Marriage

Argh, no one from the Dark Brotherhood or Thief's Guild can be married? I was hoping to start an evil relationship. Anyways, I think I've got my marriage ideas nailed down to either:

Aela the Huntress - Nord, found in a farm outside Whiterun:

Lydia - Nord, found in Dragonsreach, in Whiterun:

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Lydia

Muiri - Breton, found in The Hag’s Cure, in Markarth:

Ysolda - Nord, found in Whiterun:

I think I'm leaning towards Aela or Lydia though. I like woman who are tough and don't take crap from anything :).

If you sleep in the house with your spouse' date=' you will get a temporary bonus called, 'Lover's Comfort' that boosts your rate of skill-learning by 15% for eight hours. [/quote']

Damn, I need to get married asap! The longer I wait, the longer I miss out on that low hanging fruit!

There isn't any Khajit NPC that can be married

... and millions of furry lovers threw up their arms and cried out in despair!

Well, I guess that will be modded in, but these NPCS probably won't have voices. I guess I can do a decent Khajit voice for recording... if I chain-smoke a full pack of cigarettes just before.

Two Argonians though.

If you marry someone, can they carry one being your NPC henchman on your adventures, does anyone know? I like Lydia, but I'd miss having her battleaxe things that look at my Khajit thief wrong.

I can kind of understand why there wouldn't be any Khajit to wed. Most of them that you meet are just traveling around. It'd be a bummer if you couldn't even take your wife/husband into a city.

Something interesting to try on PC - Marry someone, kill them, wait a few days, Marry someone else, return to your lover's body and resurrect for two wives.

Hypothetically. Who knows if it would work?

lol that's kinda evil ;)

BTW besheda didn't mentioned that you can have children in skyrim? Well they also talk that you could build relationship with npc what turned to by untruth...

Yea, sadly you can't or I don't have idea how to do it. But few days back someone from bethesda said that you will be able to have children... Or maybe I understand him wrong...

Perhaps you can adopt one from that orphanage?

maybe having kids will be featured in a Skyrim DLC

My character is a female Orc, so nobody ever wants to marry an Orc (they're too fugly)

I'm not even remotely into Yuri/lezzie stuff (if anyone on here is a girl who likes girls, then rock on) - but I don't feel like marrying a dude :((

I want someone to jam out, with our clams out :x

I don't get the lover's comfort bonus, just well rested.

I married Shahvee, the argonian, so that I can mod in a maid outfit for her at the first opportunity, and finally live the dream of having an argonian maid-wife. Or for maximum roleplaying in my roleplaying game, we can roleplay that the housecarle is my wife, I'm Crassius Colto and Shahvee is Lifts-Her-Tail...

Yay! I actually wanted to start a topic on this. Was curious about other people's experiences.

Not according to any of the NPC lists i've read :( I was really saddened by this, too. It seems like the most interesting NPCs in the game can't be married..

Yes, they can be your companions. There are even henchmen you can hire then marry.

I can't take Shahvee with me on adventures, but she's of the "Civillian" class, so it probably depends on that.

She cooks awesome pies though, and she's started running a store out of the house, gives me half of what she earns.

I had Yin marry the Ysolda from Whiterun. No reason other than I like her voice. It would have been really funny if they had an "alternative lifestyle" wedding for same sex marriages but it was the standard deal. Ysolda didn't seem too please about it as she turned and bolted from the temple as soon as I said "I do". LOL

I had to trak her down walking her normal route in Whiterun to findout our living situation. :P
