus0.log. And maybe your User/SES0.log and User/SESDetailed0.log too. With those three logs might be able to determine the issue.

Sounds like installing v0.4 first and then updating is a workaround. It worked for some. Perhaps it works for everyone.

Corsecs patches for Slaverun works by modifying the outfit records that the original slaverun enforcer uses. This is done so that instead of using ZAP/DD it uses Non-Devious Device variants that has no scripting associated with them. Corsecs other patches simply modifies default outfits. Both of these two things are potentially conflicting because:

  • The slave/free outfit packages that the new Enforcer refers to may not be the same records anymore. (I would really like some clarity on this. Perhaps this depends on the FOMOD option you select?)
  • The default outfits will not be what is expected. But this can be fixed with the procedure you described yourself. And since the women now uses different outfits, there may be a differening determination about who are slaves and free.

I can see that the new .json files (SlaverunOutfitsSlave.json, SlaverunOutfitsFree.json) refers to outfits from the original Slaverun_Reloaded.esp when I select [SWR - Strong-Willed and Rich (Default)] and [Compatibility - Devious Devices] in the FOMOD, where-as the other options removes/replaces these outfit entries with something in the new .esp.

 

I assume this mean that the outfit selection for Slaverun Reloaded will be compatible with Corsec's patches if I select those.

 

So in order to get some level of compatibility, I must:

  • Select the two FOMOD options [SWR - Strong-Willed and Rich (Default)] and [Compatibility - Devious Devices]. 
  • Regenerate default outfits based on my load order, like you described
  • Potentially add keywords from Corsec's patches so the mod is better at recognizing who is free who is slave
  • Make modifications to the two .json files as I see fit in regards to outfits (optional)

 

Sound reasoning. That is my understanding too. But I have not download Corsecs mods to inspect them. When he mentioned a desire for compatibility it was a big motivator to add the new Outfit Themes feature. I did not want to add compatibility one by one for every clothing mod. Made more sense to add compatibility with all clothing mods.

 

I will again mention. If anybody wants to create a better Outfit Theme for DD please share it. DD has an enormous variety of devices and color combinations. The 8 outfits included in Slaverun and do not realize its potential. Current theme just uses existing outfits. A new theme could have some cities be more restrictive. Some cities have color themes. Or just more device combinations everywhere. Quite a few possibilities.

I can confirm that it happens on fresh install/game. Took me a while to realize it was this mod. I reverted back to 0.4. Sorry, I don't have the logs as I started over and have several hours into the new game.

I'll try to debug it when I got time after I get home from work. If it's script related and obvious I will post a patch if i can get the Payrus compiler working

Playing on LE with 0.5 the Slaverun mod menu seems to work, although I did notice the following error when loaded up, I don't know if it's relevant or not (I didn't see it when trying 0.4, using MO I uninstalled 0.4 and installed 0.5 on a new save). I can also try with papyrus logs if wanted but since I'm not having the issue I'm not sure they would help.

As for the content of the mod, I had a few questions/comments about how it was working/supposed to work. I am playing with a female character with two female followers (Toccata and Vivace from their respective mods if it matters). I went to Whiterun and found my followers to be immediately enslaved with their outfits changed and unable to remove the new equipment (I was looking for the spell but couldn't find it at that time). I then reloaded and unchecked the "Female Followers are NPCs too" option, this time they were again immediately made "slaves" but did not have the outfits changed. Is there a way to keep followers from being made slaves unless the player is a slave? I want them to be free but subject to the nudity law like the player.

 

The second issue I noticed was with the guards harassing more females, described below:

When I went up to the Whiterun guard, he first decided to harass Tocatta, then Vivace, then while harassing Vivace decided to harass Tocatta again, resulting in him teleporting between the two (A double blowjob is one thing, but this was kind of ridiculous lol). Then after that he immediately went for Vivace again and got stuck in the animation. The moment I got him out he immediately went for Tocatta again and I gave up.

I really like that the player character is no longer the only one being harassed, but it doesn't seem to work right, and results in my case the player character never being harassed. Would it be possible to have characters on a cool down for harassment, or to have only a chance for each female passing the guard to be harassed? Additionally could it be possible to have MFF/MFFF/etc. animations here where the guard harasses the player and followers together instead?

 

Overall I really like the mod, I feel like sex is occurring much more often in slave cities, and really welcome the multiple female/gangbang animations that happen now as well. As it develops I think this mod will be a must have for fans of Slaverun Reloaded.

No obvious errors. The JSON files had illegal comments. By JSON standard, /* --- */ is not a valid comment although whatever parser you're using might make an exception idk. Regardless I removed those comments to test.

 

Idk what "SESDetailed0.log" is. Scanned my whole PC drive and nothing came up so

The outfits JSON appear to be broken here.

I can't see anything immediately wrong, it's just failing to load the form from the JSON.

 

That's triggered from SLV_Utilities.psc, line 3248 onwards.

