Pinute Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I think I remember than animation - it's almost as creepy as a morris dance
nutluck Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Ah the second one needs the delay. Yeah that one is a bit trickery. I mean you could just have in a built delay where they just stand there a moment. Perhaps with a message popping up in the upper left corner with something like this. "Now it's mine turn bitch" or something, giving the impression he is taunting the character a little first before taking his turn. Again just tossing out idea's.
KSixNiner Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 is the guard feature compatible with Spectator Crowd's moral guard? or should i turn one off?
dkatryl Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 is the guard feature compatible with Spectator Crowd's moral guard? or should i turn one off? I have no idea. My guards react to a custom cloak spell.
dkatryl Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 It's the next one in line that needs to have a delay to wait on the previous to be freed up. I'm thinking of doing the creepy hug / push thing from the previous post. While the creepy hug worked, it was kind of slower than I preferred, and didn't always line up properly. Then I remember 3 things as I was trial/erroring alternate animations: Ashal did lower the required delay, as was pointed out a few posts up. He gave me a safety check to put in the code to make sure the previous actor was freed up that I forgot about until I was in there and saw it again. Creatures all just do a sort of "Charge in front, knock the player down" sort of thing, given none of the regular animations work with them. Given all of that, I'm going to keep it simple, and the next in line will just get in your face and push you back and get at it. Problem solved.
Dapper Dan Pomade Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Sounds elegantly simple. Looking forward to seeing how it works when it's done.
Pinute Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 have I said before how much I enjoy watching you enjoy modding skyrim? No? Well, I do. Thanks, not only for the mod, but for sharing your enthusiasm.
nutluck Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Very cool, well I just went and updated all the other new updates. So now once the new submit is ready i can DL and install it and get back to playing.
dkatryl Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 At this point, the regular NPC type dudes look pretty stable, and if that was all it was, I'd be ready to update. But then I decided to test creatures, since the nonsentient are handled just a wee differently (No post-sex binding or robbing, for instance) Seems like something is off on that part, as the first two did their thing properly, but the pulse didn't want to pick up the other 4 waiting. At this point, as I've been working on this pretty much non-stop for several hours today (not to mention the last several days) I'm going to set it aside for the rest of the night. After a certain point, you start getting diminishing returns, and I don't want to rush it out and miss obvious bugs. I expect I'll pick it up tomorrow with a fresh set of eyes, go "Oh, yeah, duh" finish it up, and have it up tomorrow evening.
Dapper Dan Pomade Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Yeah, the AHA! moment will come after you've defragged your brain with some nice sleep.
Lyman the Lunatic Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Yes, that 1, the page said 2.0. But when I'm going to download it (I always download everything manually) the zip file is 19-2-0-0a. Ah! Nexus has a freaky mod numbering system. As mods are added to its database, they get a number that permanently identifies it. For example, the newest mod, a follower mod (natch) is numbered 49492 (you can see the number in the URL of the mod page). The USKP is numbered 19 (and can be found at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/?). That's the 19 you're seeing in the file name - the mod identification number, which is followed by the mod version number, 2-0-0a. Ah k then, got it up & running now, though still can't managed to get submit by pressing 7 on animals to work. So this is gonna sound like a tech support guy asking a customer if the computer is actually plugged in, but here goes: have you gotten creatures to work with any other mod? Yes, Hentai creatures works, Puppet Master works, SD+ works. Haven't tried with Beast tamer & Random. And yes, I know that. That's how I do it & didn't get it to work. But I tested my char. on a wolf as I don't know fixed spawn points for other animals. So I have to strip my char. naked & let the wolf bit her till her hp drops below enough to let the autosurrender kicks in. Does the manual surrender work on humans? If it does and not animals that's really weird. Yes, it works for humans, I also think it's weird too. If I press 7, my char. will draw her weapons (which I have to make her sheath right away) the combat stops & nothing happened.
Skyrimfloo Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Uh, not sure about what I might be doing wrong but I got a runtime error trying to seduce guy. It was the shopkeeper from Riverwood (which, by the way, doesn't follow you when asked to, I suppose that the action to be on the counter has a greater priority or something) and I simply tried a couple times till I got the chance, then tried to do it on a nearby bed. I got FNIS updated and used right before loading the save and trying this, also used BOSS, so that shouldn't be the case... I'm not sure what other information I should provide, if any.

Considering I spent the end of last night before I stopped for the evening on creatures (I turned my 6 bandits into 6 chaurus with the SetRace() console command), the manual surrender worked fine each time. Did you ever provide a log for when it fails to work? Without that, we're all just navel gazing.

I don't know what you mean by runtime error (CTD? Something else), but like the previous post, unless I can reproduce the issue as described (Which I can't, the dialog options have always worked just fine), provide logs or else it's all purely guesswork.

Hmm that almost sounds like you have another mod installed that uses the same button for something else. I don't think I have seen my character ever draw there weapon hitting the submit button. I always change mine to a different button I know is not used. Perhaps try that for the submit hot key.

I get runtime errors now and again as well, though I don't know if I specifically can attribute it to this mod. Basically I'll be playing Skyrim (it usually seems to happen when something Sexlab-related is happening), then it will suddenly freeze and I'll hear my computer make the 'error' sound. In my taskbar (I have dual monitors, so the taskbar can be seen while the game is up) I can see a 'runtime error', but I can't bring it up. When I do, I just get the 'this program is not responding' thing and I have to close Skyrim. Again, it doesn't happen that often so I've not been able to really narrow it down beyond the Sexlab connection.

