Despite loving your mod i was forced to uninstall it for now, when my charcter equips a gag the mouth remains closed (even if i setted everything correctly), if i try to open menu when characters wears gag phonemes are all at 0, if i change them i can see that mouth opens for a second and then closes again. I read in this comment section that it's caused by Devious Devices NG but no one suggested any solution...

It's a shame because this mod it's really needed, i hope you (or someone else) can find a solution to fix this.

No, not usable in F4.

 

As for porting the mod to F4... it would be technically possible, but not 1:1.
I see two main problems:

  • Absence of JContainers for F4.
    This mod uses JContainers as a database, to store the racial/gender presets and presets for specific NPC.
    So the presets would have to be stored in some other way, and that would be a pain in the ass, and the result would likely lack some of the functionality the original mod has.
     
  • No means to implement a GUI for editing presets.
    I could be wrong, but i do not think there is a reasonable way how to implement the preset editing GUI for F4.
    How much would that be a problem, depends on whether there would be some means of editing the presets manually.

    For example, the Skyrim version of this mod doesn't really NEED the Preset Editor GUI.
    You can edit the JSON files in Notepad++ or whatever, and then use the mod's MCM to reload the preset data from those JSON files.
    Doing that is tedious and annoying, but it is at least possible.
    But what files would you edit in F4 version of this mod?
    Can F4 read any kind of structured data from some JSON files or something like that? Somebody correct me if i am wrong, but i don't think there is anything like that for F4.
    Of course, if no other options, some means of editing a preset could be implemented using the MCM, but it would be way more clunky than editing JSON files in Notepad++.

 

So... it is doable, but a huge pain in the ass.

And frankly, seeing how little did F4 modding scene progress when it comes to lewd stuff (still relying on the same 12 old animations, no meaningful DD implementation or integration, etc.), i don't even feel interested in trying.

In any case, first thing I should do, is to update the mod to the latest DD NG, so i am not going to work on anything F4-related any time soon if ever.

Yeah sadly there is still not  enough lewd  stuff in FO4 - but we will see what happens - it looks still like there are some people active - if i have more time i will try to start with modding in FO4.

Hmm really love possibility to adjust gags and it looks much better than default expression but for some reason my character can't keep mouth open, it works for like few seconds and then weird things happen - character just close mouth sometimes for just a second and morph and animation is working again but sometimes closes for much longer - basically random, like something is overwriting morph/expression :(  any idea how to fix it? Thanks!

DDNG or UD (forgot which one) conflicts with this mod's face expressions. Basically, the two frameworks are having a back-and-forth between which mod's facial expressions to use, switching between your custom one and the default one. 

To fix this, use the old "DD Racemenu" mod from 2023 in the DD development discord server and match the expressions in racemenu to your custom preset.

Damn you are right, I installed these 2 mods recently, feel like i need to give up and use default expression :(

Just wondering if anyone else had that issue with the white and red panel gags being invisible when wearing them? I kept having the issue and never found a fix for it, if anyone has theirs working and visible, I'd appreciate it if you could show me your mod list or something, to see how and why mine never worked. I tried everything I could think of but I never could fix it

i saw a video on BH of submissive kol i think using this mod to get the gags way bigger and it looks like the one in the image. Ive been trying for a few hours trying to make it look good and i keep messing it up. what numbers and slides did you use to get the ballgag to look how it does on your pic? im using the black ebon harness ballgag, everything is installed and working as anticipated im, just having a hard time making the preset to look like yours. i have a hard time getting the upper lip to look right can you pls help me out?;)

 

i love the mod but i just have a hard time sculpting things it took me over a week to make my body in bodyslide><

If you look at the second image on the file page, you can see all the morph values, except one that is out of frame - the Phoneme #13 which is set to 70.
EDIT: Also the character expression is 9, and expression strength is 100.

But keep in mind that those values are for that specific character preset you see on the screenshot.
Your character preset is probably sculpted differently, so even if you use the same exact values, the gag may not fit.
If you want to try the values with my character preset, you can get it from nexus: Mumba (redguard preset) 
(i am not sure if that Nexus preset is 100% the same - it is possible it may be a slightly newer version, but even then the values from the 2nd screenshot here should still fit)

I have the same issue, I'm so sad, because I used the mod in all my previous skyrim saves, I feel bad leaving the mod behind, it was very well designed !

I want to make it work with DD NG, but i wanted to make a proper GUI based on ImGui first.

Unfortunately, trying to figure out how to compile SKSE plugins without installing all that Microsoft garbage like VisualStudio and such (mainly because the installation of MS build tools always fails on my computer - you'd think they manage something like extracting files from an archive, but nope, it's MS, of course they fuck it up), took all the time i had to make that plugin (and i didn't even figure it out anyway).

So now i am stuck doing other things for a while, but i will return back to this eventually.

Don't worry mate ! You've already done god work by creating the mod in the first place ! Take some time and have fun on other things !