Nothing immediately interesting in there, so I'm stumped :/

Sorry to hear about your troubles guys.. @gollum007Yeah that slaverunoutfitslave.json has some error with the 6th outfit for some reason, I just removed it from the .json (if you remove the outfit line, you must also remove the , on the line above)

 

So while you guys figure this out, I'm fiddling with different outfits and I took some screenshots of random npcs. Let me share for fun :)

Nope, no good.

 

Immediate thought is wondering whether this is script load related or something.

Also, to note, I'm on LE at the minute, which could possibly be busting things?

Thanks for looking into it. The MCM update routine was my primary suspect. It's odd that this specific update is the one failing. That routine already existed in v0.4. I would have expected it to be the newer versions routine that fails. Well when I can look at the code again I am sure we will figure it out. Until then people should install v0.4 first and then update.

 

Thanks everyone who confirmed that new installs were the issue. Very helpful. Apologies again for the glitch.

 

Regarding JSON comments: the PapyrusUtils parser ignores them. Very happy it does. The files would be a nightmare to maintain without them. Not certain if it is a JSON 5 parser. Or it might just be one of the parsers that ignores comments. That was always a stupid oversight of the original JSON spec. My opinion.

@TBDM do you have the players availability at 100%? Default is 50%.

 

Having the followers mimic the player is an interesting idea. I would have to think through what complications that would cause. It's not an option at the moment. What is an option is to give them Free Woman clothing. Then they won't be enslaved. 

 

@gollum007 Something real strange is happening there. You sure you have all of you .esp files enabled? The log is saying that literally none of the outfits in your slave outfits theme could be loaded by the game. That means the Outfit Theme got mangled or you are missing plugins.

Yep, all ESP files enabled.

(150+ mods, so somewhat heavy, but they're all there)

 

Have checked the OTFT IDs with TES5Edit, and they appear to be correct, which I think rules out a LE vs SE conflict at the minute.

 

Might have to try with a slimmed load order (or converting to LE, not looking forward to that....) next.

Could you add any dialogue to male followers when the player is free/fem slaver? At the moment there is only one dialogue as fem slaver but that dialogue only leads to the player becomming more submissive.

Some kind of sex dialogue is missing.

IT IRONED ALL THE PROBLEMS OUT i had with the enforcers!XD
all the time i was framed and reported to not follow the Nudity Laws, while wearing NOTHING but DD devices, also none of the Slaverun usual bangs were happening, your mod fixed it!

I might have misunderstood then. I thought the slaverun guard outside Whiterun was always supposed to forcegreet the player, and wasn't affected by the availability (which I thought was just for random interactions). If the availability impacts the odds of getting the strip/blowjob forcegreet then that could explain part of why he ignored my player character.

I just want to say I really appreciate your work on this mod, and I eagerly await the day you decouple it entirely from Devious Devices (I like the latter mod itself, but it's messing too much with everything else I have installed). All I want is visible traces of slaverun in my game and its nude law so I can couple it with SexLab Survival's license system.

I started fresh and here is what I did and what I noticed during the installation.

I am running Skyrim SE Anniversary Edition Upgrade.

I used and still use

  • Devious Devices 5.1
  • SlaveRun Reloaded 3.0Beta1
  • SlaveRun Version Fix for DD
  • and SlaveRun Enforcer Standalone 0.5

when I started a new game (with all 4 Mods enabled) Slaverun complained about Devious Devices not being version 4.1 and did not want to load. In MCM I got an entry for Slaverun but once I clicked it MCM was boken.

 

What I did to get it to work. I disabled SlaveRun Enforcer and started a new game. This time Slaverun complained as well but it registered. I saved the game and reenabled Slaverun Enforcer 0.5. Now back in the game I got a message that Enforcer is loading.

For now you can. But as I convert this mod to a standalone plugin it will outgrow the ESL size limit. Hence why it is an ESP. Planning ahead.

 

 

@gollum007 Did you figure out your JSON issue? You must have tried creating your own outfit theme because none of the defaults have that many records. If I can help name how. Checking the OTFT records in xEdit was smart. I do not think you need to do any conversions. Just be sure the IDs are accurate, the JSON passes a JSON 5 validator, and that they truly point to OTFT records. If they are ARMO records or another type then this issue could happen.

 

@TBDM The Slaveguards will forcegreet you at the interval you select. I think 12hr is the default. The forcegreet is not something I have touched. More or less the same as vanilla Slaverun.

 

@xyzxyz Did you figure out the cause of your JSON error? The full error message should say "check console for details". If you need help then please share the details.

Thanks @Selaya and everyone else who helped narrow down the blank MCM issue. I found a fix. Will release a new version in some hours. In the mean time installing v0.4 first is a perfect workaround. Basically no different than what my fix will do.

Nope, not at the minute.

(The outfit file was just both of yours combined to see if anything was broke there)

 

 

I'm wondering about a missing cast to Form in the CheckJsonArrayForNone function; sometimes Skyrim can be funny if you don't specifically cast to a known type, but the CK is being a massive pain at the minute. I hate compiling stuff with a bunch of dependancies :P

Nope, no change there either.

Specifically casting to Outfit in the load check gives a None reference again.

 

Edit 3:

No difference with a minimal load order :(

This is what the consol says. I'm more worried that the DD slave costumes aren't working anymore.