I can only imagine 2 1) SkyUI 2) Hotkey mod But I don't think that has to do with anything as nothing was assigned on the key 7 & I'm pretty sure all of us here use these 2 mods.

Just turn on Papyrus you can do that by doing this. Copy these in your skyrim.ini in Documents > My Games > Skyrim >[skyrim.ini]: [Papyrus] bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 After you have this new heading and information in your skyrim.ini file you will get a new folder Documents > My Games > Skyrim called logs. Next time you play and this happens, quit the game. Go to that folder and open your last log folder and then copy and past it here in a spoiler tag so Dkatryl can take a look at it.

Open Skyrim.ini (My Documents/My Games/Skyrim) and add the following to it: [Papyrus] bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 Unless there's a [Papyrus] section already, then just add the three lines beginning with b to that section. You'll find the logs in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Script. .0 is newest.
dkatryl Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Okay, looks like the thing last night with creatures was just a fluke of sometimes it doesn't grab everything. Because I tried it again right before bed several times, and again this morning, over and over and over, didn't change anything, and it went through the several rounds just fine. So, there will always be an element of randomness where maybe it just didn't grab new people after the first round (or second if there are still more). But, in the end, that's fine, just pretend those particular bandits or whatever weren't in the mood for sexins. But from my testing, more often than not, sit back for the show, because it could take a bit. And just a few minutes ago, I did the final test to make sure everything worked correctly: Follower. All the testing yesterday was solo (I disabled my follower with the console command to use my usual test save). So, this time, I ran around Helgen, rounded up 7 bandits (6 directly in front of me, 1 was the archer at the top of the tower. Keep in mind, 7 is 1 more than I had slots (6)), once they were all on me, I enabled Jenassa (I didn't want her messing up my bandit round up too soon) and then found a nice open spot and hit the manual surrender, this is what happened: Round 1: (0/7 Completed) All bandits stopped and adopted an alias slot except for one. He returned to sandboxing a bit. (I assume the 7th bandit, the distant archer, had the 6th slot). I raised my hands in surrender, the message I attempted to surrender showed, got punched out by the first bandit, fell down to bleedout, no longer ragdolling. The second bandit popped in front of Jenassa, she also fell down to bleedout. While we both crawled on the ground, we were both robbed, and then they made with the s3xx0rz. They finished, we did the post sex collapse together. Round 2: (2/7 Completed) The first two wandered off into sandbox mode, the other 4 I could see (plus the 5th I couldn't) adopted a slot. No longer punching me out, the message now says my opponents haven't finished yet, the next 2 bandits pop in front of me and Jenassa, making us both stumble back and then fall down for round 2. They finish their thing, we do another post sex bleedout. Round 3: (4/7 Completed) The first 4 bandits have now fully entered sandbox mode, the other 3 adopted a slot. I still couldn't see one, the distant archer, but they apparently got tagged as slot #2, because while one of the 2 visible ones hopped on me, the archer apparently fancied Jenassa. So, they both did their thing, post sex bleedout, leaving one poor bandit. Round 4: (6/7 Completed) The first 6 bandits are in sandbox mode. Repeat of the last two rounds in the setup, only this time, Jenassa remained on the ground bleeding out while the 7th bandit did his thing with me. After he finished, another post sex bleedout. Round 5: (7/7 Completed) Now that all valid targets were sated, the next target check failed to turn up any targets, so Jenassa and I went into the bound part, where we then escaped like normal. (This time, I didn't wait around and let the random repeat trigger, but I've done that before, and yep, they all take a turn if they didn't sandbox too far away when it gets triggered.) So, it looks like everything is working as intended, so I guess I'll bundle it up shortly.
Skyrimfloo Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I don't know what you mean by runtime error (CTD? Something else), but like the previous post, unless I can reproduce the issue as described (Which I can't, the dialog options have always worked just fine), provide logs or else it's all purely guesswork. I mean that the game freezes and a window pops telling me something about a runtime error. It seems to be related to having sex in the bed choice, because I tried again later on the spot and it didn't freeze. I suppose this issue comes from SexLab itself, but I've used the "move to bed" option before and didn't happen. It might have been the recent framework update, though. If you tell me how, I have no problems loading a log. I get runtime errors now and again as well, though I don't know if I specifically can attribute it to this mod. Basically I'll be playing Skyrim (it usually seems to happen when something Sexlab-related is happening), then it will suddenly freeze and I'll hear my computer make the 'error' sound. Again, it doesn't happen that often so I've not been able to really narrow it down beyond the Sexlab connection. As I said I think the problem lies in SexLab itself, I've never ever had an error like this, all I used to get were CTDs when something went wrong, but this is a first. Maybe they borked something in the last SexLab update? I tried only a couple times, but it happened everytime I tried to have sex in a bed with Riverwood's item shop owner in his shop/home.

Your original post made it sound like you were freezing from the actual dialogs. If the freezing/crashing happens after sex has started, then it is definitely not Submit. Submit is ultimately just the window dressing used to access the Framework, and once the sex animations are called, the Framework is in control.
