Skyrim SE to Skyrim AE?

I got also the Skyrim Special Edition, now i ask me, i saw it as i was finish with my Skyrim SE download, why i got the AE Edition Things already included, i never buyed that Edition the AE!???

You get the latest version with SE. buying AE just gives you extra CC mods.

 

If you want to downgrade from 1.6.xx to 1.5.97 you can get a downgrade patcher on the nexus.

Baseline AE is free of charge, its basic update....

Puts you on the AE branch.

 

IF you want to download the actual SE version of the game which I suggest that you do for compatibility reasons as well as avoid updates, gotta go download a downloader one of them is available on Nexus.

There are also instructions commonly available on game sites as well as reddit on how to do it without a downloader.

 

The downloader is easy method though.

Ohh sorry   I  got Skyrim SE last installed over my Steam Library before 3 Years, so i didn´t even check, if there is New Stuff etc.
