You should be able to' date=' if you use the "marry and companion free" mod from Nexus. It gives you nifty little bat files to execute that have yet to leave someone unmarriable, aside from things like horses and kids. (It was a vampire kid. 200 years old, at least. )

So I somehow screwed things up monumentally. I used console commands to mess around a bit, and now Maramal won't talk about marriage anymore. I added him to the player marriage faction at one point, and even after removing him, he has a dialogue option to be a follower, but even with the "Speak to Maramal about the wedding blah blah" quest, the dialogue won't come up. Any suggestions on how to fix this mess? I have Sapphire as my "fiance", so that part is okay. I just can't get Maramal to do his part. Any way to force the dialogue?

If you killed her, as in killed-off-for-real, you should get a courier letter sooner or later giving you some gold as inheritance, with some soppy BS from the local jarl. After that you /should/ be able to remarry, but I've seen a few people report not being able to get the topic going. Just make sure you've done a quest for the person if they're vanilla marriageable, or used the correct console commands to get them marriageable if not. Make sure you're wearing an Amulet of Mara, too. (The thing about only wearing the one Maramal sells you isn't true, in my experience. I never bought one from him, and married at least twice, before the problem I pointed out above happened.

somehow got bugged, I can't marry anymore... maramel doesn't show me the dialogue to marry

is there a console command to fix that problem?

strange that we can marry guys and girls and 1 argonian, but not khajiit or orcs.
