PhineasColby
Just a statement. It's impossible to use with Firefox, and they install dozens of cookies which i don't want. Please stay away from it Link to comment

Guest 000
Uploded over 30gb of data on mega,... no problems at all! For annoying cookies just install Self-Destructing Cookies and select red or yellow option. Link to comment
Jayce Dimmer
If you get the Mega Addon, it'll fix any woes you are having with Firefox and Mega. Link to comment
movomo
Personally I don't prefer Mega for hosting my files but no problem in downloading from it, as long as you install the addon. Link to comment
Ark of Truth
You don't need to install the add-on. Why do people keep thinking at? I don't have it installed. Link to comment
WrythePhokas
I've had no problems downloading from Mega, but then I use Chrome and not FF. Link to comment
movomo
You don't need to install the add-on. Why do people keep thinking at? I don't have it installed. I know I did have downloaded a few from Mega before I installed the add on, but sometimes it doesn't work for some reason. I don't know why but sometimes that 'save downloaded file' menu won't open after downloading is over. So I figure that I need the addon to avoid bugginess. Link to comment

No, the button not appearing is a cookies issue. Either your cookies are full or your browser didn't download the information for the page correctly. Link to comment

Then there is 2 possibilities: - They removed that requirement (my info is like 2 moths old) - You didn't realize that you installed it Link to comment
Jordan
Just a statement. It's impossible to use with Firefox, and they install dozens of cookies which i don't want. Please stay away from it AdBlock + NoScript (Which you really should have anyway) Also, I've never installed anything from there and I've never had any kind of limits and I've downloaded pretty large files. And yes, I'm using Firefox Personally, I like it more than 4Shared or some dodgy site like Rapidgator Link to comment

Someone92
The release of Mega was rushed because Dotcom or however his name was wanted it to release it at the same day he was arrested one or two years before; because of this Mega worked only for one or two browser out of the box, FireFox was one of the browsers that needed an addon to use Mega back then. @PhineasColby: You know you can delete your cookies in roughly 10 seconds, right? DarkQuelaag
I use Waterfox (essentially FireFox) and it works fine. I didn't need to download an add ons, plus out of all the sharing sites it's the cleanest looking one. Link to comment

There so much scum today on the net and just to make money with ads If they're just looking to make money off advertisements, you have nothing to fear. As long as money doesn't start disappearing from your bank, and vulgar photographs of you don't start popping up everywhere, you have no reason to care. You're being paranoid. The big bad government isn't going to start calling you, making fun of the porn you're watching. Neither is a large corporation who cares only about money, and couldn't give a rats ass about what kind of person they're making it from. Link to comment
PhineasColby
Probably i look like him right now I cannot say things because i know shit about it, but probably Dotcom is giving data if claimed by authorities. But that's not the problem i just hate cookies. I accept Google, what you wanna do, but highlander ones from Mega no thanks. Call me crazy, if you like, i just don't wanna sell my privacy to a fat guy like Dotcom. What he does for the Internet, so that you want to give him your privacy for free? 4share or rapidgator use different policy , hell even this forum provide a great download system. Link to comment

Dude500X
There is nothing wrong with Mega. It is a great kiwi owned business. If you are getting slow download speeds from MEGA complain to our internet company's who refuse to upgrade our damn internet cable between NZ and Australia. It's nothing to do with MEGA, any download issues from MEGA can solely be attributed to the connection between NZ and Australia. Kim Dotcom has been wanting to upgrade it for awhile. Link to comment

It isn't correct : i was able to download fles bigger than 200 MB on Mega plateform with my FF 22.0, without specific addon. But i don't like Mega at al. 4Shared is far better in fact. LordJerle
*boggle* People still use Firefox? It's riddled with like... a billion memory leaks that get worse every time you run a scripted event o.OUse Chrome. It's got built in ad blocker, translator, AND it's the most stable out of all the browsers I've ever used. Link to comment
