With the game now on PC, just wondering if we can lewdify the ladies here. Granted they are in a small part of the game but still......

It pissed me off the way they censored Black Cat when I first played it

They're still VERY early and barely work. The skeleton doesn't fit and the animations are off. It's a start but we're not yet at the point of being really usable.

A mod that adds a playable, skimpy looking Spider Gwen would be an absolute dream. With how fast the model swaps are already coming along, we'll probably see external models rigged for the game sooner than we think.

Okay guys let's not let our dreams and hopes speak for us. Can any modder please tell us if this will ever be possible or not? Because so far I haven't seen any mod that changes the models and not just the texture of the game.

This is model for Mary Jane, don't know if it needs further unpacking or just figure what editor is needed. Tried to open as obj file in blender and that was a no go.

People commonly call it "censoring" when a character is given a less revealing costume. It's not really what censoring is, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The reason it's called censoring is cause usually some dev wanted to put a hero in a revealing costume, the act of not permitting say dev to dress a hero however they want, be say hero male, or female is censoring.

I may be mistaken but I think in this case it isn't really a case of censoring, just a redesign of her costume. Everyone is more used to her showing more cleavage like in the cartoon series:

Except that is the literal rote definition. Print censoring is literally covering up or removing something considered unsuitable for consumption or consideration because of moral or political implications.

That's not really what happened here.

 

They designed an alternative costume for her. There are plenty of potential reasons why they might have done that, ranging from "The old one is too sexualized" to "The new one looks cool" and not a single one of them would make it censorship, because it's an artistic decision by the people developing the game. You're perfectly welcome to dislike the design they made and to disagree with their choice to include it, but this is no more censorship than it is when Batman puts on his armored suit, which shows off his physique less.

You haven't the faintest fucking idea what you're talking about. A more conservative outfit IS censorship and the reason WHY is not only plain as day, the developers literally stated such to get those sweet sweet esg points with access media.

Go out and touch grass. Just because you can't see boobs in a new costume doesn't mean it's not censorship, otherwise any and all kind of costume changes that cover a female characters skin are censorship. Anything outside of nudist beach is censorship because how dare people put on clothes that don't leave them naked, obviously.
